I ended up getting sick like Nikki did but it's all behind me now. I stayed at home for a couple of days and rested until I was feeling a little better. Nikki is doing great and she's going to school and her soccer game is tomorrow so we are looking forward to that. We missed only one of our Yoga classes. There are not many things to tell about. Nikki's been spending lots of time with her friends and going out with them so I feel a little left behind. But still, I actually want her to go out more with her friends because it's good that she has close friends beside me and does things with kids her own age. I will always be here for her whenever she needs me. Maybe it sounds like our relationship is cooling off, but it's not. We are spending more time together than ever before in all these years because she's here almost every weekend and we talk on the phone every other day.

Just last weekend we were experimenting with some new hairstyles. She tried to make my hair in a different hairstyle and then I did hers. It was lots of fun. I made her hair in two odango balls on the back of her head. She was sooo cute!

We are freezing to death here. It's been raining and snowing for days and it's always around 0. I will try to write some more for the diary later. Nikki's birthday is coming up and she will be a teenager. We are both looking forward to it.
