Profile: In real life rape and abuse is evil. Fantasy can help us face our own dark side and come to terms with it.
Many of the plots for my stories are inspired by politician's sound bites and hearing what they are really saying. This especially happens when they are on the subject of juvenile crime and I have received emails from all around the world recognising the bureaucracy's that also appear in my stories. It's a sad fact that abuse can be institutionalised and made to seem to be respectable because it's legal. Maybe they don't know the difference between fact and fiction.
