Usenet newsgroup is the home of The Fish Tank.
The original purpose of ASSD was for the discussion of stories posted in
alt.sex.stories, but these days, writing is not a major topic of discussion.
However, most ASSD denizens do write sex stories, so writing discussions crop
up from time to time.

is Francis Ford Coppola's film company, but the website also hosts a
large, active writing community. Authors vary widely in experience, and
stories tend towards the PG-13 rating. Story feedback from other authors
is generally quite good.

is Mark Aster's literary journal of erotic writing. It is supposed to be put
out quarterly, but it tends to come out less often than that. Good stories and
good articles.
- alt.sex.stories.moderated
is a moderated Usenet newsgroup where many amateur writers post their erotic
stories. Stories vary widely in quality and subject matter.
- Alt.Sex.Stories Text Repository
is a huge web and ftp site that hosts the personal pages of hundreds of erotic
story writers. Funded by donations of readers and writers. Highly recommended.
- Stories Online
hosts erotic stories and allows readers to rate stories on a scale of one to
ten. Emphasis is on longer works, but they still host thousands of shorter
stories.
