Set in the same alternate universe as 'WBG, the story details what happens when a boy having his 13th birthday wants to order 'Gladi-A-Wear' – the same gear that his idols on the XB-1 Network wear as the real Boy Gladiators. Once his special present arrives, however, and his uncle helps him put it on, Xander discovers that his fantasy present has suddenly turned into harsh reality!
