It might be a good idea to tell Ella about my feelings for Nikki when we go away on the trip. I probably wouldn't tell her all at once, only what I like about Nikki and how sweet she is. Maybe I could ask her what she thinks about her too. Nikki is growing up so fast and she changed a lot since she was just a little girl. I mean she's still a little girl but she will be a teenager soon and the way she dresses sometimes she looks older than she is. Maybe even Ella thinks she's sexy. I hope she does, but she has never mentioned anything like that to me before.

Ella is really fun in bed with her pierced belly button. She wants to be a punk grrl now and she said she'll cut her hair shorter and make it spiky. I'm kind of trying to discourage her because I like when she braids her piggy tails but I won't stop her if that's what she wants. We haven't been anywhere since that birthday party I wrote about. We've stayed at home most of the evenings and watched movies or surfed the Internet or went to bed early. Her dad invited us out for a dinner on 27th which is Ella's birthday so I'm looking forward to it. I still have to buy her a present and I can't make up my mind what to buy her. I would like to buy her an engagement ring. I think it would be really cool. I want to tell her how much I love her, she means so much to me.

Nikki is studying for her exams. I haven't heard from her since the last time we spoke. She stopped going to karate and is now waiting to start her soccer training next year.
