Janice has a very bad day. |
Commentary |
This is not a happy story. The ending shows there is some hope for
the future, but for the most part this story is very depressing. I liked the first half of this story better than I did the second. The first half seemed more alive. I could feel Janice' surroundings. In the second half, the world around her gave off less heat. That was probably due in part to her numbness. This is not a stroke story, by any stretch of the imagination. What sex there is in this story is not enjoyable. |
