Commentary |
The story centers around Penny and is more about her life
than it is about her relationship with another woman. The
narration is beautifully done. Lynn is not as much a fleshed
out character as she is a convenient one. I like the build-up in this story. The author does a lovely job of showing how badly Penny needed to be HANDled the way Lynn HANDles her. [Cough, cough.] I am not completely satisfied with the ending. It seems to be an attempt to wrap things up, neatly. I do not think the story needs it. I do not care for the ending, but at the same time I do not feel that it takes too much away from the story. |
