New G4 Macs!

Apple today finally made my dreams come true, announcing a new G4 Mac desktop and price drops on the older models. Sure they made me sweat it out a couple of weeks past MacWorld, but I think it was worth it, as I'll now be able to afford a sexy new dual 1.25GHz G4.

Yes, I can get a bit turned on by new Macs. Poor G won't know what's hit her when she gets home tonight (I need to convince her that a new computer is a good investment...) :)

And yet another new story

Just posted the latest Walnut Grove story, "Happy Birthday, Madison!" This story looks in on Bridget--who we met briefly in "Maggie & Tammy"--and her girlfriend Madison, who is Hilary's ex-.

My third new story of the year--you might think I'm on some kind of productivity kick or something. Not quite true though, as HBM was written quite some time ago--it's one of the stories I wrote while I was working on M&T. But since I really wanted to introduce Bridget in M&T first, HBM had to wait.

Many of the Walnut Grove characters fascinate me, particularly when they do things on their own. I wouldn't have thought it to be in Hilary's character to just dump Madison like it appears that she did. Still, Madison seems to come out of it okay, so I guess that everything has worked out okay in the end.

That's the kind of slut I am!

Just learned today from Neil Gaiman's Journal that there's a Website called Bookslut. I now have something to aspire to :)

New Walnut Grove Story

I've finally finished my new story, "Maggie & Tammy," and posted it in the Walnut Grove section.

In this story, Maggie, Hilary's best friend (who we met previously in "Ginny Comes to Town") finds herself attracted to a girl for the first time. It's a tale of young lesbian love and romance--if you liked "Jo & Hilary's First Date" and "Too Short a Summer," then this one is for you.

It's taken me a long time to write this story--I checked my records and I've been working on it off-and-on since October 2001! (I managed to write four other WG stories in the interim, so it's not as though I've been slacking off.)

I've got another WG story finished and ready to go--expect to see it posted within the week...

New Story by Me

I've added my first new story of the year -- "The Prattingville Pussy Posse" -- to the Miscellaneous section of my site. I was feeling a bit blocked on my Walnut Grove writing, so I took a break and wrote this little tale of a high school girl who is willing to do anything to join an exclusive club.

I wrote the story in about 3 sessions over the course of a week. It was a good cleansing of the mental palate, and had the desired effect as I was able to jump right back into Walnut Grove when I was done.

Will there be more tales of the Prattingville girls in the future? That largely depends on the feedback I get. So if you like it, let me know :)

New Story

MacWorld Keynote

Didn't get what I really wanted from the MacWorld keynote (new desktops, so that the prices on the old desktops would be lowered), but there were still some interesting things.

I get the feeling that the new iLife suite (improvements and intergration of iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie & iDVD) could have an interesting effect on the porm industry. Imagine--thousands of home users empowered to create professional quality porn of their own devising!

I wonder if Apple will put that in their Switch ads? :)

"My friends and I make homemade porn and sell it on the Internet. But we've always had to spend more work editing the movies than making them. But now with our new Macintosh we just plug the camera in and zoom the movies are in the computer. We can edit in iMovie, put in chapter stops and transitions are so easy. Then it's zoom into iDVD, and in just minutes we're burning a new DVD on our Superdrive. Now we get to spend more time in front of the camera rather than in front of the computer.

After a false start and much trauma, I think ready to try this blogging thing.

I can't promise that I'll have something to post every day, nor can I promise that what I have to say will be interesting. But I'll give it a shot and we'll see where it goes.
