SUMMARY: During the summer after she graduates from high school, Kelly learns what the fuss is all about; thanks to Tony, a neighbor who has just graduated from college. COMMENTARY: This is a fun story, even though there aren't any twists in the plot. Actually, that is exactly what I like about it; that it is simple. At the same time it is arousing and it also seems realistic. I suppose that the plot is a bit clichéd, but the author has done a very nice job with it. On top of that, if I were going to pick on stories for not being completely original, then I would have to pick on most of the stories that I review. Besides, one of the things that I enjoy the most is when an author can push my buttons in certain ways, even when it is rather obvious in which direction she is taking the story. OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: 8.5 (out of 10)
SUBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: Very Good LINK(S):
