explicit sexuality between females.
CHAPTER I
Taking a long sip from her coffee, Jessica leaned back in her
chair, her hands nervously
trembling as the switchboard of her office phone lit up. Outside
her window, half a dozen
reporters were standing at the front entrance to her building,
waiting for a statement from the
accused accomplice, named by the prime suspect herself. Her name
and face were all over the
news for her role as alleged accomplice in the crime, but at the
same time her novels were flying
from the store shelves like hot cakes. It had been a very strange
week.
Slowly, Jessica lifted her head from her desk, turning towards
the door just in time to hear a quiet
knock from the other side.
"Yes?" she asked, nervously.
"It's Gayle," came the voice.
"Come... come in."
Jessica turned the knob and watched as the door creaked open and
her new defense attorney made
her entrance, carrying a stack of folders in her hands.
"Hi," she began, trying to sound calm, "is
everything all right? Did I catch you at a bad moment?"
Jessica managed a smile.
"I think I've been in a perpetual 'bad moment' for the last
week, Gayle, but I'm okay."
She nodded, setting the papers down on her desk and taking a
seat. Gayle had short blonde hair,
tied up in a bun behind her head, and she wore an expensive white
suit with a matching skirt. A
thick pair of red framed glasses rested on her face as she looked
up at Jessica with a supportive
smile.
"Have you talked to anyone since the hearing?"
"No," Jessica replied, reaching for her coffee.
"That's probably best for now, at least until we take the
stand tomorrow."
Jessica nearly spilled her coffee upon hearing the words.
"I have to take the stand now?"
Gayle nodded, shifting her glasses.
"Just so we can straighten things out. You are innocent, of
course, so you have nothing to worry
about."
"What am I charged with again, Gayle?"
"Conspiracy to commit murder," she replied. "But
it won't stick. She's just trying to bring you down
with her, Jessica, don't worry."
Jessica ran a jittery hand through her long brunette hair,
setting it on her desk.
"Oh, I'm fine," she stated, laboring with a smile.
Gently, Gayle raised her hand and rested it on top of Jessica's,
smiling back.
"It'll be all right, Jess. After all, you've got me to
represent you."
Jessica sighed, blowing a lock out hair out of her face.
"Thank you, Gayle. I'm glad you're here for me."
Gayle peered at her watch, pulling her hand away and standing
from her seat.
"I've got to get back to my office and file some papers, but
maybe we could get together later and
grab a cup of..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Gayle looked behind Jessica
to see an empty pot, and a
small pool of coffee on the counter, dripping off the side onto
the floor.
"...Well, maybe something other than coffee," she
continued. "You can reach me on my cell if you
need me."
"Thanks, Gayle."
"Well, have a nice evening then, Jess. Goodnight."
"Goodnight," Jessica smiled, shifting in her chair
nervously.
Gayle made her way towards the door, closing it behind her and
leaving Jessica alone in her office
once more. After a deep breath, she rested her head on her desk
once more.
...
Hours later, Jessica jumped in her seat, quickly rising from what
had been her first decent rest in
days. Slowly, she rose from her chair and peered out the window
towards street level, where an
even larger group of reporters had gathered, still waiting to
catch her leaving. Jessica quickly
realized that her car was probably swarming with paparazzi in the
parking lot as well, as she held
her forehead in her hand.
Just when she thought she would have to brave the storm of people
waiting for her, Jessica jumped
with fright a second time as she heard her cell phone ring from
inside her pocket. She quickly
reached for it, looking to see who the call was from.
"Please don't tell me someone from the press has got this
number," she whispered to herself,
lifting the receiver to her ear and answering. "Hhh...
hello?"
"Hello? Miss Reed, are you there?"
"Speaking," she replied.
"Hi, it's Nicole... from the college," came the soft
voice. "We talked about my helping you with
some of your research last week, remember?"
Jessica smirked.
"Oh, yes, of course. Listen, Nicole, a little thing has come
up for me this week and I don't think I'll
be able to..."
"I can help you get out."
Jessica paused in her speech, narrowing her eyes.
"Pardon?"
"Out of your office," Nicole replied. "There's
reporters crawling all over it, and your car too, I think.
I can help you get out without being seen."
"And just how would you be able to do that?" Jessica
asked, skeptical at first.
"I'm actually parked in my car right by one of the staff
entrances in the back. There's no one
around."
"Where?"
"Around the southeast side of the building, I think. There's
a couple of garbage containers out here,
but other than that it's clear."
Jessica looked out the window once more, eyeing the swarm of
media.
"Are you sure you want to get yourself involved with this,
Nicole? This isn't exactly a traffic
violation I'm caught up in."
"Anything for my favorite writer," she replied,
cheerfully.
There was a pause as Jessica paced around her office, weighing
her options carefully. After a long
few moments, she finally brought her phone back up to her ear.
"Okay, Nicole, I'll be there. But we'll have to get out of
here quickly, before we're seen."
"Of course," Nicole stated, enthusiastically.
"I'll be down in two minutes then," Jessica grinned.
"Be ready."
Grabbing her coat, Jessica quickly shut off the lights and
unplugged her office phone before closing
the door behind her. It was going to be a long night.
...
CHAPTER II
Stepping off of the elevator on the second floor, Jessica peered
down the long deserted hallway
towards the exit sign. The entire floor seemed empty, and the
hallway itself was shrouded in
darkness as she made her way towards the staircase. Placing her
cell phone back into her pocket,
Jessica quietly opened the door and shut it behind her.
Once downstairs, she quickly turned towards the janitor's room,
opening the door to see the
building's staff entrance across the darkened room. Silently,
Jessica walked up to the door,
placing her ear up against it, half expecting a mob of reporters
to be waiting on the other side, or at
least the quiet hum of Nicole's engine. After waiting for a few
more moments, Jessica took in a
deep breath and opened the door, peering down at the passenger
side of a parked car with no one
else but the driver in sight.
Quickly, Jessica reached for the door, hearing the electronic
click of the door unlocking before
opening it and getting in. A nervous, but excited Nicole sat
restlessly in the driver's seat, starting
up the car almost immediately.
"Oh my god, I can't believe I'm in a getaway car with Miss
Jessica Reed, this is great!"
Jessica buckled her seat belt and tucked down in her seat,
noticing a small mass of people
approaching the car in the rear view mirror.
"I'll sign your autograph later," she stated, "but
I think it would be better if we got out of here, right
now!"
"Oh, right! I'm sorry. Let's go."
Fumbling for the gearshift, Nicole quickly put the car into drive
and pulled out of the parking lot, putting
enough distance between them and the flock of reporters in a few
seconds. Looking up from her
crouched position, Jessica finally sat up straight and tried her
best to fix her hair as she peered
at her young savior.
"Nicole, I presume."
"That's me," she smiled. "Nice to meet you, Miss
Reed."
"Just Jessica is fine, Nicole."
"Oh," she stated, "then you can call me Nikki if
you want. Everyone does."
Jessica nodded, turning her attention to Nicole's attire for a
moment.
She was wearing a light blue tank top, with a worn jean jacket
overtop, as well as a pair of brownish
khaki pants and work boots. Her hair had the hue of a great
orange wildfire, curled quite intricately
and set with numerous braids. Nicole's bright blue eyes seemed to
dart all over the road as her
car raced through the streets, with no particular destination in
mind.
"Nikki, did you plan on telling me where we're going?"
Jessica asked, a little nervous about the
car's speed.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was going to take us to a nice little cafe
near Walnut street. I used to work there,
and I know most of the staff, so they won't tell anyone that
we're there."
Jessica smiled.
"Well, it has been a while since I've eaten. I suppose
that's as good a place as any."
"Great," Nicole grinned, shifting into a higher gear
before turning a sharp corner.
The two made it to the restaurant in record time, thanks to the
rather extreme driving habits of
Nicole, and by the time Jessica set her foot back on still
ground, she was more than relieved that
they hadn't been stopped by the police for speeding, or worse.
"Ever drive in the Indy 500, Nikki?" Jessica asked,
smirking.
"Huh?" Nicole asked, stepping out of her car with a
confused look on her face.
"Never mind," Jessica grinned. "Let's just get
inside, before I'm seen."
Nodding, Nicole made her way onto the sidewalk with Jessica as
the two walked into the cafe. The
sign wasn't familiar, but Jessica was quickly able to tell where
they were as she noticed the
entrance to Tranquil Gardens park only blocks away.
Inside, the cafe was empty, with only one waitress pacing back
and forth behind the counter and
two cooks working the kitchen in the back. Jessica raised her
coat higher on her shoulders, subtly
trying to cover her face as Nicole stepped ahead of her and
called to the waitress.
"Diane," Nicole sounded, in a whisper.
The waitress stopped in her tracks, jumping over the counter and
walking up to the two visitors
quickly. She was in plain clothes and had a bored look on her
face.
"Nikki," she answered, "what are you doing here at
this hour. Shouldn't you be studying or
something?"
"I'm here with someone."
Diane peered over Nicole's shoulder, eyeing a nervous Jessica as
she stood impatiently.
"Oh, and who might that... Reed? Is that Jessica Reed behind
you?"
"Yes," Nicole stated, still whispering. "But keep
it down. We don't want anyone to know we're
here."
Diane lowered her head slightly, whispering back.
"What did you do, bust her out of prison or something?"
"No, no. She hasn't been convicted yet, and she won't be for
that matter. We just
need a place where we can sit and talk for a while."
Diane turned towards the booths.
"Sure, just pick any one of the booths here. I recommend one
at the the far end, just in case
someone decides to walk in."
"Right, thanks, Diane," Nicole replied, waiting for
Jessica to step forward.
As she passed, Diane quickly took her place alongside Jessica and
grinned happily as they walked
together.
"Miss Reed, my name is Diane; I'm a big fan. I really loved
your book, 'Luna Lametatio', about that
waitress who rose up from the oppression and terrible treatment
dealt by her employers, only to
return after six years of secret training to single handedly
sabotage their business into
bankruptcy and become a multi-millionaire with her new and
forbidden lover. That novel really
opened my eyes to all of the opportunities that I as a waitress
have, and I think that you captured
the spirit of restaurant workers incredibly well with your
depictions of..."
"Ahem," Nicole interrupted. "I'm sure that Miss
Reed is very tired at the moment, Diane, and she
probably doesn't want to discuss the mechanics of her writing at
present."
Diane stopped walking and gave Nicole a dirty look as Jessica
silently passed both and took a seat
in the far booth.
"Fine," Diane stated, with an annoyed voice. "But
you'd better get her autograph for me before she
leaves or I'll show you just what an angry and oppressed waitress
can do."
Turning her back, Nicole quickly took her seat on the opposite
end of the booth, grinning with her
hands in her pockets.
"I'm sorry about that, Jessica. You must get it all the
time."
Jessica reached for a menu, browsing over the drink list.
"Not as often as you might think," she replied.
"You'd be surprised how often I wasn't recognized
in public before last week."
"Really?" Nicole asked. "Well, I would have
recognized you for sure."
Jessica smiled, keeping her eyes fixed on the menu.
"A big fan, are we?"
"Oh, definitely. I have almost all of your books, and read
them all the time."
"Any favorites?" Jessica asked, looking up for a
moment.
Nicole began to blush, barely returning a gaze.
"Well... I would have to say that my absolute favorite is
'Worlds Apart'. It was the first of your
books that I really connected with on so many levels. Do you
remember what it's about?"
Jessica lowered the menu, still smiling softly.
"How could I forget," she stated, "the tale of
young Candace's journey of discovery, and her
secret, loving relationship with the mysterious Ebony, amidst the
chaos of the world around them."
"They were so different, and yet they were perfect for each
other," Nicole sounded, nervously.
"Yes, they were," Jessica replied.
There was a long pause, and for a moment neither spoke. Nicole
found her heart racing as she
stared into the eyes of her favorite writer and role model,
noticing that she was staring back with
the same whimsical look in her eyes. Just before either could
speak again, the mood was quickly
destroyed by Diane as she made her way to the booth, grinning.
"Can I get you anything, Miss Reed?"
Jessica blinked her eyes, looking up at the chirpy waitress
hovering over her.
"Yes... I'll have a..."
"Let me guess," Diane interrupted. "You want a
Margarita, just like all of your characters usually
like to order in your novels, right?"
"Actually, I'd just like a lemonade, if it's not too much
trouble."
Diane sighed, seemingly annoyed with Jessica's response.
"Is that all anyone ever orders while I'm working?"
"Pardon?" Jessica asked.
"Never mind. I'll be right back with that."
Turning back towards the kitchen, Diane disappeared behind the
counter just as Jessica returned
her gaze onto Nicole.
"So," Nicole began, "what exactly did you want my
help with concerning your research, or are
things different now that there's this whole trial thing
happening?"
"Well, Nikki, even though I've been caught up in this whole
trial business lately, I still don't want to
give up on my latest novel. I'm hoping to publish it before all
of this is over, so that I might still
catch the rush of people who are buying up all of my work."
Nicole smiled, perking up a bit.
"What's your new novel about?"
Jessica peered down at the table, running a finger through her
hair casually.
"As a matter of fact, it's about a college student."
Nicole's eyebrows raised immediately.
"Really? What happens?"
"Well, I'm still working on it plot-wise, but what I need in
terms of research is a few good ideas of
who the main character is... what her life is like, what she
likes to do, what her dreams are, that
sort of thing."
"You want to base a character in one of your novels on
me?" Nicole asked, wide-eyed.
"Not entirely, but I would like to use you as a template I
suppose. If you're all right with that, of
course."
"Definitely," Nicole spouted, enthusiastically.
"This is probably the most incredible thing that's
ever happened to me... oh, I hope that isn't a bad thing though.
I have to say, my life isn't exactly
full of excitement on a daily basis."
"With the way you drive, I find that hard to believe,"
Jessica grinned.
The two smiled at each other once more as Diane returned with
Jessica's lemonade, muttering to
herself upon turning back towards the kitchen. Just as Jessica
lifted her glass to take a sip, Nicole
pressed her fingers into the booth's seat tightly and took in a
deep breath.
"May I... ask you a question, Miss Reed... Jessica, I
mean."
"Yes," she replied, calmly setting down her glass.
"Are you... I mean, the characters in your stories, they're
usually... I was wondering if you were..."
"If I'm gay?" Jessica said, finishing her sentence.
Nicole nodded.
"Not that it would make any difference with my love of your
writing, but I've always wondered, ever
since I first read your work."
Jessica sighed, taking another sip from her lemonade.
"I haven't exactly announced it at a press conference or a
book signing, I guess, but..."
"You are?"
Jessica nodded.
"Is that so much of a shocker, Nikki?" she stated.
Nicole turned completely red, fiddling nervously with her hair.
"Wow, I... don't know what to say."
"What about you, Nikki?"
"Me?" she gulped.
"Ya," Jessica continued, "getting back to our
research, what goes on in the college student's
average day?"
Nicole let out a deep breath, trying to calm herself.
"Well, I guess I do a lot of studying and schoolwork, but in
terms of a personal life I try to keep my
place clean, and get out whenever I can."
"May I ask where you live?"
"I live in an apartment a few blocks away from the college
actually. I'm not much of a dorm person,
and I enjoy the space."
"Do you share the apartment with anyone?" Jessica
asked.
"Mmm hmm. I have a room mate, but she's away on a class trip
in Europe."
"So you have the place to yourself then?"
"Pretty much," Nicole smiled.
Jessica took a final sip from her lemonade, finishing it off.
"You'll have to give me the grand tour sometime, just so I
can get an idea of what a college
student's apartment is like."
There was a pause, before Nicole managed to find the courage to
reply.
"Well... if you'd like, I could show you around."
Jessica smiled softly, a little nervous herself but slightly more
adept at concealing it.
"Sure," she replied, calmly.
"How about tonight?" Nicole added, quickly turning the
tables.
Immediately, Jessica felt the nervousness she knew she had caused
in Nicole spill over onto her
instead. Nicole's smile seemed to widen as she watched her
favorite writer puzzle over what to
say.
"Tonight... might not be the best time, Nikki; I have to
take the stand tomorrow and I'd like to be
prepared. Tomorrow evening might work though, if you're
free."
"I should be," Nicole replied, staring at the ceiling
for a moment.
"As a matter of fact, I might be able to get you a seat in
the courtroom tomorrow, if you'd like to
attend."
Nicole smiled happily.
"Of course, I'd love to be there."
Jessica nodded, rising from her seat and setting down some change
for the lemonade.
"Great, just give me a call tomorrow morning and I'll see
what I can do."
Nicole stood, walking up next to Jessica.
"Okay, tomorrow then. Thanks so much for everything,
Jessica."
"And thank you for pulling me out of that building,
Nikki," Jessica replied. "I won't forget it."
"Do you need a ride?" Nicole asked.
"I'll be okay, thanks. It's not too far back to my office,
and I'm sure that all of those reporters have
abandoned my car by now. I could use the walk anyway. Bye,
Nikki."
"Bye," Nicole smiled, waving as Jessica made her way
across the cafe and out the door.
As soon as it closed behind her, Diane flew through the kitchen
doors, peering around at the now
empty cafe and the only, non-famous occupant left.
"Where'd she go? She left already?!"
Nicole nodded slowly.
"She just walked out the door, Diane, I'm sorry."
Scowling, Diane turned towards Nicole with narrowed eyes and a
very displeased look on her face.
"Where's my autograph?" she hissed.
Covering her face with one hand, Nicole sighed as Diane turned
and ran out of the cafe, screaming
for a long gone Jessica Reed to come back. With a soft smile,
Nicole sat back down in the booth
and stared out the window at the night sky, already excited about
seeing her again.
"Until tomorrow, Miss Reed," she whispered to herself.
...
CHAPTER III
The next morning, Jessica found herself trapped back in her
office once more, waiting for Gayle to
arrive for a quick talk before they were due in court. Her
entrance was met by another mob of
reporters, as always, but Jessica's bigger concern was her
appointment with the witness stand.
After five minutes, and two pots of coffee, Gayle's footsteps
sounded just beyond the office door, and
she entered, smiling.
"Good morning, Jess. Are we all ready for today?"
Jessica nodded, nervously.
"So, what's going to happen exactly?"
"Well, we're being tried separately from the accused, as you
know, and now we're going to be
given the chance to present our defense. Normally we wouldn't put
you on the stand though, as we
will have to face cross-examination."
"But everything will be okay?" Jessica asked, ready to
start biting her manicured nails.
Gayle nodded, stepping closer and taking Jessica's trembling
hands into her own.
"I promise," she whispered, looking deeply into her
client's eyes.
For a brief moment, Jessica was silent as she gazed into Gayle's
eyes, nervously. The two found
themselves closer together, as Gayle's glasses slid slowly down
her nose and her warm breath
could be felt on Jessica's neck.
"Gayle... I..."
Without giving Jessica the time to finish her sentence, Gayle
leaned forward, slowly bringing her
lips to Jessica's with a soft kiss. Immediately, after realizing
her actions, Gayle backed away and
turned completely red, dropping her glasses from her face and
barely managing to catch them.
"I'm sorry, Jessica, I... don't know why I did that. I'm
sorry..."
Jessica felt a surge of excitement course through her as she
struggled to reply. The room's
temperature seemed to instantly double, whether as a result of
the kiss or the two pots of coffee,
or both.
"What time do we have to be... in court?" Jessica
asked, in a whisper.
"Well, we actually have to... I mean, we should leave in
about..."
As Gayle struggled with her words, Jessica's mind seemed to drift
for a moment, focusing purely on
her instincts and desires as she watched herself lean forward
with a second kiss, surprising
herself just as much as Gayle when their lips met.
Their second kiss lasted for a much longer time, and when they
finally parted, Gayle was
speechless. At the same time, Jessica felt an even greater surge
of ecstasy wash over her,
entrancing her senses with their first taste of arousal in
months. The feeling almost drove her over
the edge, narrowly subsiding to Jessica's greater anxieties.
"How about... tonight?" she sounded, softly.
"Tonight?" Gayle asked, fumbling with her glasses.
"We could talk about this tonight, after today's
proceedings."
"You're... you're right, Jess. Tonight... I mean, after
today so that we can remain focused on more
important matters, for the time being... I think we should get
going right now, in fact."
Nodding, Jessica stepped past Gayle and grabbed her coat, opening
the door for the two. Quickly
shifting her glasses, Gayle retrieved a few papers in one hand
and made her way to the door,
walking out along with Jessica. As the two made their way towards
the elevator, Jessica felt her
hand meet with Gayle's in a firm embrace. The two seemed to smile
softly as the elevator doors
closed for them both, leaving a strange and wonderful excitement
lingering in the air behind them
as they made their exit from the office building.
...
It was already approaching the late afternoon by the time Jessica
was called to the stand for her
testimony. The courtroom was packed wall to wall with people, and
even though she had turned
around several times during the proceedings, Jessica still didn't
see any sign of Nicole among the
crowd.
Nervously, she took the stand, swearing in and taking her seat
next to a very grim looking judge,
as they all seemed to be. Slowly, after quickly shaking off the
restless thoughts coursing through
her head, Gayle stood from her seat and made her way towards
Jessica.
"Miss Reed," she began, in a dignified tone,
"Please describe your relationship with miss Patricia
Andrews."
"Well, we were good friends," Jessica replied,
nervously.
"Were the two of you involved romantically?"
Jessica turned red for a moment.
"Yes."
"Why did you separate?" Gayle continued.
Jessica looked around the room, still unable to see Nicole, as
she took in a deep breath.
"Because I couldn't stand having an affair with someone who
was engaged," she stated.
"So it was you who ended the relationship, Miss Reed?"
"Yes, it was tearing me apart," Jessica said, looking
down for a moment.
"Did Miss Andrews explain the details of her engagement to
you?"
"She said that after the marriage, she was promised half of
Mr. Garner's estate, and that she was
planning on taking the money and leaving her fiancé for
me."
Gayle stepped forward, shifting her glasses.
"So you had nothing to do with her decision then."
"No," Jessica replied quickly. "In fact, I told
her that I couldn't watch her leave her fiancé for me,
and that we had to break up."
"What happened after that?" Gayle continued.
"That was the last time we really talked. Patricia left me
after that."
"And you had no other communications before Mr. Garner's
murder?"
"No, other than a single phone call I made a few days prior,
just to check up on her."
"Why did you feel the need to check up on her, Miss
Reed?"
Jessica shifted nervously in her seat, barely making eye contact
with Gayle as the courtroom
watched silently.
"She seemed very angry and distraught after we broke up. I
wanted to make sure she was okay."
"And that was all the call was about, Miss Reed?"
"Yes,"
"You didn't call Patricia Andrews to conspire against Mr.
Garner?" Gayle asked, pacing back and
forth calmly.
"No, I didn't," Jessica stated firmly.
"Thank you, Miss Reed," Gayle nodded. "No further
questions."
With a confident stride, Gayle took her seat and smiled at
Jessica, supportively. As the prosecutor
rose from her chair, Jessica made one final glance out in the
crowd, finally noticing Nicole's small
frame near the back as she watched quietly.
Quickly turning her attention back to the prosecutor, Jessica
watched as she crossed the floor and
made her way directly up to the stand, resting an arm near
Jessica's microphone.
"So, Miss Reed," she began, "you knew of the
estate that Patricia was entitled to after her
marriage, and you still broke up with her, knowing that she was
planning on sharing it with you?"
"Yes," Jessica said, softly. "Like I said
before..."
"Exactly how much money are we talking about here, Miss
Reed?"
Jessica paused.
"I'm not sure, I..."
"But you knew Mr. Garner was a fairly wealthy man,
regardless."
"Yes, but..."
The prosecutor interrupted again.
"Did you know that Miss Andrews was engaged when you began
your affair with her?"
"No, but it didn't take me long to find out. It was local
news."
"So you knew that your latest fling happened to be sitting
on an untapped gold mine."
Gayle rose from her chair.
"Objection!"
The prosecutor turned away from Jessica, pacing towards the jury.
"Withdrawn," she stated, slowly turning back towards
the defendant. Her smile sent chills
through Jessica's body as she tried to keep herself from
trembling on the stand. Her struggle
could be felt by two other occupants in the courtroom, as they
both silently encouraged
Jessica.
"I didn't become involved with Patricia over money, in fact
it was her who..."
"Let's talk about the phone call you made just days before
the murder," the prosecutor
interrupted once more. "What did you two talk about?"
"I phoned her to see if she was all right," Jessica
stated, nervously.
"Is that all?" the prosecutor asked, reaching for an
item from her table.
"Well, not exactly."
"What did Patricia have to say back to you, Miss Reed?"
"She started talking about one of my books, describing how
we could be just like my characters
if..."
"To what novel of yours was she referring?"
"She... was quoting from my book, 'Breathless
Ambition'."
With a smile, the prosecutor took a step forward.
"Can you please tell the court what this novel of yours is
about, Miss Reed?"
Hesitantly, Jessica looked first at Gayle and then at Nicole from
across the room, returning her
gaze to her lap.
"It's about two women who become so wrapped up in their lust
for each other that they use one of
their family members to extort money for to continue their
forbidden relationship."
"And I suppose the content of your novel has nothing to do
with what you were planning with
Patricia that night you called her."
Gayle rose a second time.
"Objection!"
"I wasn't planning anything!" Jessica stated loudly.
"My life has never been like any of my novels.
Patricia thought I was somebody I'm not; that's why I broke up
with her. I didn't conspire with her
to make money."
"But you're raking it in right now with your novel sales,
aren't you, Miss Reed?"
"Objection!" Gayle yelled, finally causing the judge to
intervene.
"That's enough, councillor."
"No further questions," the prosecutor stated, sitting
back in her seat and exchanging a quick dirty
look with Gayle.
With the courtroom all riled up from the small outburst, Jessica
rose from the stand and took her
place back with Gayle, who moved to hold her hand under the
table.
"If that is all, this courtroom will be adjourned until
tomorrow morning."
Sighing, Jessica turned to Gayle and lowered her head, waiting
for the crowd to pile out of the
courtroom before speaking.
"Did I do all right?"
"You did great, Jess," Gayle smiled. "This case is
over, don't worry."
Jessica raised her head, taking hold of Gayle's hand from beneath
the table.
"Thank you," she said, softly.
"You're welcome," Gayle replied.
The two rose from their seats, making their way towards the exit.
"Listen, about tonight," Jessica began.
"No, it's okay," Gayle replied. "You don't have to
meet with me, I understand."
"No, that's not what I was... I was wondering what time we
should meet."
Gayle fumbled with her bag, blushing slightly.
"Oh... well, I still have some work to do today but how
about later this evening?"
"Ten?" Jessica asked, smiling nervously.
"Okay, ten, but where?"
"How about my office," Jessica smiled. "I don't
think I feel like going home just yet."
"Sure," Gayle replied. "Your office, ten."
"Well, until then," Jessica whispered, letting go of
Gayle's hand.
"Until then," came the soft reply.
Slowly, the two parted, stopping in their tracks just inches from
the closed entrance to the
courtroom. Just as Jessica reached for the handle, Gayle wrapped
her arms around her with a
small hug. Jessica held her breath for a moment, surprised, until
Gayle finally let go, fixing her
glasses back in place. With that, she quickly reverted to her
professional self, opening the door
and finding the usual crowd of reporters waiting for her
statement.
...
CHAPTER IV
A few minutes later, after wading through the crowd of reporters,
Jessica finally made it to her car
and sat down inside. With a few quick twists and turns around
city blocks, the mob of paparazzi
quickly faded away and Jessica let out a sigh.
At her first red light, she stopped the car and reached into her
purse for her cell phone, which
subsequently rang as soon as she grasped it, causing another
quick jolt of fright as Jessica
answered it.
"Hello?"
"Jessica? It's Nikki."
"Oh," Jessica smiled, "you've got to stop doing
that to me, Nikki."
"Pardon?"
"Never mind. Anyway, Nikki, what's on your... mind?"
Jessica heard a small giggle on the other end of the line.
"Well, I was hoping we could get together again, for some
more research. Did you see me in court
today?"
"Yes I did," Jessica replied, "when I wasn't
fumbling the ball on the stand."
"I thought you did great," Nicole stated, supportively.
"Well, at least two people think that way."
"Who else does?"
"Oh, just a friend," Jessica said, smiling. "So,
where are you?"
"I'm near that cafe we went to yesterday."
"So am I," Jessica replied, noticing the street number.
"Should we meet there?"
"Sure, Nikki."
"Great," Nicole answered. "I actually want to talk
to you about something."
"Oh?" Jessica asked, curiously.
There was a pause.
"I think maybe we should wait until we get there."
"Okay..." Jessica pronounced slowly.
"Bye," Nicole said, quickly, hanging up.
After passing by the park and turning onto Walnut street, Jessica
pulled into the cafe parking lot,
where Nicole's speedy car was already waiting. As she opened the
door to step out, she
noticed Nicole was already up to her window, smiling nervously.
"Hi," she stated, quickly. "Could we maybe go for
a ride instead of going into the cafe? In your car,
of course."
"Sure," Jessica stated, sitting back in the car with a
confused look on her face.
Nicole jogged around to the passenger's side and got in, quickly
putting on her seat belt.
"Thanks, I really love your car. I'll bet it's faster than
mine."
Jessica set her keys back in the ignition.
"I don't plan on finding that out," she smiled.
"So, what did you want to talk with me about, Nikki?"
The car pulled out of the parking lot as Nicole opened her window
and let in a cool breeze to lighten
the tension a bit.
"Well, I..."
"Yes?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to a concert with me
tonight. I already bought the tickets, and
I... well, I was hoping you'd say yes."
"A concert?" Jessica asked, quickly remembering her
other arrangements for the evening.
"It's not like a rock concert or anything," Nicole
quickly replied. "It's actually a concert performance
by an orchestra I like. A classical symphony, I guess."
"Oh," Jessica pronounced, somewhat relieved. "What
time is this concert, Nikki?"
"It starts at seven, and the tickets say until ten, but I've
never seen them go on for a full three
hours."
"Are you sure?"
Nicole lowered her head, letting her wild fire curls blow into
her face.
"You don't have to come, I guess. I was only hoping to have
someone go with me for once."
"Nicole, I..."
Before finishing her sentence, Jessica looked over at her
passenger, noticing a single tear run
down her cheek as the wind blew wildly in her face.
"I'd... love to go," Jessica stated, after a long
pause.
"Really?" Nicole asked, lifting her head.
"I've never actually been to a classical performance before;
it might be fun."
"Thank you, Jessica. I'm sorry if this isn't the sort of
research you were looking for in terms of a
college student's interests.
"No," Jessica replied, "this is exactly the type
of thing that would work perfectly in one of my
novels; a college student who enjoys some sophisticated
entertainment. It's a great quality in an
original character."
"Oh... thanks."
"So, is this a 'formal' concert in terms of dress,
Nikki?"
"Well, yes, but they're not too strict," Nicole
replied. "I've gone in the same dress each time, and it
isn't much to look at."
Jessica smiled, looking over at Nicole for a second.
"What's your dress size?"
Nicole blushed slightly, running a hand through her locks.
"I'm about a size 4. Why?"
"Well, I might just have a few old dresses sitting in my
closet that might fit you well, just for this
evening."
"No, I couldn't..."
"It's okay, Nikki," Jessica replied. "It's the
least I can do to pay you back for buying those two
tickets. From what I hear, I'll bet they were on the expensive
side."
"Thank you, Jessica," Nicole answered, softly.
"I'm... already excited."
"What time is it?" Jessica asked, turning a corner
towards her condo.
"It's almost six," Nicole said, looking down at her
watch.
"Well, we'd better start getting ready now. Do you have the
tickets on you, Nikki?"
"Mmm hmm," she nodded, pulling them out from inside her
jean jacket.
"Great, then we can leave directly from my place,"
Jessica stated. "Will your car be all right at the
cafe?"
"It should be, unless Diane finds it sitting there."
"Pardon?"
"Oh, it's nothing," Nicole smiled. "It'll be fine,
yes."
"Okay, we'd better hurry up and get to my place if we want
to get to this concert on time."
Turning onto Mayweather Drive, Jessica smiled as she allowed her
car to accelerate to a speed
approaching half of what Nicole usually drove at. It was well
over the limit, and just enough to
bring an excited expression to Nicole's face.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the home of Jessica
Reed," she stated, happily.
"It isn't much to look at," Jessica grinned, quoting
directly from her passenger.
Nicole smiled back , leaning near the door and letting her face
bathe in the gentle winds as Jessica
turned on the radio to a classical station. The stage seemed set
for a night of wonderful music,
together.
...
CHAPTER V
Jessica's apartment rested on the twenty first floor of a large
apartment building amidst the
single row of extravagant condos that adorned Mayweather Drive.
Nicole watched with wide eyes
as Jessica opened the door to an apartment that was over twice
the size of her own.
"Well, this is it," Jessica smiled. "I know it's
not much, but..."
"Are you kidding? This place is as big as a house. I could
never afford a place like this."
"Sorry about the mess, but I do a lot of my writing here as
well."
As Jessica flicked the lights on, Nicole looked around to see
various papers all over the room, on
shelves, tables, and even on the floor. At the other end of the
condo, a beautiful kitchen with a
large dining room were set up as a temporary office.
"It's... incredible," Nicole stated, still standing
just outside the door.
"My bedroom is this way, if you'd like to come in,"
Jessica said, calmly.
Nicole quickly stepped inside, blushing as Jessica closed the
door behind her and slowly turned
towards the bedroom.
Once inside, Jessica stopped in front of two sliding wooden doors
along the wall, adjacent her
large bed. Nicole watched with amazement as Jessica opened the
doors to reveal an entire
room devoted exclusively to her wardrobe. Along each wall,
Jessica's seemingly endless
collection of attire was perfectly matched and placed in
meticulous order. Nicole's jaw nearly hit
the floor as she made her way inside.
"I believe the dresses are over here," Jessica smiled.
"Did your novels buy all of this?" Nicole asked.
"Yes, most of it."
"Now I really want to be a writer," Nicole replied,
sighing.
Jessica returned her smile, sliding a few articles of clothing
aside to reveal a small row of dresses
in various colors.
"Which one would you like to wear, Nikki?"
"I don't know," she replied, still a little awestruck.
"What are you planning on wearing?"
"Well," Jessica began, reaching into the row. "I
thought I might wear this one..."
Gently, she pulled out a long, dark red evening gown, presenting
it to Nicole.
"That one?"
"What do you think?" Jessica asked, holding it up to
herself for a moment. "Will it work for a
musical concert?"
"I think you would look beautiful in it, Jessica,"
Nicole stated, gazing at the smooth material of the
gown.
"Okay, then. Now what about you, Nikki?"
There was a long pause, as Nicole scratched her head and ran her
fingers through her curls once
more.
"How about that one," she said, pointing to a dress in
the middle of the row. "The blue one."
"You mean this?" Jessica asked, pulling a midnight blue
dress out from the collection.
"Mmm hmm," Nicole nodded, timidly.
Slowly, Jessica walked up to Nicole, holding the dress up to her
as if to size her up. It seemed to
fit perfectly, just as she had suspected it would.
"This one should work," she grinned.
"Okay, I think I'll get changed then. But what about my
hair?"
"We can fix it up nicely before we go, don't worry,"
Jessica replied. "You can change in here and
I'll just close these doors."
"Right," Nicole replied, softly.
With a gentle smile, Jessica closed the double doors of her
closet, setting her gown on the bed as
she began to disrobe. On the other side of the doors, Nicole felt
her heart begin to pound as her
eyes remained locked on the double doors, noticing a small crack
in between them as she slowly
undressed. Her mind raced with a strange curiosity, and even as
she continued to shed her
clothing, the heat of the room seemed to remain more humid than
usual.
As soon as she was down to only her underwear and bra, Nicole's
ravenous curiosity quickly got
the best of her. With a silent pace, she made her way up to the
double doors, pressing her eye
close to the crack for a glimpse of what lied on the other side.
Jessica's back was turned to the closet and she was already down
to her underwear as well.
Without hesitating, she unclasped her bra and set it on the bed,
revealing her bare back to the
doors.
Nicole's pulse continued to race as she watched, holding her
breath, and feeling small surges of
excitement course through her body. From between her legs, her
excitement was made even more
apparent as she felt the subtle moisture of her arousal soak into
the thin layer of her panties.
With her back still turned, Jessica slowly let her underwear
slide down her thighs and finally fall
to her ankles. The mere sight quickly caused Nicole to let out a
silent moan, as she felt one of her
hands reach between her legs. Jessica then lifted up her gown,
pressing it against her body for a
moment before slowly covering back up.
Still caught up in the sight, Nicole inhaled deeply, trembling as
her fingers pressed against the
moist lips of her pussy through the now soaked material of her
underwear. With every ounce of
her strength, she held back her moans from reaching Jessica's
ears as she finally finished putting
on her gown. As she turned back towards the closet, Nicole was
unable to hold in a subtle gasp as
she backed away from the small crack.
"Are you done getting dressed, Nikki?" Jessica asked,
calmly.
"No... I'm not ready yet," Nicole stuttered, rushing
back towards the other end of the closet and
throwing on the dress quickly.
"May I come in?"
"Not just yet..."
Fumbling with the straps, Nicole looked up at the doors, feeling
a bead of sweat run down her
forehead.
"...Okay, I'm ready."
Nicole tried her best to stand up straight as Jessica pushed open
the double doors once more,
peering at the rosy cheeked college student as she stood,
trembling.
"Oh," Jessica smiled, "I don't think that you're
supposed to wear a bra with that particular dress,
Nikki, unless you don't mind others seeing your straps."
"I know," Nicole replied, nervously, "I was just
about to... take it off."
Reaching behind her back, Nicole unclasped her bra, careful to
hold onto one of the straps on her
dress as she pulled it off. Then, quickly kicking her clothing
aside, Nicole stood up straight, barely
able to stop her heavy breathing.
"You look stunning," Jessica said, happily. "That
dress was definitely a good choice."
"Thank you," Nicole managed to let out, still trembling
at her knees.
"Well, I suppose we should fix up our hair before we leave.
Shall we?"
Nicole nodded, stepping out of the closet and noticing that she
was still in her socks.
"Oh, what about footwear? All I have is my boots."
"I'll see what I can do," Jessica smiled. "Come
on, Nikki."
Smiling, the two made their way towards the bathroom, letting
their elegant gowns shimmer in the
dim evening light as they prepared themselves for a night on the
town.
...
A few minutes later, Jessica's car pulled up to the concert hall,
and the two got out, already late for
the beginning of the performance. Nicole's hair had been tied
back, and she was wearing an
elegant pair of heels that matched her blue dress perfectly. The
two rushed up to the main door,
just in time to catch the attendant handling the tickets.
"Has the concert started yet?" Nicole asked, handing
over the tickets.
"I'd say you've got about two minutes," he replied.
"They're just getting warmed up."
Nicole nodded, stepping inside with Jessica close behind her.
Quickly, they made their way up the
large staircase and into the main hall, noticing that everyone
was already seated.
"Our seats aren't very close to the front, sorry,"
Nicole whispered.
"That's okay, I prefer the back," Jessica smiled.
"I'd rather not bring too much attention to the fact
that I'm here anyway."
The two quickly took their seats, which were exactly four rows
from the back. Most of the seats
behind them were empty, with the far majority of the audience in
the rows ahead of them. Finally,
after an extended period of warming up, the conductor made her
way to the pedestal and began her
first piece with the orchestra.
All at once the great hall filled with the sound of a soothing
melody, marked by the gentle tunes of
both clarinets and flutes. Nicole smiled as she turned to look at
Jessica. She seemed to marvel
over the simple beauty of the instrumentals. After a few moments,
Jessica returned her gaze and
the two found their eyes locked in a silent stare.
"Jessica?" Nicole began, mouthing the words at first
instead of speaking them.
"Yes?" she replied, in a faint whisper.
"Remember yesterday when I asked if you were gay, and you
said yes?"
Jessica nodded. "Mmm hmm."
"I wanted to tell you then, but I never really had the
chance. I..."
"Yes, Nikki?" Jessica pronounced softly.
"I... I'm gay, too... I think."
There was a pause, just as the orchestra's melody rose in
strength, letting the powerful sounds of
each instrument echo throughout the hall, still unable to sway
the gaze of either onlooker as they
both continued to stare into each other's eyes.
After a few moments, Jessica narrowed her eyes with a gentle
smile, feeling the warmth of Nicole's
hand as their palms pressed together.
Slowly, the sound of the orchestra began to transcend into a
beautiful overture, as if in tune with
Nicole's new found enthusiasm as well as Jessica's tender
reception. The two continued to stare,
listening to the grace of the performance as their hands remained
locked in the only embrace they
could truly share without deliberately announcing their
affection. As the music continued to grow
in emotion, the reluctance that held Nicole from pursuing her
embrace was shattered as she felt
herself move closer to Jessica.
The two shared their first kiss just at the climax of the first
piece, and their embrace was met with
a subsequent round of applause from the audience, as if all eyes
were on their actions. Jessica's
mind raced as her thoughts jumped from her current actions with
Nicole, to her earlier encounter
and plans with Gayle for the evening. The weight of her current
situation quickly seemed to
outweigh her concerns over the latter, as she felt herself return
the kiss ardently.
When the two parted, the applause of the audience slowly died,
giving rise to the second piece as
the sound of the orchestra filled the hall once more.
"Maybe... we should go," Jessica whispered, nervously
weighing the possibility of attracting too
much attention.
"Not yet," Nicole replied, softly taking hold of
Jessica's hand.
With gentle care, Nicole guided Jessica's palm to her thigh,
resting it on the soft material of her
blue dress. Immediately, Jessica felt her cheeks flush, as she
looked ahead for a moment, full of
anxiety but also relieved that no one in the audience was paying
attention to her actions.
Nicole lowered her head, letting a quiet sigh escape her lips, as
she slowly guided Jessica's hand
to her warm mound resting just beneath her elegant dress. Jessica
held in a deep breath, as
she felt the warmth of Nicole's body radiate against her fingers,
pushing them both further into a
state of ecstasy. All around them, the music seemed to soften,
beckoning them forward with its
sensual melody as it mixed with the sound of their breathing.
"Nicole, I..."
"Are you wearing anything underneath your gown, Miss
Reed?" Nicole whispered, already aware of
the answer.
There was a pause, as Jessica felt Nicole release her hand, only
to begin slowly pulling up her
midnight blue dress.
"No," she replied, almost silently.
"Well, I wouldn't want you to suffer alone," Nicole
whispered, nervous herself but excited at
the same time.
With her dress pulled half way up her thighs, Nicole reached
underneath her dress, gently pulling
her underwear down her legs. Jessica looked up, making a second
look around the hall for any
eyes looking their way, but unable to find any. Ignoring the
audience, however, Nicole continued to
slide her panties down her legs, finally letting them drop to her
ankles. She then leaned forward
and picked them up, resting them on the seat beside her.
"Nicole, we could be caught," Jessica whispered,
shifting her eyes nervously.
"I know," she replied, softly. "Wouldn't this make
a great scene in your new novel?"
"I, I..."
Not waiting for an answer, Nicole took hold of Jessica's hand and
slowly guided it back to her
thigh, which was now bare. Nicole shivered as Jessica's fingers
pressed against her warm skin,
only inches away from her wet pussy. The sensation sent a jolt of
pleasure coursing through
Nicole's body, nearly causing her to moan aloud.
"Ohhh... you've got me so wet," Nicole whispered,
letting her head rest on Jessica's shoulder.
Slowly, Jessica took in a deep breath as she felt Nicole guide
her fingers further up her thighs,
finally making contact with the moist lips of her pussy. A quiet
moan escaped from Nicole almost
instantly, as she let go of Jessica's fingers and gripped the
sides of her seat tightly. Jessica felt
her heart pound with excitement as she traced her fingers around
the slick hood of Nicole's clit. At
the same time, the music's energy seemed to grow, as the
inhibitions holding both women back
seemed to fade away with the completed notes of the symphony.
"Nikki, I've never... done anything like this in public
before," Jessica pronounced, between heavy
breaths.
Looking up from her shoulder, Nicole smiled softly, running her
tongue gently across her top lip.
"You wanted me for research," she replied, in a
soothing voice. "Isn't this the best kind?"
Jessica looked down, almost unable to answer as she felt Nicole
lower herself in her seat,
pressing herself harder against Jessica's fingers as they passed
back and forth over her swollen
clit. Nicole's breath quick turned to subtle moans as she felt
the pressure build between her legs,
and the pleasure pulse through her limbs.
"We'll be caught when..."
"I'll be quiet, I promise," Nicole moaned, slowly
narrowing her eyes.
Pulling herself up in her chair slightly, Nicole began to writhe
in her seat as she spread her legs
further apart, allowing Jessica's fingers to slip in between the
trembling lips of her pussy and
press against her inner walls. Gasping, Nicole grasped Jessica's
arm with one hand as she
pursed her lips, nearly letting out an earth-shattering moan as
she felt Jessica's fingers inside
of her.
Jessica felt her fingers bathe in Nicole's warm juices as she
slid deeper, reaching with her free
hand for Nicole's and grasping it tightly.
"Nikki, we can't..."
"Ohhhhh fuck... I'm close, Jessica, please don't stop."
Feeling the grip of her hand, Jessica looked down to see the
throbbing movements of Nicole's hips
as she pressed herself deeper against her fingers. Taking in a
deep breath, Nicole held her eyes
shut tightly as the blissful sensations approached their climax,
alongside the music itself. With a
final loud cry, and the climactic percussion of the symphony,
Jessica's eyes widened as Nicole's
pussy contracted in an explosion of absolute euphoria, in front
of a vast but oblivious audience.
"Jessica, I'm... Uhhhhhhhhh..."
Nicole's climax was realized as she arched her back in her seat,
and struggled to remain
silent as a hot stream of her nectar covered Jessica's fingers
and quickly soaked into her
seat cushion. Her grip on Jessica's free hand seemed to double as
she nearly rose from her
seat, pressing her head hard against Jessica's shoulder. After a
few moments, Nicole slumped
back down in her seat, allowing Jessica to slide her drenched
fingers from her still quivering pussy.
Around them, the next piece of the concert began, reverting to a
calm, serene melody that nearly
put the wearied Nicole into a blissful sleep.
Pressing both hands in between her legs, Nicole seemed to tense
up for a brief moment, then calm
once more as she let out a euphoric sigh. Her eyes remained
closed as she slumped back over
onto Jessica's shoulder.
"Now that's what I call research," she whispered,
barely making a sound.
Nicole lifted her arm once more, meeting with Jessica's as they
held hands; their fingers slick with
her girl cum. Neither spoke another word until the concert came
to an end; and during that time,
Jessica found her own head resting against Nicole's as she lied
on her shoulder, falling
hopelessly in and out of consciousness, filled only with the
insatiable desire for more of Jessica
Reed's angelic touch.
...
CHAPTER VI
Making their way out of the concert hall, Jessica looked across
the street to a nearby building,
noticing the time. It was 9:45; only minutes from her scheduled
meeting with Gayle, and Nicole
was still at her side, smiling.
"My clothes are still at your place, Jessica. Don't you
think we should go back there?"
Jessica felt a single bead of sweat run down her forehead as they
made their way up to her car.
"I actually have an appointment I have to keep, Nicole, I'm
sorry. I can drop you back off at the cafe
and..."
"But my car keys are at your apartment, too," Nicole
replied, smiling.
There was a pause as Jessica opened the door to her car and got
in, biting her lip for a moment.
"Well, I suppose we have time to run back to my place and
get your things. Then I'll drop you back
off at your car, all right?"
"What kind of appointment is it?" Nicole asked,
curiously.
"I have to meet with my attorney," Jessica replied,
slightly relieved she didn't even have to lie.
"This late?" Nicole inquired once more.
"I did postpone it a bit for the concert, but yes,"
Jessica answered.
"Oh, all right then," Nicole nodded, seemingly
satisfied.
Starting up the car, Jessica pulled out of the concert parking
lot and raced home, this time at
speeds rivaling that of Nicole's when she was behind the wheel.
...
By the time the two made it back to Jessica's building, and back
upstairs, it was only minutes until
ten. Nicole walked calmly towards the bedroom as Jessica darted
for her closet, grabbing a pair of
jeans and a sweater before running into the bathroom.
"Are you going to be late?" Nicole asked, passing by
the bathroom door. "Because I'll walk back to
the cafe if you want me to."
"Really?" Jessica asked, pulling on her sweater.
"Well, I suppose... no, that's okay, Nikki. The cafe
is on the way, it'll be no trouble."
"Okay," Nicole replied, suddenly gaining an interest in
Jessica's plans.
Just as Nicole turned towards the bedroom, Jessica opened the
door of the bathroom, already
out of her gown and breathing heavily.
"Ready?" she asked, quickly realizing the answer as she
gazed down at Nicole's dress, which
still adorned her figure.
"Oh, I'll get right on that," Nicole stated, blushing a
bit.
The two made their way into the bedroom, where Nicole's discarded
clothes and boots still sat.
Jessica quickly walked over to her dresser, pulling out a pair of
socks and a bra out of the corner
of Nicole's eye.
"Don't you want a pair of underwear, too?" she asked,
grinning slyly.
Jessica paused, dropping one of her socks as she turned towards
Nicole.
"Oh... right. Well, it shouldn't matter too much in these
jeans, and I'm a little late already so..."
"Okay," Nicole repeated, slowly pulling off her straps.
"Would you like me to wait by the door?" Jessica asked,
a little nervous once more.
"No, you can stay, Jessica," Nicole smiled. "I
think you already caught a glimpse, or at least a feel
of myself at the concert anyway."
"You're right, Nikki," Jessica replied, sitting down to
pull on her socks.
Slowly, Nicole let the midnight blue dress fall to the floor,
revealing her completely bare body just
as Jessica looked up.
"I wish you could have felt what I did at the concert,"
Nicole said, softly. "I'll have to repay you
sometime, Miss Reed."
"I'm sure you'll get the chance," Jessica grinned.
Nicole slid back into her panties and pulled her jeans back on,
stopping for a moment.
"Have you ever tried... using toys?" she asked,
completely out of the blue.
Jessica gulped, raising her eyebrows.
"Toys? What kind of toys?"
"You know," Nicole giggled, "sex toys. Like a
dildo or a vibrator."
"No."
"I haven't either actually, but I've always wanted to try.
What do you think, Jessica?"
"Well, I don't know, Nikki. It would definitely be something
new, but I can't really..."
Nicole grinned, holding her bra in one hand as she made her way
up to the bed and sat down
beside Jessica.
"Wouldn't it be nice to try one sometime?" she asked,
quietly. "Just imagine it, having a vibrator
trace its path from your neck down between your breasts, and
across your stomach..."
As Nicole spoke, she lifted her finger and began to mimic the
very same path she was describing,
word for word, as Jessica watched, motionless.
"Nikki..."
"And then... stopping right between your legs, just over
your wet clitoris, and teasing the waiting
lips of your..."
Jessica let out a deep moan, feeling Nicole's fingers slide
between her legs, as if her hand itself
was the vibrator she spoke of.
"Ohhhhh..."
Just as Jessica felt she was going to fall backwards onto the
sheets, she braced herself, quickly
standing from the sheets and letting out a heavy breath.
"See?" Nicole grinned, tilting her head playfully.
"You can already imagine it, can't you?"
"Yes, yes I can," Jessica replied quickly. "You're
absolutely right, Nikki, we need a vibrator, and
maybe something else to go with it."
Nicole smiled, running a hand through her curls.
"Well, if you say so, Miss Reed."
"Why don't you go pick one out for us tonight, Nikki. It'll
be on me, so pick out the best one and I'll
pay you back tomorrow. Sound good?"
"Okay, Jessica," Nicole stated, standing up. "I
promise I'll pick us out a good one, and I promise
you'll be the first one to enjoy it."
"Great," Jessica answered, resting her hands on
Nicole's shoulders as she pointed her back
towards her clothes, noticing the time on her watch. "Now,
let's hurry, it's getting late."
"What about the dress? Do you want me to wash it or
anything?"
Jessica stopped in her tracks, letting go of Nicole's shoulders.
"I think you should keep the dress, Nikki, as a
present," she smiled.
"Really?"
"Yes, and the shoes, too. You definitely fit them better
than I do."
Nicole turned around, hugging Jessica tightly, still naked from
the waist up.
"Thank you, Jessica. You're incredible!"
"I... know," she replied nervously, looking down at her
watch.
...
It was already past ten by the time Jessica finally pulled up to
the cafe once more, unlocking the
door for Nicole as she stepped out of the car.
"Should I call you tonight, Jessica?" she asked, making
her way to the driver's side window.
"I think I might be a little late, Nikki, but tomorrow
morning would be perfect."
"Okay, tomorrow morning then. Bye, Jessica."
"Bye, Nikki," Jessica smiled, watching as Nicole turned
towards her car, holding her new midnight
blue dress in one arm.
Without even waiting for her to get to the door, Jessica put her
car into reverse and pulled out of
the parking lot, only making it half a block down the street
before hitting a red light.
"Wait a minute," Nicole stated, quickly getting into
her car. "What was it that Miss Reed wanted me
to get? She said a vibrator, but she also said something else...
should I ask her?"
Reaching for her phone, Nicole dialed Jessica's cell, getting no
answer. After trying once more,
she hung up and pulled out of the parking lot, noticing that
Jessica was still stopped at the red light
a few cars ahead.
"She must have left her cell phone back at the condo,"
she whispered to herself. "I'll just ask her
before she gets to her appointment."
Smiling, Nicole stopped two cars back from Jessica, carefully
tailing her as soon as the light turned
green.
At the same time, Jessica, who was already well above the speed
limit in her own car, pulled out
her cell phone and turned it on, dialing her office. After a few
rings there was an answer in a very
quiet voice.
"Hhh... hello?"
"Gayle, is that you?"
"Jessica?" the voice replied, sniffling for a moment.
"I thought you had... forgotten."
"No, no, I haven't forgotten. My hands have just been...
busy lately. I'm on my way right now
though."
"I've been waiting," Gayle replied, softly.
"I'll be there in a few minutes, I promise."
"Thank you, Jessica. You're..."
"Incredible, I know."
"Pardon?" Gayle asked, confused.
Stunned, Jessica covered her mouth for a moment.
"Oh... nothing. I'll be right there."
Gayle took in a deep breath, sighing.
"I'll be here," she replied, quietly.
The line went dead, as Jessica set her phone back down, turning a
tight corner to avoid another
red light.
After a few short minutes, Jessica finally pulled into her office
parking lot, noticing Gayle's car
parked just outside the main doors. Quickly, she parked beside
her and made her way to the
doors, her key in hand. As soon as the doors closed behind her,
Nicole's car pulled into the
parking lot, stopping near the same staff entrance she had picked
Jessica up at a day earlier.
"If it's just an appointment with her attorney, I'm sure she
won't mind if I drop in," Nicole stated,
opening her door.
...
Already inside, Jessica made her way to the elevator, making one
last glance at her watch before
pressing the button for her office floor.
"Oh perfect," she whispered to herself. "Remind me
to schedule my time better the next time I
decide to get secretly involved with two people, while worrying
about a conspiracy conviction at the
same time."
Not expecting an answer, Jessica tapped her shoes impatiently
until the elevator reached her floor.
Quickly stepping out, she made her way down the darkened hall
towards her office, where a single
light could be seen from beyond the closed door. After a few
quick steps, Jessica opened the door
to find Gayle, pacing back and forth across the room.
"Jessica?" she asked, shifting her glasses.
As always, she was wearing one of her expensive suits with
matching skirt and shoes, compared
to Jessica's casual sweater and jeans, only her hair was now
untied from behind her head and
freely flowing in the warm office air.
"I'm sorry I'm late," she replied, softly.
Without answering, Gayle turned towards Jessica and embraced her
with a gentle hug, noticeably
trembling with nervousness.
"I... didn't think you would come, ever since that kiss this
morning. I know that as your attorney I
shouldn't get involved..."
Jessica smiled, resting her head on Gayle's shoulder.
"Since when was that written in stone?" she asked.
Parting from their embrace, Gayle looked up through teary eyes as
Jessica smiled, brushing a lock
of hair from her face.
"I never really thought about it until now, but... I think
I'm gay."
Jessica concealed a smirk, looking down at the floor for a
moment.
"Deja vu," she stated, inwardly.
"And it's not only that," Gayle continued, pulling off
her glasses. "I think... I'm in love with you."
"Gayle," Jessica whispered, reaching out a hand and
finding a trembling palm. "I think I love you,
too."
Slowly, the two came together once more, this time with a long
kiss surpassing both they had
shared hours earlier. Filled with an incredible sensation, Gayle
dropped her glasses to the floor,
shattering a lens almost instantly but not stopping either from
breaking their loving embrace as it
continued, endlessly.
...
Meanwhile, still outside the office building, Nicole returned
back to her car from the main doors,
which were locked tight.
"I'll never get in at this rate," she said, scowling.
Opening her car door, Nicole reached inside the glove box,
pulling out a small handful of old
hairpins.
"I wonder," she whispered, peering down first at the
pins and then back up at the locked staff
entrance.
...
Back in the office, after a long pause following their kiss,
Jessica backed away, peering down at
the pair of spectacles spread out over the floor.
"I'm sorry," Jessica stated.
Gayle managed a smile, running a finger through her blonde locks,
which were no longer tied up
behind her head.
"It's okay," she replied. "I can see fine as long
as we're in the light."
"Well, we shouldn't have a problem in that case,"
Jessica smiled.
...
Placing the hairpins back in her pocket, Nicole closed the
freshly unlocked door behind her,
squinting her eyes in the near pitch black darkness of what
appeared to be the building's power
room. The walls were packed with various electronic equipment,
barely lighting the room with the
dim, fluorescent glow of the switches and dials.
"I hope this wasn't a bad idea," Nicole stated,
reaching out her hands blindly. "Where's the
light switch when you need it..."
Feeling along the wall, Nicole grasped a large switch attached to
a power box near the other door
of the room. With a heavy pull, she threw the switch, expecting
the lights of the room to power up.
Instead, there was a great silence, followed by an ominous hum as
each of the switches and dials
in the room began to fade away into darkness sequentially.
"Wrong switch," Nicole stated, gulping loudly.
...
At the same time, just as Jessica finished sweeping aside the
remains of Gayle's glasses, the
room fell into darkness as the lights faded. Both gasped as the
only remaining light flooded in
from the small window on the other side of the desk, leaving the
office otherwise pitch black.
"A black out?" Gayle asked, looking around blindly.
Jessica squinted her eyes, looking out the window.
"It can't be. The buildings across the street are still lit
up, as well as the street lamps for that
matter."
"It must be a circuit breaker, or a short fuse. What should
we do, Jessica?"
With a calm smile, Jessica walked over to her desk, opening one
of the drawers.
"We'll compensate," she stated, softly. "I've got
a few candles in my desk here; they'll be perfect."
Gayle narrowed her eyes, skeptically.
"You didn't plan this blackout by any chance, did you,
Jessica?"
"Of course not," she replied. "But it does create
the perfect mood, doesn't it?"
"I suppose so," Gayle pronounced, taking two candles
from Jessica.
Quickly, the two set up a total of eight candles in each corner
of the room, excluding the desk,
before stopping and reaching further back in the desk drawer for
a box of matches. Taking one of
the candles from the counter, Jessica lit the wick and handed the
candle to Gayle.
"Help me light the rest?" she asked, softly.
"Of course, Jessica," Gayle smiled, taking the candle
and making her way to the other end of the
office.
As soon as the candles were lit, Jessica took a seat on her desk,
calmly waiting as Gayle set the
last candle down and turned back towards her. There was a long
pause as both inhaled deeply
from the subtle fragrance of the candles, sighing almost at the
same time.
"So," Jessica began, smiling, "as my attorney,
Gayle, how would you advise us to proceed?"
Standing up straight, as if she were in front of a jury, Gayle
flashed her professional smile and
began walking up to Jessica, slowly.
"Well, Miss Reed, you may start by removing your
sweater."
Nodding, Jessica reached for the bottom of her sweater, pulling
it over her head and setting it down
on the desktop. Gayle's smile seemed to widen as she peered down
through blurred eyes at
Jessica, who was now in only a pair of blue jeans and a bra.
"Is that all?" Jessica asked, softly.
"Not quite."
Slowly, Gayle took a seat upon the desk, trembling slightly as
she brought her lips to Jessica's
neck with a soft kiss, followed by a second. Jessica let out a
deep sigh, tilting her head as she
watched Gayle move her lips lower, stopping just before the
beginning of her bra strap on her
shoulder.
"Ohhh god," Jessica whispered, letting her hair fall
into her face as she closed her eyes.
Gayle smiled, letting her warm breath beat down softly against
Jessica's skin as she reached
behind her back.
"I haven't exactly done this before," she said,
quietly.
"I think you've got the idea," Jessica moaned, leaning
back on the desk slightly.
Reaching her other hand around Jessica's back, Gayle slowly
unclasped her bra, letting it fall into
her lap. Then, making one last look in her eyes, Gayle let her
tongue trace its way from Jessica's
shoulder onto her bare breast and finally her waiting nipple.
Jessica let out a deep moan, shifting on the desk as she felt a
small wave of pleasure wash over
her. Gayle closed her eyes as she let her tongue trace circles
around Jessica's nipple, feeling it
slowly harden to her touch. As she continued to caress Jessica's
breast, Gayle felt a small
fire ignite between her legs, causing her to shift in her seat
slightly.
"I think I'm... wet," Gayle whispered, pulling away
from Jessica slowly.
"Maybe we should check, just to be sure," Jessica
pronounced, softly.
Leaning forward once more, Jessica turned herself towards Gayle,
slowly reaching for her waist
and unbuttoning the first button on her skirt. Nervously, Gayle
gripped the sides of the desk,
holding her breath as she watched Jessica unbutton her skirt,
slowly revealing her bare legs. After
a short pause, and a glance at the soaking wet material of her
panties, Gayle looked back up at
Jessica, longingly.
"Make love to me, Jessica."
Nodding gently, Jessica stood from the desk, positioning herself
in front of Gayle as she proceeded
to open her blazer.
"Does this fall under Attorney/Client privilege?"
Jessica smiled, watching as Gayle tossed her
blazer onto the floor.
"I suppose so," she replied, quietly.
Opening her blouse, Gayle shed the last article of clothing from
her waist up, excluding her bra,
which also happened to match the rest of her attire. Slowly,
Jessica brought herself back into
Gayle's grasp, running her fingers up her bare thighs as Gayle
reached for the button on Jessica's
jeans. After a few moments of struggling, Jessica finally reached
the waistline of Gayle's
underwear, just as she felt her jeans unzip and slide down to her
knees, revealing her bare
pussy.
"Mmmmm... I think I'm more than a little wet myself,"
Jessica giggled, feeling the warm air from the
candles press against her thighs.
"You weren't wearing anything under your jeans?"
"I always try to be prepared when I'm meeting with my
attorney," she answered, smiling.
With her own panties down to her ankles, Gayle lied back on the
desk, resting her head on
Jessica's discarded sweater as she stared up at the dimly lit
ceiling. Almost immediately, the
thick, ardent air of the candlelit room met with the moist lips
of Gayle's pussy, causing her to begin
writhing upon the desk slowly.
"Jessica, I..."
Stepping out of her jeans and moving them aside with her feet,
Jessica knelt down on the soft
material of Gayle's blazer, slowly parting her attorney's legs as
she continued to breath heavily.
Combined with the fragrance of the candle's Jessica sighed as she
took in breath after breath of
Gayle's wonderful scent, bringing her lips towards her inner
thigh, just above the knee. A jolt of
bliss coursed through Gayle's body as she let out a loud gasp,
gently spreading her legs
further apart as Jessica's tongue began to slid up the length of
her inner thigh.
From between Jessica's own legs, a small stream of her fluids
began to flow from the smooth walls
of her pussy, running softly down her leg as she finally made
contact with Gayle's swollen lips.
"Ohhh god. More..."
Jessica's hot breath against the moist flesh of Gayle's slit
alone nearly sent her over the age.
Gayle cried out in ecstasy as Jessica brought her tongue to the
delicate hood, barely concealing
her already swollen clitoris. With a gentle caress, Jessica
pressed her tongue and lips into
Gayle's trembling sex. All at once, Gayle felt herself begin to
drift away into an endless void of
pleasure, becoming light headed and seemingly entranced by each
of Jessica's delicate licks. The
fire between her legs continued to grow, as Jessica brought
Gayle's clit into her mouth, gently
circling it with her tongue. At the same time, Gayle felt her
hips move rhythmically with Jessica's
touch, pushing forward and backward to meet her blissful
movements.
"Are you close?" Jessica asked softly, pulling away for
a brief moment.
In between a great moan, Gayle managed to cry out her answer,
which was more than enough to
convince Jessica of her approaching climax.
Cupping her own breasts, which were now free from her blouse,
Gayle began to moan even louder,
catching the attention of Jessica, who realized that she had come
to the office without a bra. Her
warm fluids began to pour gently into Jessica's open mouth,
filling the room with her euphoric
scent and rivaling that of the candles. Realizing the approaching
peak of her excitement, Jessica
made one final movement with her tongue, sliding in between
Gayle's swollen labia and gently
pushing in and out, ready for the weakening floodgates of her
ecstasy to burst open for the first
time.
"Ohhh Jessica, I'm going to... cum!"
With one final stroke across the very core of her attorney's
ecstasy, Jessica pressed her lips and
tongue deep into the dripping flesh of Gayle's sex, ready for the
consummation of her blinding
euphoria.
"Jessica!!!"
Jerking her hips forward, and arching her back tightly, Gayle's
voice filled the office as a flood of
her thick honey poured from the quivering walls of her pussy.
Pulling her head back for a moment,
Jessica watched in awe as Gayle's fluids soaked her sweater just
beneath her, and covered her
inner thighs as she brought her legs back together. Gayle's chest
heaved with a series of heavy
breaths, and each pulse of her heart seemed to send a jolt to
each of her limbs, which continued to
writhe with each passing second. After a few long breaths,
Gayle's arms and legs finally
rested upon the desk, as the peak of her climax subsided and the
inner walls of her vagina finally
calmed once more, leaving her and the desk soaked in girl cum.
"I think..." Gayle began, barely able to speak. "I
think I know how you can pay for my services as
your attorney, once this trial is over."
Smiling Jessica brought herself back to her feet and sat next to
Gayle upon the desk, listening to
the rhythmic sound of her breathing as well as the subtle drip of
her nectar as it formed a small
pool at the foot of the desk. For the next few minutes neither of
them spoke, and Gayle nearly
fell asleep, just barely managing to rouse herself back to
consciousness as a burning question
filled her mind.
"Was that good for you?" Jessica asked, softly.
Gayle nodded, trying her best to sit up upon the soaking wet
sweater.
"Jessica?" she asked, quietly.
"Yes?"
"Don't you think this would make a great novel?" Gayle
smiled. "A female attorney and her client
are unexpectedly drawn into an incredible liaison, during the
course of some very critical legal
proceedings?"
Jessica returned her smile, nodding.
"You might have something there, Gayle."
"I was also thinking..."
"Yes?" Jessica asked, running a finger up and down
Gayle's stomach playfully.
"What are your feelings on using sex toys?"
Widening her eyes for a moment, Jessica quickly answered.
"Sex toys? Well... I don't know, I've
never really tried them before. Why do you ask?"
"I don't know," Gayle smiled. "It just popped into
my head just now, like a craving for food I guess.
What do you think?"
"Well, what kind of sex toys are you thinking about,
Gayle?"
Smiling, Gayle ran her fingers through her messy blonde hair,
trying her best to keep it out of her
face.
"Well, I was thinking about getting something small, like a
vibrator or something. Wouldn't that be
nice, hmm?"
Holding in another smirk, though a somewhat uneasy one, Jessica
stood from the desk, standing
before Gayle with a concerned look on her face.
"Gayle... there's something I have to tell you."
Startled, Gayle sat up straight, wide eyed.
"Yes, what is it, Jessica?"
"I've... I've..."
Just before she could finish her sentence, Jessica jumped forward
as the office door swung open,
snuffing half of the candles as an angry, distraught Nicole stood
heaving with each breath.
"How could you?" she stated loudly, sniffing between
breaths. "How could you do this to me, Miss
Reed? I thought you loved me."
Spinning around, Jessica backed herself against the wall, turning
her head back and forth between
her two lovers.
"Nikki, I..."
"Who... who is this, Jessica?" Gayle asked, still
confused.
Nicole stomped into the room, her cheeks flowing with fresh
tears.
"I'm the one who accidentally threw the light switch for
this building, and I'm the one who my favorite
author has cheated on... whoever you are!"
"Gayle, I can explain, I..."
"You're involved with... her?" Gayle asked, ready to
burst into tears herself.
"We went to the classical concert together," Nicole
stated, passionately. "She gave me a new blue
dress. She made love to me as we listened to the music."
Jessica watched as Gayle's eyes filled with tears of betrayal.
"I've... I've got to go," Gayle pronounced.
"Please, don't ever call me again. I can no longer
represent you, Jessica, I'm sorry."
Jessica's eyes quickly flooded with tears as she reached out her
arms, still completely naked and
vulnerable.
"No, please don't leave, Gayle, I can't..."
Scowling, Nicole turned towards Jessica, barely able to look her
in the eye.
"I'm leaving too, Jessica. I'm sorry I ever called
you."
Retrieving her clothes from the floor, Gayle rushed out the door,
just as Nicole turned to leave as
well, barely hearing Jessica's voice as she spoke one last time
before collapsing onto the floor in
her tears.
"I'm sorry..."
...
CHAPTER VII
For the longest time afterwards, Jessica remained in her office,
on the floor, alone. The blinding
light of the morning sun was masked by a haze of clouds as hours
passed by. It was the final day
of Jessica's trial, and the storm clouds above seemed to echo her
sadness.
When the afternoon finally arrived, the weather still seemed
appropriate for Jessica's mood as she made
her way across the courtroom parking lot, not evening bothering
with the pouring rain or the usual
mob of reporters at her heels. The rainfall was, however,
successful at concealing her tears as
she stepped into the courtroom, alone.
Taking her place opposite the prosecution, the courtroom filled
with murmurs as everyone seemed
to notice the apparent absence of Miss Reed's attorney. As soon
as the judge's presence was
announced, the room went silent.
"All rise," the bailiff stated loudly. "The
honorable Judge Smith presiding."
"Please be seated."
Jessica nodded, taking a seat and nervously leaning towards the
microphone.
"Your honor, I..."
"Where is council for the defense?" the judge asked,
interrupting her sentence.
"My attorney can no longer be present for this trial. I wish
to represent myself for the remainder of
these proceedings if I may."
There was a pause, as the jury looked around the room, confused.
Jessica continued to hold back
tears.
"Miss Reed," the judge began. "Though normally I
would not condone the use of self-representation
in a trial of this severity and magnitude, seeing as how this
will be the last day of testimony, I will
allow it."
"Thank you, your honor," Jessica replied, lowering her
head.
All eyes in the courtroom seemed to focus on Jessica as the judge
sifted through a number of
papers, finally looking back up at the court.
"Does the defendant have anything to say before the verdict
is read?"
"Yes," Jessica pronounced, softly, "I do."
Standing from her chair, Jessica turned first towards the
cameras of the press, taping the proceedings live, and then back
to the jury, no longer holding back
her tears. "Even though I am innocent of this crime, I
cannot forgive myself for the pain I have
caused others in the last few years. I realize the importance in
being honest with others, and I
apologize to everyone who I've hurt in my life. I don't expect
any forgiveness, but I'm sorry...
That's all I have to say."
For a few moments, the courtroom was silent, as all tried to
digest the unexpected apology by
the defendant, who didn't even seem to focus her remarks on the
proceedings at all. The cameras
still caught every second of it, however, and it wasn't left
unnoticed entirely.
"Very well, Miss Reed," the judge stated, turning to
the other side of the courtroom. "Has the jury
reached a verdict?"
The forewoman rose from her seat, nodding.
"We have, your honor."
"On the sole count of the indictment, conspiracy to commit
murder, how do you find?"
There was a long pause, as Jessica looked around the room, openly
shedding tears as she sat
alone, wishing that either Gayle or Nicole were somehow there
with her. As the forewoman began
to speak, Jessica felt her heart pound faster than ever before.
"We find the defendant... not guilty."
A great cry of happiness rang out from almost everyone sitting in
the courtroom as new teams piled
out and rushed for the phones. The judge finalized the
proceedings just as Jessica made her way
out of the courtroom, and into the ravenous claws of the media
who immediately surrounded her.
"Miss Reed, Miss Reed, what are your reasons for dismissing
your attorney?"
Managing to halt her tears, Jessica stood up straight, looking
into the cameras.
"It was a mistake," she stated, softly.
Jessica began to move through the crowd, trying to get to her car
just as another question rose
above the crowd.
"Will you ever retain the services of your attorney
again?"
Turning around, Jessica brushed her hair out of her face,
trembling on her feet as the microphones
were shoved in her face for a statement.
"If either are listening," she began, "I'm sorry
to you both, from the bottom of my heart."
Getting into her car, Jessica was roused to attention by one
final question as she started up her
engine.
"Do you think you'll write a book on the events that have
taken place during this trial?"
Leaning out her car window, Jessica looked up at the sky, then
finally back at the media one last
time.
"There are some experiences that are too precious to be
written on paper, and they are better left
in the hearts of those who experienced them."
Without waiting for an answer, Jessica's car drove off,
comfortably traveling at a speed made
standard by one of her two lost companions.
...
By the time Jessica finally returned home, it was well past dark.
Making her way up the stairs of
her building instead of the elevator, all she could think about
was her loss, not her freedom.
Finally, as she made it to her door and set the key in the lock,
Jessica was startled by a soft voice
from the shadows.
"Is there room in that heart for one more, or is it broken
forever?"
Jessica turned, gazing at the figure from the shadows and
recognizing her instantly.
"I'm sorry for what I did, to you."
Stepping forward, the figure smiled softly, still shedding her
own tears.
"I saw the news... I forgive you, Jessica."
There was a long pause, as the two just gazed at each other, as
if they were complete strangers
who had just met for the first time.
"Would you like to come in?" Jessica asked.
The figure stepped forward, looking at Jessica directly in the
eye.
"Can we start over?"
Opening the door, Jessica let a gentle smile come to her face, as
she stared into the eyes of the
one she truly loved.
"Who says we can't?" Jessica sounded, letting her
companion step past her and inside the quiet
condo. "Now, what were we talking about the last time we saw
each other?"
Finally managing a smile, the figure turned in her tracks,
looking back into her lover's eyes with a
smile Jessica had come to adore.
"Weren't we talking about the kind of sex toys we were
thinking of trying?"
"Oh... right," Jessica stated, slowly closing the door
with a gentle sigh.
