SUMMARY: Jim helps his widowed neighbor, Christine, clean up her house. In the process he makes a startling discovery which leads to... COMMENTARY: I really enjoyed this story. It is a bit unpolished, but I still found it to be a fun read. The author does a very nice job setting up the story and situating the characters in their surroundings, before turning up the heat. On the down side, there are a number of typographical errors. The action seemed to flow just a bit too seamlessly. It wasn't that I didn't enjoy the story, but there was this nagging voice in the back of my head saying (as I was reading the story) that the plot's development had too many ups and not enough downs. Well, considering the genre, it isn't necessary for it to have downs, but the characters should have at least had a few more road blocks to get through. Shouldn't they? Anyhow, I enjoyed it a lot. I realize that I am repeating myself, but I want to emphasize that despite the fact that I found the story to be unpolished I still enjoyed it quite a bit. Possibly because I usually enjoy well written stories involving older women and younger men. OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: 8.0 (out of 10)
SUBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: Very Good LINK(S):
