A Solemn Promise

Jason made an interesting comment to my last post:
How about an alternative: if Obama becomes President, we get a picture [of you]?
Encourages us to go actually volenteer and do more than just vote? :).
I like that! I like all the comments, and always do, but Jason's suggestion has really inspired me. So, here we go: if the 44th president of the United States ends up being Barack Obama, I will post a picture of myself to this blog. And I'll tell you what else: the day he becomes the Democratic nominee (or the day it becomes clear he will become the nominee) I'll post all the drafts of Trailer Trash Teen Chapter 12 I've written so far for your reading pleasure. Trust me, it'll be a lot to read... some good, some bad, but all pretty hot, I think...! :P

Now it's in your best interest to support Obama. So... go and support him!!! Texas? Ohio? Maryland? I'm looking at you!!! :P

I will support Obama. I really hope it isn't Hillary/Mccain. I am still pissed that Ron Paul isn't an option, I think we need someone serious economic policy reform. Now I have to change back to Democrat:-/

Obama is my choice. Not because of your offer to post a pic, but that DOES sweeten the pot a bit.

To tell you the truth, I was an Edwards supporter. Bummed me out when he dropped out. I still hope he gets the nod for Attorney General by whoever becomes the next President. At least then we will still get to see some ass-kicking, since he would use the full force of the Justice Department to weed out the scum from 8 years of Bush depravity. And prosecute those deserving of it.

Barack Obama!

YES WE CAN!

Keep saying it over and over, and it WILL become reality!

Peace.

Out.

What if he's Vice President? That's gotta be worth something, right? I mean, it's technically an important position.

A deal like that's worth voting TWICE! :-)

I am fervently hoping Obama will be our next President. I was disappointed he didn't do better in Oklahoma. I think he represents real change and says a lot for the growth of our country when we elect a black man with a muslim name. Your offer to post the pic and the stories as Ken said will sweeten the pot his victory will make.

You know how you really can't measure a person until you get to feel the intangibles that you can't get though a TV? I met Obama back when he ran for his state senator position. The man is driven and his personality/charisma comes off of him in waves. I agree with many of the positions and beliefs he holds, and I also realize his wife can keep him in check far better than we think.

I now live in WI and am already doing volunteer work here for his primary coming up next week. He WILL take WI and with the other wins coming in he will become the next president, barring shenanigans at the convention. McCain and Huckabee cannot hold up under the sheer charisma and intelligence of this man.

Here's to hoping that he will use the amazing gifts he has to full use in the White house.

I'm for McCain. I have been from the very start. He has the most integrity and experience. Also we need a military man to fight this war on terror.
