For those of you TimeStop fans that were teased with no satisfaction by The Girl, The Goldwatch and Everything or annoyed by The Twilight Zone - A Kind Of Stopwatch. Or endlessly disappointed by Kayla Nicole Vol 15 TimePiece and Twilight Pink. Then you will be entertain with this movie. It goes in the direction you wanted these other movies to go without having to scream at the TV set.
Now take into consideration that this is a japanese porn movie first and foremost. So there are going to be technical glitches if you are viewing this movie from a technical standpoint. One minor case of a blink that was quickly corrected when our hero starts closing the eyelids of the people timestopped . As for the background with minor movements or off-screen sounds. That cannot be helped in anyway without ruining the budget. All of the movies mentioned above, except the Twilight Zone, had these technical glitches yet they were alright for what they offered in terms of a TimeStop movie. Mosaics, scene music and movie graphics ala the old Batman TV series are japanese staples in most of their porn movies. And in this movie they made the effort to maintain continuity and story plot. When our hero had a device or person able to move he used the remote first to give the idea that they were released from the TimeStop. All in all the technical glitches should not ruin the movie viewing. I have well over 800 movies on DVD and I have learned to seperate movie watching and movie critiquing.
The actors and actresses in this movie are real people. Not like in some other movies where the guy goes into a restaurant and the waitress is a size 55GGG wearing 6 inch whore heels and a napkin that is supposed to be her uniform. No, real people, some of the ladies are average, some are above. They wear real clothing and underwear not the "American Porn" line of quick access instant off clothing. If you like stockings and panty hose, this could pique your interest too.
Now from a movie viewing standpoint, I loved this movie. A lot of what happens in this movie could have been derived from the BEAddventures of Randy and Martin with the Remote Control. When our hero, a slovenly mid-level professional schmuck, gets the device he accidently finds out what it does and gets caught in the middle of an act when time resumes. Then quickly starts going dark-side by stopping time when something would tickle his fancy and he winds up tickling the fancy. The scenes in the park are the best examples of that. When he goes into an office setting for a business meeting, he goes on a rampage in the office when one office lady got him going. No one is exempt from this, male or female. He used objects on the office workers as well as himself and other people. In the scene of the small restaurant, our hero goes on the rampage again. Stripping, playing around with the device and in one case pranking one female customer by spiking her dessert.
All in all I was very pleased and entertained by this movie. I was not expecting a high budget glossed over Oscar winner. I was expecting a decent japanese porn movie involving TimeStop, sex, stripping and pranking. This movie was well worth the price I paid for it and I look forward to part 2 when it comes out.
