Cast of Characters
Note: “Wednesdays” is set in the real city of Boulder, Colorado. The description of the Pearl Street Mall is based on fact, but things change and grow. The characters, of course, are totally fictional and any relation to persons living or dead is totally coincidental.
For those who don´t know Boulder, NCAR is the National Center for Atmospheric Research, located at the foot of the Flatirons (a mountain feature) in a building by I. M. Pei – it´s beautiful, but it leaks. On the other hand, Tom´s is still there, and the Girl on a Swing is still waiting.
The cast, in more or less the order of appearance:
Dana Adams: International Sales Manager of a Boulder sporting goods manufacturer
Ed Figs: Dana´s partner. Has a good job somewhere in Boulder.
Rudy von Dwingelo: High-level manager at a company in Boulder.
Melanie von Dwingelo: Rudy´s wife and owner of a lingerie store on the Pearl Street Mall.
Fran Zigelski: Boulder resident.
Ned Radkus: Guidance Counselor at Boulder High School
Toni Francisco: Independent clothing designer with offices on the Mall at Broadway.
Sid Stelling: Boulder resident and, at the start of the story, partner of Jenny Reed.
Jenny Reed: Works at a routine, mid-level job at a Boulder company.
Sylvia Denton: An architect new to Boulder. Works for Jones, Jones and Schildwachter (a fictional firm), architects. Architect on a project for Rudy´s company.
Sheldon Lamont: Project manager at Rudy´s company.
Phil Bailey: Friend of Sylvia. Water lawyer in Boulder.
Phil Prokosky: President of the company Dana works for.
Candace Philburn: CFO of Dana´s company
Sandy Chang: Dana´s boss
