Story Information

This is my very first venture into the world of writing. As you can see, it is still in progress. This series is based upon some truths in my life. The main character of Chris is *NOT* me. However, there are things about Chris that reflect me. I wrestled in high school. I went to a huge high school that was predominantly Asian. The people in the story are representations of friends and acquaintances. Obviously not everything written was something that happened. But there were a lot of things that did happen to them that parallel my story.

I plan to have the first book of the series finished before the end of this year (2004). I hope to finish book two and three by the end of next year (2005). Book four should be finished by the early to mid 2006.

This story came to me in the middle of writing Book One of Rising Wind. I don't know what the inspiration was to write this. All I know is that one night all of a sudden, the story came to me while watching tv. And it wouldn't let me rest until I finished it. I usually take a pretty long time to write a story, but this short took me only a few days to finish.

Although it was quick to write, it was one of the hardest things for me to write. I wanted to capture the essence of a couple so madly in love. The emotions were the most important thing to me. And I hope that it shows evidently to you, the reader.

This is not a true story that I know of. It could very well happen to people. But I didn't know of a couple like this in my life.
