Someone told me recently that I would be a great mom! Maybe one day I will but I don't want to get too old before I have a child so I don't know if I'll ever become a mom because it should happen soon. But right now I don't see it on the horizon. Nikki is still years away from moving away from her parents and I don't have anyone else to have a family with. Maybe one day Ella and I will get back together but that would mean giving up on my friendship with Nikki which is what I don't want to do.
Last Saturday we had a birthday party here and it was nice to see some of my friends which I haven't seen for a while. Even my old ex girlfriend came, the one who knows about me and Nikki. I didn't invite Ella though. We had a great night, there was music and cake and things like that and Nikki made it even more entertaining with being chatty the way she is. She also helped me a lot with getting it all ready for the party and after they all left she helped me clean up the mess. It was well after midnight when we finally went to sleep and we slept until late on Sunday morning. On Sunday we went shopping. It's getting warmer here so we went to buy some T-shirts. We found some really cute ones for her. I bought one that has written HOT on the front and one with a red heart and a yellow butterfly. Later we went to have something to eat and we talked about kids who have two moms. I brought it up after she asked me if I know how Ella was doing. I told her I didn't hear from her and she said she missed her. Then I asked her what she thinks about having two moms and it made her giggle. She said she would like to have two moms only if they were really cool and let her do things she wanted and let her go to the movies every day and buy her lots of presents. Then she said she likes her dad too so she couldn't have two moms without losing her dad. After that we talked about her school and what we'll do next weekend. I told her we could go hiking somewhere and she said we could visit her grandparents in the country and there are also hiking trails. I told her to ask her mom and dad if we could do that and she promised to ask them. I think it would be great if I met her grandparents too. I hope the nice weather will continue until then so we can do some hiking too.
I helped her with homework on Sunday afternoon and she slept the night over as well so I took her to school on Monday before I went to work. We kissed goodbye before she left and we waved to each other and then she ran inside the school because she was late. And that's how our weekend went by.
