I hate you! (except you)
With everything going on in my life right now (more on that at the end of this post!) it's hard for me to find the time to work on any of my stories. I'm not a prolific writer anyway, so when the muse does hit I try to make the time to focus on the stories I care about. Like Suburban Girl, or Trailer Trash Teen (yes, I swear, I haven't given up on that one!). You know, the stories I started, got you all excited about, and then never finished? Yeah, those! :P
But anyway, this damned election keeps distracting me from my writing! Now that I have Internet access again (yes, I was briefly without it... it was horrifying) whenever I try to write about Tina or Becky I end up going over to my favorite news sites and blogs, you know, just to check out the headlines. And then I end up just having to read one, maybe two articles. Then three. Soon, I'm up to four and thirty and I'm lost in it and it's just... argh!!!
I'm a junkie when it comes to politics. Especially this year, with the stakes so high and the election so close, you know? Longtime fans of this site will know this. But this year... I mean, I never thought Obama would win the primaries. And he did! I'm still stunned by that. The fact that it's very, very possible he'll win the general election too, well... I can't help but focus on each and every poll or event in the election. It really is like a drug for me. It's sort of sick...! Grr.
So anyway. I'm a nervous wreck about this election and I know that I will be until it's over. November 4th... my god, it's so close! And things are looking so good for Obama right now. The polls are trending in his direction, McCain is looking like the angry old fool that he is, the Republican VP candidate is dropping like a rock as people get to know her, Obama solidly won the first Prez debate, etc. Yet I'm still really nervous. Why? One word: racism (and this guy, btw, makes a pretty good case about it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QIGJTHdH50).
I don't think a lot of people understand just how big an issue that is. Racism, I mean. Obama should be dominating in the polls by a huge margin given the current state of our nation. Yet he isn't! Why? Fucking racist assholes, that's why! Oh, and ignorant fucking Fox News watching morons (most of whom are also racist assholes).
What really pisses me off is that so many of you (fans of this site) have made it clear to me that you're racist, too. After my last blog post (and especially after this one) I was shocked to learn how many of my readers are racist. It became clear via some emails, comments to this blog, and chat messages. I would like to think that most of you aren't, but dammit!!! If the majority of my readers aren't idiotic racist assholes then you're a silent majority... I mean, for every five racist or pro-Republican e-mails I get, I also recieve maybe, maybe one tolerant, Democratic one. Argh. Why is it that my fanbase is so unlike *me*?!?
Oh, and I want to make a quick point about my last post. In the comments and emails I received about that fucking retarded, lie of an ad that so pissed me off, many of you claimed that McCain was telling the truth. That Obama really did want to teach Kindergartners what sex was because of that vote he made as an Illinois state senator. Hell, even McCain still claims the ad was true so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But I have two points on that:
First: THINK FUCKING LOGICALLY!!!! Do you really think that someone in this country could rise to national prominence politically if he truly supported the teaching of the use of cocks and pussies to 6-year-old kids?!? I mean, if you're a Republican and really hate Democrats and think they're crazy, I get that. I can step into your shoes on some issues and understand your point of view. But do you really believe that any presidential hopeful, Dem or Repub, could make it far by advocating such a clusterfuck-crazy-point-of-view like sex-ed for Kindergartners?!? Does that make any sense?! Put aside for a second the fact that you disagree with Obama on a lot of things. Do you really think that he, a father of two little girls, wants to teach sex-ed to them?! Even worse, have the government teach it to them? Do you really believe that? If so, WHY? WHY would he want that? WHAT COULD HIS MOTIVATION POSSIBLY BE?!? Did he wake up one morning and say to himself, "Gee, you know who doesn't know enough about sex? My daughters. I'm going to introduce a bill in the state legislator to fix that." Do you really, really think that's the case here?!? If so you are FUCKING STUPID BEYOND BELIEF!!!! Arghhh!!!!!
Sigh. Anyway, Second: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/off_base_on_sex_ed.html
Okay, I'm done ranting... I just... argh. I cannot believe how close this election is. Why are so many Americans so dumb? Oh, and if you're a Republican... well, shoot, I won't lie. I'm talking about you, specifically. :P
-shannon-
P.S. I almost forgot: I promised I'd tell you about what's going on in my life right now. Basically, I'm living in a new place near the old one. That means, duh, that Beth and I aren't together anymore. I fucked up the relationship and got dumped and rightly so I guess. Sigh. Oh, and now I'm dancing full time and sort of getting back into the "escort" thing, too. Maybe I'll write more about that in my next post. I promise to let you know every last dirty detail, anyway, if you promise to vote for Obama. You racist jerks! :D
Labels: politics, stuff about me

yeah, me too !

Sorry to hear about Beth.
I'm sick of the racist republicans as well.
tranqul
I'm surprised that you're surprised that there are so many intolerant racist a*holes around. Just who do you think put GW in office -- twice ?!
IMO, you're better than to just dance/escort. Hope your life comes together. :-)
Why is it that is anyone doesn't like who is your dream Prez, they're racist? Neither candidate is worth a bucket of spit. As for thinking logically, you thin this man should be President because if he became Prea, OMG that would mean that we weren't racist anymore!!!!
Please. I know you're really keyed up about this emotionally and it would give you some kind of validation if he became president.
Reality unfortunately doesn't share that outlook. As far as I'm concerned, both candidates lost any credibility when they got on board the whole bailout thing. They want to get us to pay for the stupidity of a bunch of crooks and thieves.
I true non-racist would not care about the color of a person's skin. A non-racist person would look at what someone says and what they do and draw conclusions. What being non-prejudicial means is that actions, in the end, are what count. Much more than the color of someones skin.
First off, I have to agree to an extent with the poster at 11:26 a.m. Simply because you are not an Obama supporter, does not mean that you are a racist.
As for the debate... I don't think that either candidate came off particular well. I think that Obama looked uncomfortable and too concilliatory and McCain looked old and frail. Neither is what either candidate in my opinion wanted to appear.
As for you and Beth... good riddance to her. I've been reading your blog and stories for some time now. I don't even claim to know you personally, but from what I read, it sounded like she was wrong for you.
And I agree with an earlier poster: there is more to you than being a dancer and an escort. (Even tho in my dirty mind I would love to see you dance :)).
Keep up the good work. Things will come togehter. And if you are doing the escort thing again.. .please be careful.
Shannon,
Tell us more about your sex life. (That's what I come here for anyway.) I want to know who you're fucking and how you're fucking them.
Maybe you should join a political party and go to some of their after election parties. You never know you might get to fuck a major politician and start a new career as a bigtime escort girl.
Anyway, good luck with your voting.
Horned Toad
Honestly I think your the one who is blinded by his color, and this so called mantra of "change". I will admit George W. is a complete douche, but all I see in Obama is one of the most far left democratic (socialist) candidate we've ever seen. Don't get me wrong though, I don't think Mccain is such a standup guy either and they both play their own political games to take advantage. On Obama's side now the faltering economy, and dems deliberately sabotaging the first bailout bill to make the repubs look bad (even though it wasnt a good bill lets be real). so now everyone sees him as a savior. Also, Mccain doing his whole I'll pick palin to get the hilary vote so amusing. Honestly though in the end, what gets me is that I feel Obama seems to me like he's going to cater to foreign dictators, like Hugo Chavez, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Frankly, that scares me more than anything. And I bet you watch MSNBC as well, so have a good night
Shannon: I'm a Democrat, and I'm not racist. I've also never posted (sorry about that!) but I'm a big fan, especially of your TTT stories.
Anon @11:26 - I don't believe Shannon is saying "If you don't like Obama, you're a racist." I believe she's saying people who make derogatory comments about people of color are racist. There's a difference. Feel free to not like Obama for his issues. Vote (or don't vote) for whoever you think will do the job.
Cullen: Prev paragraph goes for you too. :-)
Now, in regards to McCain and Obama: I've like Obama since the first time I heard him speak. I've checked his record, and I'm proud to support him on 85% of his platform. He disagrees with me on some things, and that's fine. I LIKE his politics overall, however, and believe he's out to do the best he can for the country. At least he's not a fricking moron like our current President. To think I was in the military, and could have been under his orders. Yikes! Dodged that bullet! Em... literally.
John McCain: I used to have tremendous respect for him. I believed he was a maverick, who stuck to his guns and had some good things to say. Now, after researching a potential future president, I'm really disgusted with his politics. Flip flop? Oh my gosh! And, a liar to boot. Nope... NOT the right guy for the job.
Palin: I have NO issue with voting for a woman, but that bitch is a power-hungry moron... more of GW wrapped in nice tits. I don't think so, thank you very much.
Anyway, I apologize for the rant in response to your rant, but there are definitely a number of your fans who love your work AND your politics. Sorry to hear about Beth... every ending provides an opportunity for a new beginning, right?
Good luck, Shannon!
Lazarous
I have donated money to the campaign so you bet I voting for him it's the free part.
I'm sorry for your sake to hear you broke up with Beth, but honestly she sounded hinky to me from everything you posted about her. So maybe you're better off, or at least you might as well convince yourself since it's over anyway? What the hell, right?
As for stupid republicans, yeah there seem to be a whole shitload of them. But remember, there are plenty of stupid democrats, too, and we're more likely to notice stupidity in groups we're already disposed not to like. That said, I don't know how anyone could bring themselves to vote for McCain/Palin, either. Yeesh.
All I know is, I'm voting for Obama 'cause I want to see you post a pic of yourself. That's still on, right? Fuck the war and the economy, I got my priorities straight.
hi shannon
sorry to hear about the relationship.... they suck, don't they?
I am a Canadian, so as such I cannot vote in your election (but, hey we now have our own pop election happening!).
However, I really do hope Obama wins. Why? Only he will be able to change the way the rest of the world sees America.
Don't get me wrong.. I love your country and visit it very often. However, G. Bush has done everything possible to aleinate much of the rest of the world, and has given you guys an unfair rap.
I was in Spain last year, and when people found out I was a Canadian, they were asking me how I could stand to live next door to America. I told them it is a great place, but that their leader is an idiot.
I am really hoping that Obama wins. His victory will do more for peace with the terrorists than Bush has done with his invasion of Iraq.
Enjoy watching the action!
Sorry to hear about the relationship. But considering some of the early factors you mentioned, it's probably for the best.
I was already going to vote for Obama anyway, but feel free to tell us more about the hot sex from either the job or your personal life.
P.S. Cheer yourself up with a nice tawdry gangbang. You've earned it.
So tell me, if Democrats are supposed to be so "tolerant" how is it OK to say that all republicans are racist? Might want to look at the history of your party. Obama is just a great speaker. That's it. He was brought up in the Chicago political machine and was groomed for just where he is right now. He has zero independent thought and simply regurgitates what he was trained to regurgitate. Racialism is the Majority of blacks voting for him because he's black. Am I a McCain fan? I totally respect his war record and admire how he hand;ed himself when he was a POW. I don't like his (or any other politicians for that matter) politics. ANY politician runs for office in a search for power. "Change" to them is just playing the crowd. If you believe they are sincere then you are either naive or a fool. OBTW, The president doesn't spend a dime. It's the congress. If the congress really didn't want to spend money then the pres couldn't do anything about it. I'm really tired of hearing how W put the country in to so much debt by spending too much money. The Democratic congress takes the credit for that.
Sorry to hear about your problems, I've been through some similar ones and I still don't know how I messed up. I live in Alabama and I see too much racism and wonder if we can ever get rid of it, I hope so.
Sorry to hear about Beth. But I do promise to vote for Obama if it leads to us getting some awesome stories of dancing and escorting. *pulls up a chair*
I'm sorry to hear about Beth too.
If you want to talk about it - well that's what we're here for!
I hope you find someone else soon.

Hey-
I love your site and your stories, and I've read them all.
I've also been seriously turned off by the hatefulness on the internet, particularly among people who enjoy this site so much. There seems to be a disconnect there because your fans are essentially among the more 'evil' in the Republican mindset.
So my money and my hours are going to the Democrats this time around and I'm so disappointed to know that the same hateful, racist, conservative bigots I'm fighting against are fans of this site and don't understand the repercussions of their hate and their vote.
*Sigh* Just because some place is called "FACT CHECK" doesn't make them an authority. Especially when the people bankrolling that organization are also bank rolling Obama.
Take a deep breath and write down the items in the ad, no I'm not going to do it here. Now DO NOT READ THE FACT CHECK OPINION look at the FACTS listed on the site and in the LINK to the legislation. There was nothing in the McCain add that was not factual.
The bill said it would include sex ed in kindergarten, but said it should be age appropriate. That item was left out of the ad. However, that's pretty much all the guidance there is.
So pussy's and cock's and bondage, SM what ever...sure as long as it was presented in an "age appropriate" way. That is in fact what Obama voted for.
Shannon,
as they say on the radio, first time caller, long time listener.
as far as the politics go, I'm a registered republican, I don't agree with the Democratic Senator on alot of issues. I will be voting for John McCain come november. I will not bother to address political issues beyond that.
other that that, big fan of the site, your stories are engaging and well written, and your posts about your personal life are equally engaging. Given the subject matter that most of your stories appeal to, i will go out on a limb and say that alot of us readers would like to hear more stories about your job and things of that nature. I don't know if your familiar with blogs like waiterrant or clublife but a blog dealing with your experiences in the dancing/escorting industry would be an must-read.
Always good to ear from you and to know that you are well. Your droughts of posting are always a concern to us. Best of luck with everything, you deserve nothing but happiness.
One huge problem is the demonizing of the other side. Republicans get told that Democrats are all godless elitist heathens who want to kill babies, and Democrats get told that Republicans are all ignorant racist fucks(*coughcough*) who want to shoot anything that moves.
No matter what party you are, don't forget that just because someone disagrees with you does not make them automatically an evil person.
Well I'll admit to being a racist, so few people do. However I have enough sense to see that Obama must win, the world is changing and with his ethnic background (father from Africa) he might just save America. McCain (?) will probably die if he became President, and Palin, well I do like her but we have a world crisis that needs leadership
John Nanoc
The bill said it would include sex ed in kindergarten, but said it should be age appropriate. That item was left out of the ad. However, that's pretty much all the guidance there is.
Incorrect. If you read the bill, it does not establish or mandate sex ed classes for any grade. It creates a curriculum for classes that are being taught. So, if your school teaches sex ed to kindergartners, this bill tells you what you have to include. If your school doesn't teach sex ed to kindergartners, this bill has no impact on them.
Damnit I keep missing your posts. And I'm pretty sure you're not gonna read this far into the comments. Number 23? Who reads comment number 23? Everything's already been said.
Anyways, I'm sorry to hear about Beth. Don't beat yourself up over it; it won't change anything and it'll just make you feel worse.
Emerse yourself in the politics for a while. We're here with you.
So wait, am I a racist for not buying into the whole Obama is the second coming of christ, or am I god fucking gun loving nut for listening to McCain? Seriously, the day I let a whore determine politics is the day I shoot myself, and probably have plenty of folks willing to help.
Seriously, the day I let a whore determine politics is the day I shoot myself, and probably have plenty of folks willing to help.
I'm pretty sure they're willing to help for reasons unrelated to politics.
Maybe if she'll do me some 'favors' and the country not be destroyed by socialists and idiots, it might have some appeal.
Besides, wasn't she going to post a photo of herself if Obama won the nomination?
She said she was going to post a bunch of unfinished stories that we have yet to see if Obama won the Democratic nomination.
If he won the election she was going to post pictures of herself, which quite frankly is why I registered in the first place.
Grunt here...
I'm an odd duck... I'd vote for McCain(as I'm generally Republican) but his tax and health care plans scare me.
Obama's plans interest me, but... He's got one big thing against him from me.
He's from Illinois. Yes, Illinois. Him and Blowjobovich(the douche bag Governor we have) just happen to be the best of political friends. And, I wouldn't trust our Governor any further than I could throw him uphill in a stiff wind. Every Illinois Governor gets elected to at least two terms. Once in office and once in prison.
So, it's not that he's black. Hell, he could polka-dot for all I care. But, I won't vote for a Democrat from Chicago until I have some faith in that political party in this state. Fat chance of that happening in my lifetime. It didn't happen in my fathers.
Grunt, disgruntled in laughing stock political state of Illinois
p.s. more boobies now
This is the first election I've really cared about. I understand Republicans getting upset over being branded racist just
because they don't support Obama.
I like Obama. I know he isn't perfect but I also know that no one is perfect. If everyone agreed on everything then there wouldn't be any Good or Evil.
Good and Evil are just prespectives based on personal moral values.
No one sees the world the same way. I think most people who support McCain are just people. They all have their own problems and their own stories. Each one has a different view of the world around them.
I do think racism will play a role in politics this year. My biggest fear
is people coming out to vote who hate Obama not for what he supports or what he says but for what color he is.
But, having said that I really do think that most of the people who will vote for McCain over Obama will do so based on a multitude of subjects from taxes and the economy to national security.
I want Obama to win but I won't simply scream Racism! if he doesn't.
...though I have been telling my family that if McCain wins I am moving to Canada and hanging out with Sasquatch in the woods so we can play xbox360 all day. Hell I'll even learn French so I can go to the store and pick up Nachos when we run out.
Viva le Obama!
...yes I know that doens't quite make sense when translated but
it's still funny.
so :P
I do not about politics. I just wnat to know who your fucking!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are a lot more racists under Obama's campaign than there are under McCain's. They may not be as vocal but they're definitely there. Think Vick and Kanye.
If you really feel that every Republican is just a racist you're truly ignorant. Some of us actually do follow issues and economic policies rather than race. Socialist wealth redistribution, higher corporate and capital gains tax, and the concept of a two tier class healthcare system are just some of the things i don't agree with.
I vote based on who i think will help the country. Yes, i can vote for Obama and save maybe a couple hundred on taxes next year but that couple hundred saved will come from the companies pockets and will eventually lead to downsizing due to higher corporate taxes.
Btw, I'm not white nor am i rich. I also live in the most liberal city in the US, San Francisco. Next time when you rant about politics. How about actually including something on politics.
The last anonymous asks you to write about politics but don't bother doing it himself. Too bad, I'm sure it would have been fun to read.
But anyway, I just wanted to signal you that your readers are from broader horizons that you think. Hey, i may be every republican's (and most democrats') nightmare. An anarchist, marxist, internationalist, violently atheist, possibly feminist, routinely nihilist, sexually undefined french student. And I eat babies.
Oh, I just read "family honor".
Good story, some incoherences, but I will remember it, and that is rare.
What I wanted to say is that you don't have to search very far to understand why republicans and racists like your stories. This one seems to reveal explicitely your thoughts, trough the sister, about what happens in the story. And that's not what i would call a progressive point of view.
The theory of natural born criminals belongs to the 19th century. Only extreme reactionnaries still take it for truth. See wikipedia for cesare lombroso. He died a one hundred years ago.
Every criminal, slut, every lesbian, every brother in the world is a social construction. The refutation of this serves only to justify the dominated state of being in the old systems of beliefs like christianism and other monotheisms, racism and sexism, neo- and classical liberalism (in the european sense of the term, wich i use here in lack of a universal term, it includes conservatives). If the authority upon our desires is not human, their repression is all the more justified as the eternal (that means archaic) quest for one's humanity, as the struggle of the spirit to free itself from the beastial flesh.
No wonder it pleases reactionnaries. I'm just surprised that no priest wrote you its congratulations.
Less seriously, and as they once said : "no more fortune, no more destiny", and no more room for men, white, straight, or god supremacy.
Shannon, just wanted to drop a note that says i'm with you a hundred percent with Obama!!! It's time for Change! I've been an Obama fan way before he ran for presidency because of the books he wrote especially "The Audacity of Hope"!
Well this is a first time comment for me, but I wanted you to know you aren't alone! I'm a 22 year old girl (woman I guess) who has been reading this site since before I should have been (legally and all) and enjoying your stories. I am an independent, but I voted today for Barack Obama. Woo early voting! Not that being against him is neccesarily racist, but it does seem like a lot of racist, anti-choice people read your stuff. Anyway, we aren't all like that! Figured I'd let you know.
Shannon.
You just took the words out of my mouth.
-hug-
I'll see ya on yahoo sometime.
-forgeknight.
P.S. I really need to get off my lazy ass and officially sign up here.
Just a quick fact check of FactCheck.org:
The text of the bill Obama supported: http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/fulltext.asp?DocName=09300SB0099lv&SessionID=3&GA=93&DocTypeID=SB&DocNum=0099&print=true
Note the bill requires the state to use "medically accurate" and "factual" information in their education programs.
The State chose the curriculum of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States. That curriculum is located at http://www.siecus.org/_data/global/images/guidelines.pdf
In their curriculum for children ages 5 - 8, they teach the following:
• A boy/man has nipples, a penis, a scrotum, and testicles.
• A girl/woman has breasts, nipples, a vulva, a clitoris, a vagina, a uterus, and ovaries.
• Both boys and girls have body parts that feel good when touched.• Some people are heterosexual, which means they can be attracted to and fall in love with someone
of another gender.
• Some people are homosexual, which means they can be attracted to and fall in love with someone
of the same gender.
• Homosexual men and women are also known as gay men and lesbians.
Now, I personally think kids need to know this stuff, and a national panel of experts believe it is appropriate - I don't question them.
The ad you linked on your site is factually acurate. The "fact check" is not.
I don't know why Obama would deny this... it's important that children know this stuff, and anyone who thinks they don't need to know is naive.
