SUMMARY: Amber is an actress. She is having trouble with a role she is playing on a popular television program. The problem involves a scene in which she kisses another woman. The problem is that she is about to lose the role because she isn't doing a very convincing job in the kissing scene. Amber's friend, Heather, has a remedy. COMMENTARY: I like the premise for this story and I like the way the author sets it up, for the most part. It is well paced. The sex is arousing. My problem with this story is that neither Amber nor Heather face dilemmas that require most of their energy. It is entirely possible that they do, but the author chose not to focus on them. Is it unfair of me to expect their personal crises to be the focus of the story? Possibly, but I only do so because that is exactly what fascinates and titillates me the most. Should she or shouldn't she kiss Heather? What sort of a message would she be sending? What if she enjoys it? I find a story that focuses on these issues to be more interesting and enjoyable than one that focuses on relating a series of events, which is what I perceive the case to be here. Depending on how you react to the last paragraph I wrote, you may or may not enjoy this story more than I did. If you don't care for stories that involve lesbian relationships then you should probably skip this one. OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: 7.0 (out of 10)
SUBJECTIVE ANALYSIS: Very Good LINK(S):
