Welcome to my poetry section!

Ever since I was young I've been able to shift into a poetic mode and write poems as fast as I can type. It wasn't until a few years after discovering this ability that rap music was created. While I'm not a rapper, I can come up with each line with the same spur of the moment speed of a duelling rap artist. I'm not telling you that to brag, but rather to give you an idea of how naturally the words come to me.

Most of my poetry is romantic longing...since finding a relationship that lasts more than a few months has proven difficult. It's often been a case of "right woman, but wrong time" meaning that things develop passionately & suddenly...right before they have to go back to school or move across the country. OK, more details will be in the ABOUT ME section, but now you know why the poems are mostly the romantic type.

I'm also sympathetic towards others, trying to show other people the world through my eyes, and trying to define myself. So these types of poetry will also be found below.
