Commentary |
I think the author does a good job with the plot and with the pacing of the story. I like the way the author uses the element of magic, for the most part. The story reminds me of something Anne Rice might write. There is a group in it that resembles the Talamasca. The manner in which most of this story is told seems cold and detached. There are many scenes that are reasonably well written, but suffer because they lack life. There are a few grammatical and spelling errors. The author over uses and misuses the word 'whilst'. The story has a cliffhanger ending. The author has promised to write a sequel, but it will take him a few months. |
