Where no Senator has gone before
I thought this sort of thing only happened in bad Internet sex stories.
In "Jeri Ryan Sex Scandal Rocks Illinois Senate Race", we learn that the Star Trek: Voyager star's ex-husband, a candidate for the U.S. Senate, apparently had a thing for taking her to underground sex clubs.

I think the most shocking thing about this story is that a TV personality divorces a politician but it takes years for this information to come out - you'd think somebody would have dug it up before. Its also interesting that the article doesn't suggest he denied that it all happened that way.
Correction: Jack Ryan isn't a current Senator, just someone who was vying for the seat. (Probably why this information didn't come out before.) He's since dropped out of the race due to these allegations.
