I still daydream about our sleepover and I wish we could spend our nights together more often, but it's only possible on weekends and if Nikki's parents agree to it. Nikki often has sleepovers at her home or goes out to sleepovers at her friends' places. It's very popular with girls here and they love it because they can do whatever they want. If someone has a birthday party then a sleepover is a part of it too.
I wrote earlier how my mom wanted to meet Ella. We went out on Monday for lunch close to Ella's college because she only had half an hour to spare between lectures. Mom was already waiting for us when we arrived and to my surprise everything went nice and friendly between her and Ella. We laughed and talked about some movies we saw. I've never seen her so relaxed before when we talked about my sexual preference, and this time Ella and me even held hands. I hope I wasn't pushing it too far. Later when Ella left for her lecture, mom said how she thinks Ella is a nice girl. Six months ago I would never have imagined her saying something like that, but now it seemed she changed her mind. I was curious. I asked her why, and she said she was happy I had someone to live with, someone like Ella. Then she asked me if I was still seeing Nikki, and she didn't like it when I said yes, but that's where our conversation about Nikki ended. I walked her to her car and said we should see each other more often. Later, I talked with Ella, and I asked her what she thought about my mom. She said she was pretty cool, not like I told her she was. I said she surprised me too, it was the first time I saw her so relaxed but I doubt she would be the same if she saw us last weekend when Nikki slept over! I thanked Ella for having lunch with us and for surprising Nikki with balloons on the weekend. She is a sweetheart. I love her so much!
