SUMMARY: Cal runs into an old lover of his, Lisa, on a flight. He recognizes her, but she doesn't recognize him. His memories of their time together are bittersweet. COMMENTARY: What did I like about this story? The characters and the plot impressed me, as did the author's use of flashbacks. The numerous transitions between past and present are fluid. The ending isn't exactly what one would expect from an erotic story, but it is appropriately bittersweet given the way Cal remembers his relationship with Lisa. I probably would not have been as impressed with this story as I am if it had ended on a drastically different note. I can't think of anything negative to say about this story, other than it probably isn't for everyone. It has sex, but it is really about much more than sex. While the sex is arousing, the story taken as a whole is much better. If you are looking for stroke material then I advise you look elsewhere. LINK(S): | ||||||||||||||||||||||
