Trouble at SuicideGirls
Over at Wired, Randy Dotinga has the story of a revolt of sorts on the popular site SuicideGirls. It appears that 30 of the featured models on the site have quit, claiming that the site's female empowerment image in porn is just that: only an image: "SuicideGirls Gone AWOL":
The woman-friendly reputation of SuicideGirls is being battered. Since its creation in 2001, media outlets have lauded the company's focus on goth, indie and punk models who aren't necessarily big-busted and bikini-waxed.

Porn is porn is porn. The business is selling pictures of women for the implicit purpose of sexual arousal. Anyone who thought otherwise was kidding himself.
