Commentary |
I searched high and low, but could not find
any short comings in this story. Both of the
main characters seem real to me. For that
matter, so does the majority of the
supporting cast. The plot is very nicely
paced. The story develops as it proceeds.
Its appeal is not based solely in how the
author sets it up, but all so in how the
author executes it. What I really liked was the interaction between Miranda and Rob, both verbal and nonverbal. I think the author does a wonderful job of clueing in the reader as to how both of them are feeling and thinking. This is not a science-fiction story. If you want to know what the device is, then read the story. You will not be disappointed. |
