A couple quick things before the holiday...

This story, link came from Bill. I guess it's awful quiet there in Big Piney if the sheriff's deputies can waste there time like that...

And on a lighter note, this blog entry from Sean Collins is one of the funniest things I've read in a while.

Enjoy the long weekend, everyone!

Stupid-ass censorship law

From Journalista I learn today that the State of Michigan is passing a stupid-ass censorship law. You can read the details for yourself, either in various online newspapers (e.g. The Grand Rapids Press or Booth newspapers) or by reading the bill itself.

In a nutshell, it means that art books with tasteful drawings of nudes, sex eduation books, illustrated anthropology books, and National Geographic are to be lumped together with things like Hustler's Taboo.

Must be an election year coming up...

More Lesbian Pulps

I came across another gallery of lesbian pulp covers, this time from the Vintage Paperback Portal. I have to say that I like the sentiment of "Take a Lesbian to Lunch," though I'm not sure about "Satan Was a Lesbian"...

Grrls Grrls Grrls

The Website TV and Film Grrl is nominally an Angelina Jolie fan site, but seems to have morphed into a blog for lesbian & bi- girls in film and television. Some good reading, so check it out. (Thanks to Bill for the link!)
