It's Saturday afternoon and I'm home alone. Nikki called me earlier on the phone and said she's not coming over because she's going to her friend's place for a sleepover. I don't know why she changed the plans when she knew we were going to the science museum. I asked her if they wanted to have the sleepover at my place but she said she didn't want to. She asked me to pick her up tomorrow morning at her friend's home. The weather is also better so we could have gone hiking too. We could still do that tomorrow but she's got homework to do and her mom said she should stay home and study because she's got exams coming up next week. At least her school holidays are not far away when we'll have more time to ourselves. It would be great if we could get away somewhere for a couple of days around New Year's Eve.

I'll probably go out now to buy some groceries and look at the little girls along the way. Maybe I'll find one who will like to spend Saturday with me. :)
