That place where Nikki and I celebrated New Year's Eve last year is really nice. It would be great to go back there this year, but I also know some other beautiful areas like that where we could go. They are all peaceful and quiet places where couples go to have a romantic holiday. I don't feel like traveling to another country right now. I'm not even certain that we could go anywhere because I haven't spoken with her mom yet and they usually have something planned for the New Year. Maybe this time it will be only me and Ella. In any case, I want to take Ella with me because we haven't been on any serious holiday together yet, and I would like to spend some nice time with her. She suggested one place where we could go hiking. There are beautiful hiking paths and mountains with nice views and a couple of little hotels where we could get a room. This reminds me, we should make up our minds soon because if we don't book the room we'll miss out. It's usually all booked out weeks before the New Year's eve.

Tomorrow night Ella and I are going out to a party because one of our friends is celebrating her birthday. I think it will be lots of fun. She lives with her girlfriend in another part of the city so it's going to take us a while to get there, but it's worth it because they're always fun to be with and we always end up having a great time. Last time we had a party with them, we came home at 4 in the morning! I also saw my ex-girlfriend, the one who knows about me. We didn't talk for long because she was in a hurry so she just asked how I'm doing. She was surprised when I told her about Ella.

Anyway, I should stop writing before Ella comes home. I'm home today because I took a day off from work. I think I'm having a cold because I don't feel very well.
