Summary |
Based on the TV show Law and Order. Luther Stone did time in Attica for a drug conviction. Luther attempts to use Tommy to destroy Claire's life. |
Commentary |
This was a very well written story. I watch Law and Order
from time to time and this story was a good replica of it.
The main characters were fleshed out enough that you
could understand their motivations. It was not rushed. The
sex did serve a function and it was not to entertain. Some of the actions by the main characters did require some suspension of disbelief. Claire's decision to strip and masturbate for Luther did not seem real intelligent. It was also a little confusing at the end when she stabs Tommy with a pair of scissors. I assumed that he was dead, as does she, but then he turns up again and there is no mention of wounds. None of the male characters were drawn in a very positive light. That is just an observation. I am not saying that they should have been. This was an intelligently written story. It has a happy ending, but is not a light story. |
