Two ways of writing a letter about blocked drains

Dear Sir/Madam

Blocked Drains—Pinehurst Body Corporate

It came as a great disappointment to us as Trustees of Pinehurst Body Corporate that there are certain residents that deposit sanitary ware and other items in their toilets.

This practice caused blocked drains today which cost the Body Corporate a substantial amount of money.

You are urgently requested not to continue with this practice to the benefit of all the residents at Pinehurst.

Your co-operation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Blocked Drains—Pinehurst Body Corporate

We urgently requested all residents not to deposit condoms in their toilets. This has been tho direct cause of the recent blockages of our drains and needless expenditure of Body Corporate money to alleviate the problem.

Other items—such as sanitary pads, plastic, paper, rubber, etc.—are not to be flushed as this will only lead to further blockages.

Your immediate co-operation is required.
