Nikki called me today after I came home from work and she said we can go to her grandparents this weekend. She gave me her mom then to tell me which way to drive to get there. It will probably take us an hour and a half of driving but the countryside is beautiful now in the spring so I'm looking forward to our trip.

I had a long day today because we are working on a new play which will include some child actors. I hope I'll meet the girls like I did the last time.

It's a nice thought that Nikki and I could have a child together but I wouldn't want to burden her with that at such young age. At 18 she should be free to travel and go to parties and enjoy life. Even if she said she wanted it I would try to talk her out of it. There's so much more she should do before having a family. That's why I think I'll never be lucky to have a child unless we adopt one but I would be grateful even if only Nikki and I stayed together when she grows up.
