I just came from the hospital. Nikki is stable but she's still very sick. She has a high temperature and she can't breath very well. We don't know how she got pneumonia. It happened only a few days after we returned from our holiday so we think she didn't get it there. Her mom said she's been to the local pool with her friends and that she probably got it there because it's getting cold here and she wasn't looking after herself. She's now missing school too and it will take her some time again to catch up. Otherwise she doesn't mind too much to be in the hospital, but she gets lonely and she hates injections. Her mom and dad are there every day and I visit her after work every day. They don't know when she will be released but it will take weeks and even then she'll have to stay at home for some time before she can continue her school.
