COMMENTARY:
I've only read this story once so I'm not as certain
about some of the things I am going to write as I would like to
be.
The thing that strikes me the most about this story is the manner
in which it is told. Simply put, it is told from Michael's
perspective, after the fact. The author has done a masterful job
with the narration. The tension (both sexual and nonsexual) and
suspense build as the story unfolds, due in large part to the
narration.
The suspense and sexual tension are what caught my interest as I
began to read this story, but what fascinated me the most is
Michael's emotional state. He loves Lynn and doesn't want to
lose her, but he also needs to know the truth. He fears that
knowing will mean the end to their relationship, but that isn't
enough to stop him from seeking out the truth. He tries various
approaches, which usually produce inconclusive results. Most
often, the evidence leads not to answers but to more questions;
the biggest of which is WHY?
This is a superior effort. I found it both intellectually
stimulating and sexually arousing. Other than a teensy bit of
rough sex, there isn't anything that I can think of that might
bother your average reader of erotic stories. I strongly recommend
that you give it a try.
