*** Backyard Adventures ***

There are just three "Backyard Adventures" plus a couple of reviews to go with them. They are all very short - two, three pages. Mostly voyeur...Come on now, what else can you do as a kid !?

"Finding My Baseball Cards" (MF+ oral voy) revolves around an adolescent who is searching for his baseball cards. He left them over at a friends house and after talking to the friend's mother sneaks into the house to find them. He finds a lot more than his baseball cards. Celeste reviewed "Finding My Baseball Cards" and gave it pretty good marks. You can read her review here.

I will agree with Dart that "In the Backyards" (mf voy) is a "somewhat strange story." You can read his review here. It begins with a young adolescent copping a good, long peek at a naked teenager while he's climbing in a tree. The young adolescent is back the next day to do a little more spying...The rest is what makes the story strange but only because this is 2002 and not 1958.

The final "Backyard Adventure" is "The Shower" (mf voy). A teenage boy spends the night at a friend's house. The next morning he finds a hole in the wall and spies on the guy's sister while she's drying after a shower.
