Spiky dyed her hair orange. Surprisingly, it looks good on her. She reminds me now of Leeloo from The Fifth Element only her hair is shorter.

It's been quiet and uneventful here lately. Spiky was sick with a cold for a few days but now she's feeling better. While she was sick we resolved what we'd do on New Year's Eve. She's decided to celebrate it with Else in her home where they'll invite their friends and have a party. I was a little disappointed but I know it'll be more exciting for her than spending another New Year's Eve with me. Maybe I'm getting too old for her because I'm tired of parties and partying. The last year's party at Monika's place was the final straw. I just want peace and quiet now even if I won't see Spiky for a few days.

Last weekend Ella called and Spiky answered the phone. At first I thought she was speaking with Monika because she was friendly and smiling. Only when she passed me the phone I realized it was Ella. She said Spiky sounded grown up and was surprised that we're still together. I don't think she was upset about it. At least she didn't sound that way. She asked me what's new and we talked about Christmas shopping. I said I'd like to see her one day before Christmas if she's not busy. I told her she can come over any day. I hope she does.
