Mass Suicide
I'm going to be live-blogging the election today. What I mean by that is that I'm going to update this site a few times today, but only to talk about the election! If you don't care about such things, I'm sorry!!!
Anyway, if the Dems don't take the House there's going to be mass suicide, according to a leading Washington political analyst. I couldn't agree more. I'm so nervous that I've barely slept and I'm up at 6:45am blogging about politics on my porn site!!! Argh.

I believe strongly that this election is extremely important yet I'm cynical about whether or not it will matter. I have a bad feeling that the Dems won't be able to do much more than gain seats in both chambers. My heart is hoping that they at least take the House but my mind is saying, "Slow down, there! Do you really think that Rove and Co. would give up power so easily?! Over something so frivolous as an election?!? Hah, naive girl!"
I mean, we'll see! I'll be live-blogging the election tomorrow night (though I'll be inbetween my bedroom where the computer is and the living room where the TV and The Daily Show is!!)...

I don't beleive that their are people in our country that can back the attitude that we don't support our military or their commander-n-chief, I am not saying he right or wrong but he is the president. It seem like idiots like yourself and others are bound to take this great country down the same path that Rome traveled.
I supported Wild Bill because of his office, but the liberal crap in this country haven't given the president a chance. It makes me wonder why I fought for your sorry ass!
I live in England and I can't believe that there are Americans who are so misguidedly patriotic that you follow the President on any chosen course without question.
It is not betraying your military to question the political judgment over Iraq. The military do as they are told. It is the likes of the neo conservatives who have decided on this lunatic path to 'democratise' the middle east who should be held to account.
The only way America will travel the road to ruin that Rome went is if its leaders continue to show the same arrogance that the Roman Emperors did...and that will happen if well meaning, but misguided patriots like you, Anonymous, continue to back the President regardless of what he does. He is not a God..he is a human being and, frankly, a pretty dumb one at that.

couldn't have said it any better AB. It's amazing how the political machines can convince people to believe that "support our troops" means "blindly support the president".
Anon... I feel like I am supporting the troops by demanding that the office of the president not waste the good lives of young men and women by starting needless wars.
Lastly... I can never help but laugh when I hear people complaining about biased "liberal media" but totally leaving out the wonderful fox network "news" shows. Media is slanted, that is for sure, but it's slanted both ways
Okay, so here's the thing. For one thing, in the early 20th century england tried to have their go in Iraq and fucked it up. Now we have a modern Iraq with misguided ideas. You are worried about wasting the good lives of young men and women by starting needless wars. Our war may have saved more lives than it has lost. We ousted a murderer of more lives than you can count and now we are trying to keep similar characters from gaining control. You, however, sit in your room on your computer and judge. You value the lives of your own people so much that you are blind to what's happening to others. If any of these militious groups take hold there will be an amount of death in Iraq that you can't comprehend. If we win the war and set up a stable government, the world will never know how much we did. They will call this war a waste of lives. If we lose this war it will also be called a waste of lives but there will be more death. So either way republicans take the blame and democrats say "I told you so", but at least we tried rather than shouting from our pedestals.
