Alright my friends, I'd like to thank you all for the comments, feedback,
and wonderful things you've e-mailed me with. However, over time a few
questions have come up consistently and I've thought of some that may
be burning in your minds. So.. hopefully we can use this in case you're
really wondering but don't feel the urge to e-mail me. But again, I
welcome all critiques, comments, queries and the like so please, don't
hesitate to E-mail me!
Q: What's with the intro? It takes up so much space! A: Ever had to cover your own ass? Exactly what I'm doing here honestly. It's a standard disclaimer that basically tells people that I am writing ridiculous and insane stuff, and not to try it at home. So there, if you go trying to mind control some girl and she kicks you in the balls, it is not my fault. Q: Why were some of the early parts lacking detail and description? A: Simple, author development. Understand that this is my first work of erotic fiction and getting it all right and balanced is hard. You don't want to seem long-winded, but at the same time you don't want to seem inprecise. It's a hard balance to keep. Oh, and I was inexperienced. That didn't help. Q: Why can't Alan send the commands mentally without speaking? A: Not answering that right now. You'll have to keep reading. Q: Will Alan ever mind-control a celebrity? A: In all honesty, no. Stranville is written to be a medium sized city without a lot of glitz and glamour. The likelihood of a celebrity coming there is small. Add to that the fact that it has nothing to do with the way the plot is developing and you have a good answer. Q: Will you ever write a celebrity mind control fic? A: If the mood strikes, maybe. But I wouldn't count on it unless some wet dream of an actress or model comes strutting onto the scene. Q: What's with Alan looking over his mom? Does he have a thing for her? Will he control her? A: In a word, no. Q: How many chapters of Awakened Dreams are planned? A: I'm not honestly sure. I'm estimating that the story will conclude somewhere between chapters 15-20. At least that's the way the plot looks to be unfolding for now. Q: Will there be a sequel? A: Again, I don't know that yet. I'm not even what I estimate is a third done the current story. If the characters stay engaging and fun, and there's a demand for it? I'd consider it. But we'll have to see how it plays out. Q: Do you post your stories elsewhere than on your website? A: Yes I do. There's a site called the Erotic Mind Control Story Archive which is also affiliated with ASSTR. They are the ONLY other provider of my story. Q: What if I find your story on someone else's site? A: Please e-mail me at once with the URL of the site. Honoured as I am, my intellectual property is mine. I just want people to ask my permission first. If you're willing to do that, we might even be able to work out a link exchange. Q: Why does it take you so long to write the chapters? A: Writing out a proper story arc with developing characters is hard enough in a real situation. Add to that the influence of the main character not knowing what's really going on in a lot of cases, scheming, plotting, and background thoughts on things to come.. incorporate that with flow from previous and future chapters.. editing, corrections.. and all around writer's block for long periods of time. Well.. I think you get the picture. |
