Commentary |
I thought this was a very well written story. It does not
have an "And They Lived Happily Ever After" ending. It
did not seem like rape or pedophilia, despite what some
courts might say. This story is well paced. John shows some hesitation. The sex takes up only a fraction of the text. The purpose of the story was to tell about a sexual encounter between the narrator and a sixteen-year-old neighbor, but there is more to this story than just that. It would have been nice if the narrator could have worked in a little bit more about his own life. I think it would have helped to balance the story out a little more. |
