Commentary |
I enjoyed this story. It seems to have two
things working for it, in my book. Number one
is the fact that I found it arousing. The idea of
losing my virginity to my best friend's mother,
at the age of 13 sounds appealing. That
does not mean that it gives me warm fuzzies
though, just that I find it sexually exciting. The other thing that this story has working for it is humor. Sarah justifies their relationship by saying that (a) she is teaching him about "God's Great Plan", and (b) she has needs that her husband will not fulfill. Some Christian fundamentalists might feel that their toes got stepped on in the process, but I don't think that this story is too insensitive. It does not suggest scrapping everything and starting over from scratch. It does suggest that one should be more considerate of the needs of others as well as open to new ideas. While I enjoyed this story and felt that it was both arousing and well written, I still can't help but feel that there was something missing. Possibly it was some inconsistencies in Sarah's personality. I'm not sure. Anyhow, I gave this story a Very Good, which is the equivalent of putting it on my B list. If the plot sounds like one that particularly interests you or you have a lot of time on your hands, then I recommend this story, otherwise I would read something that I gave an Excellent or an Outstanding. I coded this story Pedo because Jason is only 13. |
