Commentary

I like the way this story begins. I do not like the way it ends. I am disappointed that Jeanine, a friend of Barry, only made a brief appearance in the story. When she was first introduced I thought she was there to do more than just help set the mood. Alas, she was not.

This is a well written story, but I cannot believe that it is love that motivated Barry to fall for Crystal. It was lust. Maybe the author did not mean for it to be love. Even if that is the case, I think there was too much of this story spent in the strip bar.

I did not care for the way the author resolved Barry's dilemma. I would much rather have seen him jumping in the sack with his friend Jeanine, or even his other friend, Ted.
