Chapter 62 Getting Ready for Halloween
The boys were all staying at our house again the weekend after Justin's birthday party, because we had skipped doing it the previous week, at least in theory. Seeing Halloween was the following weekend, we had to get busy on the costumes for the parade, so they'd be ready in time. I had previously picked up everything we'd need to make them, so it meant we just had to put it all together and add the finishing touches to have them ready in time. I wasn't going to get into doing it on Friday night though, because I was taking the boys to the high school football game, but we'd work on the costumes both Saturday and Sunday.
The boys were all in a good mood as we headed over to the diner to eat and Auntie Ann greeted us warmly. "How are all of my nephews tonight and what are y'all up to?"
"Uncle Blake's taking us to the football game again," Andrew told her.
"And do y'all like doing that?" she followed, while looking Andrew in the eye.
"Yep, it's fun going there," he replied.
"None of us play football or are on a team or nothin'," Marcus added, "but we all like watching the games. We usually sit with some of our other friends too."
"So y'all leave poor Uncle Blake by himself?" she followed, while flashing a shocked reaction for the boys.
"Not the whole time," Justin quickly offered. "We sit with him for part of the game, but he has other people he hangs out with too, so he's not really alone." Ann glanced up at me and then smiled and winked.
"Ok, as long as y'all aren't just taking off on him," she added with a grin.
After we were seated and had ordered what we wanted, the boys decided that they probably should clarify the situation with me next. "Uncle Blake, does it bother you that we spend some of the time at the game with our friends?" Dylan wanted to know, since I think Ann had made him feel guilty.
"No, I enjoy watching the games and I've met a few other people there that I tend to sit with," I assured him. "As long as I'm able to keep an eye on you boys and know that you're not getting into trouble, then I'm fine."
They all looked relieved after I'd answered, but I'm not sure what they would have done if I had responded that it did bother me. Would they have still gone off with their friends or would they have given that up to keep me company. It was possible they might have merely decided to take turns sitting with me, with each group staying for a quarter, and then possibly all of them would remain by my side during the final period. I guess I'll never know.
This turned out to be a much better game though, but I wasn't convinced if the difference was because the other team's defense wasn't as good as the team the previous week or if our team's offense had finally gotten its act together. Either way, our team won and the boys were all smiling and dancing around when they came back to join me.
When we got to the house we immediately started the shower rotation. After washing the first pair and putting them in bed, I returned to take care of the next group. When it was finally Tyler and Dylan's turn, they were all smiles. Obviously, they had more on their minds for after we finished washing up.
"It's about time we got to do this again," Dylan quipped as we exited the shower and headed for the bedroom. "I wasn't happy that we couldn't sleep with you when I stayed over last week."
"Me neither!" Tyler chimed in. "I didn't get to sleep with you then and you wouldn't let me do it during the week either. That sucked."
"Oh my poor babies," I began in a sickly sweet tone. "I guess I'm gonna have to do something special to make up to my widdle boys for that."
"You can do something special for us, but don't make it sound like you're dealing with babies," Tyler snapped back, slightly irritated.
"Yeah, we just like spending time with you," Dylan added, as I looked at each of them.
"Or is it that you just like what I let you get away with and do for you?" I pressed, which gained a couple of sheepish grins.
"Ok, we like that too, but we like being with you as well," Dylan responded. "You're our favorite uncle."
"As far as I know I'm the ONLY uncle any of you has," I challenged, while studying their reaction.
"Ok, maybe you are, but you're still our favorite uncle too," Tyler replied, before both of them began to giggle.
After they settled down, they agreed that we'd do the triangular three-way encounter that we'd done once before, where one of us would only do something to one other person, First we'd rim one of the others doggy style and then we'd reverse direction before we laid down and sucked the other person off. Seeing they both agreed to do this, I did too and then we cuddled against each other for the rest of the night.
Everyone was still in a good mood Saturday morning, so while the boys were eating breakfast I explained what we'd be doing next. "As soon as you're done here, we're going to get started on your costumes for the Halloween parade. Are you planning to go trick-or-treating on Sunday, and if so, are you going to wear the same costumes?"
There was some quick discussion amongst the boys, as they decided if they were going to do this or not, before Tyler answered for all of them. "Yeah, we think we'd like to do that too and we'll wear the same stuff."
"Then we'll need to make a choice on the costume's design," I pointed out. "Do you want to put holes in two of the sides for your arms, or do you just want to let them dangle inside?"
"Why does that matter?" Dylan wanted to know.
"Well if you're planning to go trick-or-treating in them too, then you'll need to carry a bag for the treats," I replied. "I just need to know how you plan to carry it."
After the boys discussed this briefly, Tyler spoke up again for the group. "We think it would be too awkward to put our arms through the sides, since they probably won't be very close to our bodies, so we'll just hold the bags for the candy underneath. Just make the dice so they don't reach all the way down to our waists though, because that way our arms will hang below the bottom and we can hold the bags out to get the candy that way."
Seeing they were all in agreement, I felt their choice would be fine. We'd just have to size the boxes to their bodies, to make it happen. This wasn't a big deal though and would merely mean a little extra trimming of the cardboard.
Before we were ready to work on the costumes, I pulled both cars out of the driveway and parked them on the street, because I didn't want to take any chances on them getting splattered with paint. I was going to leave the garage door open for ventilation and to circulate the air to help them to dry, so it was a concern. I also laid down a large sheet of plastic on the garage floor to keep it from getting splattered with paint too. After doing that, I helped each boy pick out the correct size box and then I cut out a hole for his head to extend through the top and had him try it on. At that point I could see how much I might have to trim off the bottom, before we moved to the next stage, but I also wrote their name inside of it, so I'd remember which box belonged to whom.
As soon as I had cut all six of their boxes down to size, I opened a large can of white paint and handed each of the first pair a brush. I would only allow one set of partners to paint at any given time, because I wanted to keep an eye on what was going on and limit the possibility that they'd end up painting each other. As soon as that pair had finished, I checked their boxes over and helped the boys touch them up if necessary. Then we left it to dry while the next pair went to work. After all six boxes were sitting on the plastic, I took the boys inside and fed them lunch, but not until after I had checked them over first, to make sure they didn't have paint on them that they would end up bringing inside.
After we finished eating lunch, we made our way to the family room and watched the UGA football game together. I knew we had time to do this, because the paint on the boxes would still be damp. Once the game ended, I went out to the garage to check on them again, but I discovered they were still slightly tacky. After telling the boys that we'd have to finish wrapping everything up the next day. We then watched another game to pass the time.
After dinner, I dug a jar lid out of the cupboard that I would use to trace the pips onto the four sides of each die and then I set it on the kitchen counter for the next day. I'd trace the various pips onto the dice for them, but then I'd let the boys paint them black.
Since we couldn't use the time to do that now, we went outside and pulled the cars into the driveway, before closing the garage door. Then I went back to the family room and watched another football game with the boys until it was time for their shower. I took the four younger boys up at half-time and washed them quickly. Then, I had them put on their pajamas before they came back down to join us again, because it would be fairly late before the next game ended. They were fine with doing this, especially seeing I was going to let them stay up a little later than usual.
When the game finally ended, we all went upstairs. I tucked the younger boys in bed first, before I went to join Dylan and Tyler. They were waiting for me to take a shower with them, and when we finished doing that, they agreed to a repeat of what we had done the previous evening. This time, however, we ended up rimming and sucking the opposite person from the night before, so there was still a little variety involved. I guess the boys had improved enough with doing these things that they no longer felt I had to do it to each of them every time.
As soon as we finished doing that, they both cuddled against me and we got ready to sleep. Before we dozed off, Tyler whispered something in my ear. "I have something I want to ask you tomorrow night, so remind me."
I quickly glanced over at him and wondered what this might be about, since he felt he couldn't bring it up in front of Dylan, but I merely nodded my head in response. Then, I laid in bed as my mind raced over the numerous scenarios he might have in mind, until I finally fell asleep.
After I'd fed them breakfast the following morning, I told the boys they could do whatever they wanted until I came back to get them. I then explained what I was going to do and went out to the garage to get started. I carried an actual die with me when I did this, in order to make sure the costumes looked accurate. Even though I knew the opposite sides on a die always equaled seven, I wanted to make certain I had the right combinations next to one another too.
Ethan and Andrew's costumes were nearly identical, except that Andrew's had the 'one' in front of his costume and Ethan's had 'two' on it. The numbers on the four sides were exactly the same though, with 1, 2, 5 and 6, but they were just in slightly different locations. I decided to work on Dylan and Tyler's costumes next, because theirs would use the same number arrangement, but with the 'five' on the front of Dylan's and 'six' on Tyler's costume. Justin and Marcus' costumes were slightly different, since they would use 2, 3, 4 and 5, with 'three' on the front of Justin's and 'four' on the front of Marcus' costume.
When I had the circles drawn for the various pips, I called the boys out in pairs and had them paint them using small brushes. I told them to be very careful while doing this, if they wanted their costume to look good, but I was planning on touching up any goofs. They did a fairly good job though, so I had very little to correct.
This had all been accomplished before the Falcons' game started, so we went into the family room to watch that next. The boys kept shifting their seats during the game, so that each one got to spend some time either next to me or on my lap. I was honored that this seemed to mean so much to them and only left to use the toilet or get us all drinks, as well as to start fixing dinner at the half.
When the game ended, I had the other boys get ready to return home, but I told them I'd see them for the parade the following week. They were scheduled to be staying with the Cochrans that weekend, so I said I'd put their costumes in the Outback and meet them there, so I could help them get ready. They thanked me and then I drove them home.
Later that night, after I'd showered with Ethan and Marcus, Tyler came in to shower with me next. Before we headed in to do that, he asked me his question first and I didn't even have to remind him to do it.
"Last night I whispered that there was something I wanted to ask you and this is what I need to know. I remember that you told me not to ask you this, but it has been over a month now since you gave me that last dildo and you still haven't asked to check to see if I am ready or told me that you are. When are we going to finally do anything?"
I was only partially prepared for this, so I thought for a minute first, before I answered him. "You're right, but there has been a lot going on and I've been extremely busy. There were birthday parties to prepare for and to be part of, as well as another outing at the Fox Theater to plan, plus I had to get you boys ready for Halloween..."
"Ok, but can we do it now then?" he blurted out, before I had a chance to continue.
"Tyler, I'm not sure this would be a good time for you to do it, because you'll be starting basketball soon," I replied, as I tried to keep an even voice. "I don't want you walking funny before that happens and I don't want to do anything that would cause you to look bad at tryouts. Doing something that might affect how you perform at tryouts could possibly decide whether or not you end up making the team and I wouldn't want you blaming me if you got cut."
"Awww, come on! That won't happen!" Tyler spat back. "That's just an excuse."
"No, it really is one of my concerns," I replied. "It's one thing to do it using a dildo, but it's a totally different story doing it for real. I just don't want to mess things up for you." What I didn't tell him was that I wanted to be absolutely convinced his internal injuries had healed first, because I didn't want to do anything that might hurt him or cause further damage.
"So you won't do it now because of basketball, but then you won't want to do it later because of baseball, so when will we ever do it?" he demanded, sounding very annoyed and even angry.
"We'll do it when we have enough time in between so we can be sure you are all right before you return to school or get involved in sports again," I offered.
"And when will that be?" he shot back, just as tersely as before. I hesitated, but only for just a few seconds before I answered him.
"I was thinking maybe over Christmas break," I suggested, as I looked to gauge his reaction. "There's a good chance there will be no practices then, because some families go away over the break so the coaches usually give the team the time off and just have an open gym for those that stay around. That would allow us the time to do it and still give me an opportunity to make sure you're ok before you go back to school or return to practice."
Tyler suddenly seemed to calm down a little when he realized I wasn't trying to put him off indefinitely. It's also when I saw his neck muscles start to relax and when I noticed his face slowly return to its normal color.
"So you're saying we'll do it over the Christmas break then?" he pressed, just to clarify what I'd just told him.
"I hate to ruin the surprise, but I thought it would make a really nice Christmas present; one you'd really enjoy," I responded.
Before I had time to react, Tyler lunged at me, wrapped his arms around my body and began kissing me with more force and passion than he'd ever done before. It wasn't only for a few seconds either, because he kept it up for several minutes. It got to the point where I finally had to push him away, so I could catch my breath and finally speak.
"We're never going to take our shower if you don't stop this, you know," I warned. Tyler looked at me for a second and then his face broke into a smile.
"Ok, we can do that if you want, but only if you promise to rim and suck me off before you let me sleep with you," he stated, as he flashed me a smug grin.
"You're just full of demands tonight. Aren't you?" I followed, and that caused him to giggle.
"Maybe, but will you do that for me?" he reiterated, while staring at my face.
"I suppose, you little weasel," I retorted and then he immediately grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the master bath. Suddenly, he was in a hurry to get going.
After we washed each other, I did what he wanted, but then he asked to return the favor. I gave in and let him do that too, before he cuddled against me for the rest of the night. Even though we usually only did this on weekends, at least most of the time, we already seemed to be acting like an old married couple. This revelation made me wonder if a similar thought had ever occurred to Tyler.
The following week went by in a blur and it was already time for the boys to spend the weekend with the Cochrans again. Don invited me to join them when he took everyone to the football game, which I happily accepted. During the game, Don and I went over many of the details concerning the parade the next evening and then we discussed taking the boys trick-or-treating on Sunday. We'd worked everything out before the game ended, which our team managed to win again.
I was all alone that evening, but it wasn't entirely a bad thing this time. I was tired and I'd have a long day tomorrow too, but I'd also be able to spend at least some of the time with the boys each day, even though they wouldn't be staying here at the house with me.
When I woke up Saturday morning, I went out to check on the boys' costumes after I'd finished breakfast. I wanted to make sure everything was set for later and that they all looked fine. I just had to hope it didn't rain either day, because that would certainly play havoc with the cardboard that was the basis of all of our hard work. I also rounded up the other items we'd need and put everything in a bag, which I then placed in the Outback, before I went inside to take it easy for a while.
I watched college football games until it was nearly time to leave and then I went out and carefully placed each of the costumes inside the Outback. I then went over to pick up Sally next, so we could head over to meet up with the others. Most of the boys were going to ride with Don and Cherie, but I still had room for a couple of them, without endangering the delicate dice. When we got to the parade's staging area, Sally, Cherie and I quickly helped the boys apply the white clown makeup to their faces first and placed on a black beret on their heads, so they would match the die that they'd be wearing. Then, I helped each one get into his costume, while Cherie took snapshots of each pair and a couple more of the entire group together. After that, we walked them over to take their place in the parade.
The boys looked really cute as they marched off together and we heard multiple comments about what a wonderful idea it was. Someone even said that the boys looked like they'd just tumbled out of a Yahtzee game, which made us chuckle. I know Sally, Cherie and I were all pleased hearing that comment and we were sure the boys would be too, once we told them about the various things that had been said.
When we finally caught up with them again, the boys were all excited. "Wow! You wouldn't believe how many people told us they loved our costumes," Tyler gushed.
"One guy said we looked like a floating crap game," Dylan added. "I guess that's a game you play with dice." If only he knew.
"A bunch of people said we looked really cute," Justin added.
"And others wanted to know if we were all brothers," Marcus stated with a grin.
"Some of our friends liked us too," Ethan offered, seemingly pleased about this.
"And a woman said it was too bad there wasn't any prizes, because we would have won," Andrew told us, with an ear-to-ear smile.
"A bunch of people asked it we'd made our own costumes and we told them we did, but with your help," Tyler added. "They all told us we had done a great job, which made us all feel really proud!"
Sally, Cherie and I added our own observations and relayed the comments we'd heard. Hearing this made the boys even more determined to go trick-or-treating the following night. It wasn't so much that they wanted to acquire all kinds of candy, but it was mostly so they could show off the costumes they had made. We had no problem with that and agreed to let them go to a few houses in each of our neighborhoods, so their friends and neighbors could see them too.
Once we helped them take the costumes off, I placed everything in the Outback again and we followed the Cochrans back to their house. Sally and Cherie helped the boys wash the white paint off their faces, but we would end up putting it back on them again the following evening. After that, I drove Sally home and bid her goodnight. Before she got out of the car, she thanked me for doing all of these things with Andrew and commented that she'd never seen him so happy. I assured her he was a pleasure to be around and they were both more than welcome for whatever I'd done.
After being alone for another night, I got up to face the new day. It wasn't too bad, even though the boys hadn't been with me, and I was looking forward to spending a little more time with them that evening. After watching the Falcons' game, I drove over to the Cochran's house to let some of the boys ride with me. Then we all rode over to Sally's house to pick her up, because we were going to start the trick-or-treating there. The boys had a tough time holding their sacks out to collect the candy, so one of us usually had to assist them, but they didn't really mind. They were just excited about showing their costumes off to even more people and hearing their comments.
After we hit a few houses around there, we then made our way to our neighborhood next and started at the Riordans' house first. Brenda got a kick out of seeing the boys and raved about how good they looked. She was there alone though, because her husband was busy taking their daughters around at the same time. As soon as we hit a few other places nearby, we loaded up again and drove over to where the Cochrans lived.
Don and Cherie led the boys around to a few places close by their house and then we said goodbye to Justin and Dylan. I let the boys keep their costumes and told them they could do with them as they pleased, which made both boys happy. Then I dropped Sally and Andrew off at home, while giving Andrew his costume too, before I took my group home. Once we got back, I had them drop their costumes off in the garage and then we went upstairs to take our showers. Tyler washed his face off quickly while Ethan and Marcus were getting undressed and then I took the younger boys into the shower and cleaned them up.
They couldn't seem to stop talking the entire time and told me over and over again about what a great time they'd had on both nights and repeated some of the comments people had made to them. After I finally got them clean and had put them in bed, I went back to repeat the process with Tyler.
He wasn't quite as bad as the younger pair, but he was still pretty excited about the weekend too. As I was trying to wash him, he had something he wanted to say to me too.
"I want to thank you for helping us with everything and for making the whole thing possible," he began. "We all had a blast and I've never had that much fun on Halloween before, even when I was younger."
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed yourself," I replied. "I'm also glad Dylan came up with the idea too, because it turned out really good!"
"But it still wouldn't have happened without all of your help," he repeated. I wasn't sure why this was so important to him, but I didn't want to take too much of the credit.
"I'm sure you would have worked something out without me, but I'm glad I was able to help," I confessed. "You boys were simply adorable dressed up like that."
"Yeah, lots of people said that to us," Tyler admitted.
As soon as he finished washing me, we dried off, brushed our teeth and then went out to get in bed. Tyler asked me if I'd rim him again, which I readily agreed to do, and then he wanted us to sixty-nine. I had no problem with that either, and before long our heads were bobbing up and down in rapid succession, like two woodpeckers pecking holes in a tree.
Tyler was the first to reach the end of the line and painted my tonsils with his creamy nectar, but I held off for a little longer. When I finally pulled into the station beside him, I filled him with a bigger load than I'd produced in a very long time. I'm not sure if I had really been that horny, if he'd done a better than usual job or if I was just inspired by who had helped me have my orgasm. I could no longer deny that I loved Tyler more than life itself and hoped he never changed his mind about wanting to remain with me.
Chapter 63 Making the Team
We slipped into November and it started with Tyler and Dylan trying out for the basketball team. Since we had been busy over Halloween weekend and the boys had been focused on getting the costumes ready for the parade and trick-or-treating, the older pair had completely forgotten to worry about the tryouts. In fact, Tyler was just about ready to leave the house on Monday morning when he finally remembered about it and had to race upstairs so he could throw the items he would need into his gym bag. He then raced back downstairs and bolted out the front door just in time to catch his bus. Later, I heard Dylan fared slightly worse, because he had to call home and ask his mother to bring his things to the school for him, so he wouldn't miss the first day of tryouts.
Luckily, I hadn't forgotten this was going to happen, so I'd asked Brenda Riordan if she would watch Marcus and Ethan until I got home. I explained there might be nights when Marcus wouldn't be there as well, especially if he got involved in the intramural basketball league. She said that would be fine, so at least I was set on this end. My job would be another matter, since I knew there might be times when I would need to leave work early again so I could attend one of Tyler's away games. I wouldn't be going to all of them, but I wanted to watch as many as possible.
I'd also arranged with Cherie that we would alternate picking the boys up from their practices, including when Justin and Marcus started playing too. Their practice weren't something we could show up and watch, like we had with the baseball practices, so doing this would prevent both of us from sitting around while waiting for them to finish up. She was pleased with the idea and so was I, but I had also volunteered to pick the boys up the first night. I was waiting out front when the pair came staggering out of the building.
"That was really rough," Tyler wheezed as he crawled into the front seat. "The coach made us run a lot today, so he could see who was in shape and wouldn't get tired out easily during a game."
"I didn't expect to do that much running right away and it took a lot out of me," Dylan piped up from the backseat.
"So how do you think you did?" I followed, somewhat curious.
"I think we did ok for the first day, but we didn't scrimmage or nothin' like that," Tyler informed me. "We mostly ran lay-up, passing and shooting drills, so we did good at those. I think Coach Jackson was impressed at how well we could dribble and shot lay-ups with our left hand too, just like you said."
"Yeah, there were only a couple of other guys that could do it too, so I think it moved us up a little higher on the coach's list," Dylan added. "He even told the other guys that they would have to learn how to do it and get as good as we were, so I'm glad you made us do it first."
Since they felt good about how the first day went, I was pleased. After I dropped Dylan off at his place, I drove home and sent Tyler over to get his brothers while I started dinner. They came back a few minutes later, with each one greeting me as he walked through the door.
"I checked today and me and Justin won't be starting basketball for two more weeks," Marcus announced. "It will only take place on Tuesday and Thursday though. Our P.E. teacher told us we'll practice every Tuesday and then have a game on Thursday, but we won't have any games until after Thanksgiving."
"So your P.E. teacher is going to do all of this?" I asked, since I didn't understand how this would work.
"No, some of the basketball players from the high school are going to come down to coach us and some other players will be the refs for our games," Marcus replied. "Mr. Penoyer is only going to be there to make sure there are no problems and to help the older boys if they need it."
"Oh, ok," I mumbled, since that made sense. It was also nice that the older boys were going to be helping the younger ones out. They probably had time to do this, since their practices most likely weren't held until later in the day, because the gym was used for many things, both for the boys and the girls. "Just make sure you tell all of this to Mrs. Riordan too, so she knows what to expect."
"Ok, I'll do that tomorrow," Marcus agreed.
"Ethan, I want you to remind your brother if he forgets," I added and Ethan smiled. He liked that I gave him this responsibility.
The rest of the evening went pretty much as usual, as the boys went off to finished whatever homework they had after we ate.
The following night Cherie picked the boys up after practice and dropped Tyler off at the house. I noticed he didn't look quite as tired this time, so I asked him how things went.
"We ran a lot of the same stuff as yesterday, but we didn't do so much running first," he explained. "We also ran some offensive and defensive drills, but then Coach Jackson had us play some two-on-two against each other, so he could see how we did. He told us who was going to be in each group, so me and Dylan never got to play together."
"But how do you think you did?" I pressed, since he hadn't told me that.
"We did good," he answered. "There are about 30 boys trying out and the coach said he'll probably only keep 12, so me and Dylan are still kind of worried about making the team."
"Just do your best, and if those other boys at Dylan's party were correct, then you should make the team," I offered, trying to give him a little moral support.
The rest of the week went basically the same, with me quizzing Tyler each night about how he had done at the tryouts. Both he and Dylan felt they were doing well, but they were still nervous wrecks about making the team. They still didn't know if they'd made it or not when Dylan and Justin showed up on Friday to spend the weekend with us. If they were this stressed out now, how the hell were they going to react if they got cut?
After seeing how they were moping about, I told them there was no sense in worrying about things they had no control over. I also reminded them that they had done their best, so now they would have to live with the coach's choices. They had a practice tomorrow morning and the coach promised that he would have the list of who made the team posted before they finished their showers, so they should know whether or not they made the team by tomorrow afternoon.
In order to keep them from thinking about this, I decided to take them to the diner to eat, because it would give me a chance to talk to Ann and it would help to distract them too. She was very chatty this evening, because their business was kind of slow when we got there, and she asked the boys how they were and what things they were working on now.
"You know, I saw y'all at the Halloween parade," she announced, which surprised us because none of us had seen her there. "My sister called and told me y'all were going to be in it, so I talked my boss into letting me go for a little while so I could see ya in your costumes."
"But why didn't you come talk to us then?" Marcus pressed, before anyone else could say something.
"Because I was only taking a break, so I had to hurry back here to finish work," she explained. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to stick around and chat with y'all afterward."
"That's ok, Auntie Ann," Andrew assured her, with the others quickly chiming in their agreement.
"Yeah, it was really nice of you to do that just so you could see us in our costumes," Justin added.
"Well I like to keep track of what my nephews are up to," she stated, which brought a big smile to each of their faces.
By the time we left there, Dylan and Tyler had calmed down slightly, thanks to Ann helping to take their minds away from their worries. When we got home, we decided to watch a college football game next, since the high school's regular season had ended and the playoffs wouldn't start until the following week. The boys all seemed fine with the idea, plus it gave the older pair something else to focus on.
During halftime, I took the younger boys upstairs to shower and had them get dressed in their PJs before coming downstairs again. This way I could hurry them off to bed when the game ended and then turn my attention to the older pair.
Andrew, Ethan and Marcus fell asleep before the game ended, so Dylan and Tyler carried the younger boys upstairs for me, while I carried Marcus.
"I bet you're glad I didn't fall asleep too," Justin joked, as he followed us upstairs.
"It wouldn't have been too bad," I replied. "I would have just had to come back downstairs so I could carry you up to bed too." Justin smiled at me and his expression seemed to say that he knew I'd take care of him too.
Once they were tucked in bed and I had kissed them goodnight, I went with Dylan and Tyler, so we could shower together next. While we were doing that, they began asking each other what they'd do and how they'd work it out if one of them made the team and the other one didn't, so I decided to put a quick end to this discussion.
"You're almost clones of each other, and that includes skill-wise at basketball too, so I don't see that happening," I told them with the utmost sincerity. "What you might want to start thinking about instead is what you're going to want to do once we get in bed."
That was all it took to get their minds focused on more pressing matters, as they began tossing suggestions back and forth with each other. It wasn't so much about WHAT we were going to do, but more about who was going to do what to whom instead. They eventually agreed that this time they wanted me to rim and suck them both off, while they negotiated who was going to do which to me. It didn't take very long to settle those issues, but it was all they could think about as we finished washing each other. As soon as we'd dried off and brushed our teeth, they practically sprinted to the bed, since they were so eager to get started.
It had been agreed upon that I would do Tyler first this time, so he quickly got into position with his knees drawn back to his chest. He had the biggest shit-eating grin on his face as I got ready to rim him and he let out a loud moan when my tongue made contact with the area. He seemed to be whimpering and moaning the entire time I was working on him, and it didn't stop when I moved up to suck him off afterward. Even though it had only been a week since we'd last done this, he seemed to need it more tonight, which might have been due to his mental state and being worried about making the team.
As soon as I moved away from Tyler, I allowed him to enjoy his post-orgasmic buzz and Dylan immediately got into position for me to do it to him next. He quickly pulled his knees back to his chest as well, because even though we had done this doggy style on occasion, both boys still seemed to prefer it this way best. I had no problems doing it this way either, since I could watch their faces and appreciate their reactions as I was working on them.
Dylan seemed to need this just as much as Tyler had and most likely for the same reasons. He was, however, slightly more active in assisting my efforts than Tyler had been, even more than was usual for him, although he had never been a passive participant in anything we'd done together. He was usually pretty vocal too, but tonight he seemed to be cooing instead and he sounded like a flock of contented pigeons after I'd dived into his back door. He always seemed to enjoy this activity the best and it had obviously become his favorite thing to do, although he still liked to get sucked off too. I did that for him next, but there was just something about him being rimmed or rimming someone else that he seemed to appreciate more than most.
As soon as he'd cum in my mouth, I got up to get a drink. Even with his tasty offering, my mouth was very dry from having serviced both of them. By the time I got back to the bed, Dylan was coming down from his post-climactic haze and hurriedly scrambled to his knees so he would be ready to rim me next. He had me get on my back and pull my knees to my chest too, and then he attacked me like a starving raptor. He didn't use his teeth or claws, but he used his tongue effectively instead, as he carried out the other side of the activity that he enjoyed so much.
While Dylan was doing that, Tyler began to nibble on my ears and neck, before he moved to my mouth and we started to make out in earnest. Tyler had always been a very good kisser and I could always feel his passion and joy when we did this. I have always wondered if he kissed Dylan and others the same way or if these particular actions were reserved only for me.
When Dylan finished up, the boys switched places so Tyler could suck me off. Dylan decided to work on my nipples while Tyler did this, rather than kiss me, and he ran his tongue over the first one, before he nipped at it briefly with his teeth and then he started to suck on it. After doing that for a while, he moved over and repeated the process on the other nipple next, but he stopped working on me after I had my orgasm. The boys then snuggled against my side and we fell asleep, as content as cows after being milked.
We all woke up in a good mood in the morning too and started our day out cheerfully. After breakfast, I took Dylan and Tyler to their practice, but since I couldn't go in to watch them, I merely returned home with the other boys. As soon as we got back, I asked the younger group what they wanted to do today and Andrew and Ethan quickly told me they had planned to watch cartoons in the family room. Justin and Marcus informed me that they preferred to go outside and practice basketball instead, since they wanted to be ready when the intramural program started.
Justin and Dylan had brought their new basketballs with them this time and Justin was anxious to use his. I agreed to do this with them, since they'd both been very vocal when announcing their choice. I just had to keep an eye on the time so I wouldn't be late picking up their brothers. I was a little surprised at how competitive Justin and Marcus were getting, since they wouldn't have to tryout to make a team. All of the boys signing up for the intramural league would merely be split up into teams, so they'd all be on one, but these two were obviously more concerned about becoming starters and possibly even having their team declared the champs. I made a mental note to discuss this with them later so they didn't get too carried away, but for now we would just focus on their skills.
Both of them were definitely getting better and I praised each one on how much they had improved. They smiled at me when I did this, because they were pleased that I noticed and thought it was worth mentioning, but it also made them work even harder at whatever we did next. They certainly weren't slouches when it came to athletics and Marcus reminded me that his father had also been very competitive when it came to similar activities.
As I thought back to my days with Matt, I remembered that he'd been extremely competitive at everything he did. It wasn't just with sports either and sometimes it irritated his other friends when he would turn everything into a competition. Any game, even a simple board or card game, became a war of sorts, in which he was determined to become the victor. I thought I'd mention this to Marcus and Tyler sometime too, although maybe this wasn't the best time to do it.
After we took a break from working on basketball, I went to pick up their brothers. I couldn't help but notice that they were both beaming as the came through the doors of the school, so I saw it as a good sign. As soon as they noticed me, they sprinted over to the car, jumped inside and immediately began to speak.
"We both made the team," they announced in unison, nearly bursting with joy at the same time.
"All of the guys that were at my party and had played last year made the team too," Dylan added without hesitation. "We're gonna have a really good team."
"Congratulations!" I offered simply.
"This is what we both wanted and we're sooo happy right now," Tyler added. Their faces were nearly splitting in two because of the huge grins that was plastered across them.
"That's great and I'm really pleased for you," I told them. "How were the guys that got cut holding up?"
"Some of them kinda of knew they would be cut, but some of the others took it pretty hard," Tyler answered. "I felt really bad for them, because I knew I would have felt that way too. Most of them took off really quick when they didn't find their names on the list, because I think they didn't want cry in front of everyone else."
"It's never easy to get cut, so I understand how they probably felt, but I'm glad you boys made the team," I confirmed. "Your hard work and dedication has definitely paid off."
"But it wouldn't have happened if you hadn't been helping us," Dylan observed as we started out for home. "Coach Jackson told us he was surprised at how good we were, since we'd never played on a team before, but he told me and Tyler that we would need to learn the team offense and defense now. They are the same ones the other boys used last year, so those guys pretty much know what they are doing, so me and Tyler will have to catch up."
"You are both smart and should be able to catch on what the team is doing quite quickly," I offered while looking each one in the eye. "If you work as hard there as you did with me, then I have no doubt you'll catch up to the others with that too."
My answer seemed to please them, so they were in a fairly good mood when we got to the house. Justin and Marcus were still working on their basketball skills when we pulled up, but they stopped what they were doing and came over to see how their brothers had made out. After Dylan and Tyler explained it to them, Justin and Marcus congratulated their brothers in return.
"Dylan, before you do anything else," I suggested as we went inside, "why don't you call your mom and dad so you can tell them the good news too."
"Yeah, that's a good idea," he agreed, and then he went off to make the call.
When he finished doing that, the older boys came to get me so we could watch a college football game together. When we got to the family room, Ethan and Andrew were still watching one of their shows, but the football game had already started too. I had to act as referee for a couple of minutes, since the other four were urging me to switch the channel over to the football game, but Ethan and Andrew wanted to finish watching their show first.
Since this was creating a problem, I pulled the four oldest boys aside and explained that it wouldn't be fair to the younger pair to make them miss the end of the show they had been watching. After thinking about it briefly, those four finally agreed with me, so they went to the kitchen to get a drink while we waited for the program to end. It would only be another fifteen minutes before that happened and I told them the first quarter probably wouldn't even be over by then.
UGA was playing a night game, so they wouldn't be on until after dinner, but there were plenty of other games that interested us before then. All six boys were eager to do this now, so we got comfortable on and around the sofa as we watched the action on the screen. During the commercials, the boys started quizzing me about when the college basketball season would be starting. I quickly explained that it would probably be getting underway the following weekend, but league play and most of the better games wouldn't happen until after the first of the year. They were ok with that, but they also made sure I understood that they wanted to watch some of the early games too.
Once the football game ended, we watched another one, but some of the boys left to do other things instead. I started dinner at halftime and then fed the boys after that game ended. Then, I took the youngest group upstairs to take their showers before the UGA game started. I knew they'd be too excited to do this later, plus it would be getting late, so I wanted them ready for bed before that happened.
We were all back in the family room again before the game got underway and it turned out to be a really exciting contest against Auburn. UGA played fantastic in the second half and pulled the game out in the final quarter for the win. I didn't have to worry about anyone falling asleep this time, but it didn't have anything to do with whether or not they were tired. The noise from the cheering and jumping around was more than enough to keep the younger boys awake, even if they had started to drift off at various times. When the game ended, I took the four little ones upstairs, tucked them in and kissed each one goodnight. I think a couple of them were asleep before I'd even shut the bedroom door.
Dylan and Tyler were waiting for me again and the late hour wasn't about to deter them from having a little fun after we'd finished washing each other. They wanted a repeat of what we had done the previous night, so I went along with their request. I was actually glad that the younger boys had been so tired, because Dylan and Tyler were very vocal tonight, more than usual, but I was convinced the younger ones would sleep through whatever commotion these two were making.
Once we were all sexually sated, they cuddled against me and quickly drifted off to sleep. I did the same thing a few moments later, because I was nearly as tired as they were. I was looking forward to tomorrow too, since I no longer had to worry about Dylan and Tyler fretting about whether they would make the basketball team. I was grateful for that, but I was also excited about spending more time with all of them.
On Sunday, the four older boys wanted to practice basketball again before the Falcons' game, so Ethan and Andrew agreed to stay inside and watch the Disney channel. I worked with the boys until game time and then we went inside and prepared to watch the Falcons play.
The team didn't do very well today and they wound up losing the game. It was kind of a downer for us, but since it was time to take the boys home it helped us to overcome our mild funk. Cherie came out to speak with me when I dropped Justin and Dylan off and made an announcement.
"I've been chatting with Sally and we decided it would be a good idea if all of our families celebrated Thanksgiving together this year," she advised me. "The only one with any relatives nearby is Sally and we decided we could invite Ann to join us too, since we all know her. What do you think of the idea?"
"I think it's a wonderful idea, because I wasn't sure what I was going to do yet," I replied. "I've never cooked a turkey before, so I was going to ask your advice about that anyway, so this would be great. Just tell me what you want me to do."
"We talked about that too and Sally and I agreed that since you have done so much for our families already and have spent so much on our sons that we'll buy the food and fix everything," she explained. "We just want to know if you'll let us use your house to do this, since you have the most room. Don and I have a banquet table we can bring over and set up for the kids in your living room, while the rest of us eat in the dining room. What do you think?"
"I have no problem with that," I concurred, "but don't you have to start the turkey early?"
"Yes, you do, but Sally and I will come over Wednesday night to get everything ready and then I'll come over while it's still dark out the following morning to start the turkey," she confirmed.
"In that case, remind me to give you an extra house key so I don't need to get up to let you in," I quipped in return and Cherie began to laugh.
"Yes, I suppose that would probably work out best," she agreed.
"What about the boys? Whose weekend would that be?" I asked, since I wasn't sure.
"It's our weekend, so we'll take the boys Friday and Saturday night," she confessed, "but would you mind if I asked you for another favor?"
"Sure. What would that be?" I wondered, mildly confused.
"Since Sally and I will have so much to do to get dinner ready for the next day, we were wondering if the boys could stay with you Wednesday and Thursday nights?" she announced. "That way we won't have to worry about them while we're preparing the food and we won't have to drag them home later, since they'll probably be stuffed and tired. Don can take care of himself, so that won't be a problem either. You can bring all of the boys over to our house Friday afternoon and then we'll keep them until Sunday."
"That sounds like a plan to me, so as Captain Picard would say, 'Make it so, Number One'." I teased in response.
"Who is that?" she shot back, unfamiliar with the reference.
"I take it you weren't a big Star Trek fan then," I stated, while studying her face. "Well I was and that was a reference to one of the Captain's favorite sayings."
"Oh, ok, so I guess we'll have Thanksgiving together then," she added, while watching me to make sure I agreed.
"Yes, and I'll tell Sally what we've agreed to when I drop Andrew off in a few minutes," I advised her, so she wouldn't do it too.
"That's great and this should be fun," she beamed. "I always enjoyed being part of big family meals and we're all like family anyway, so this should work out fine. I have no doubt that the boys will like this arrangement as well."
"I'll second that motion," I agreed, before I took off. The only one who had heard any of this was Andrew, but I was sure we'd have a chance to fill the other boys in before he had a chance to do it.
I spent a few minutes chatting with Sally when I got to her place and she was happy everything was working out. I told her to make sure Ann joined us too, because I didn't want to think of her being left out or all alone. Sally assured me that would never happen, because they spent all of the holidays together and this one would be better than most.
When I got home, I explained to the boys what I'd just agreed to and they were all thrilled. They especially liked the idea of their friends staying with us Wednesday and Thursday, but they'd also be with them over the weekend too, but at the Cochrans' house.
"It will probably be a really good meal too," Tyler threw in, once he knew what was happening.
"Are you implying that my meals aren't good?" I challenged, while giving him a confused glare.
"No, but I'm sure Aunt Cherie, Aunt Sally and even Auntie Ann will make a bunch of different stuff than what we usually have," he answered, and I had to agree he was correct. Besides, I was glad they were so excited about doing this as well.
"I hope the stuffing tastes like Mommy's stuffing," Ethan added, as I glanced at him and noticed the sad expression that had suddenly appeared on his face. "That was my favorite thing, next to the turkey."
"And I hope somebody makes the butternut squash casserole that Mommy used to fix for us at Thanksgiving ," Marcus quickly chimed in, as his expression took on the same sad and reflective look that was currently on his younger brother's face. "I really liked that a lot."
"I just hope someone makes a sweet potato pie," Tyler offered, and I noticed that his eyes were beginning to water a little as he spoke. "Most people like pumpkin pie better, but I liked the sweet potato pie that Mom made the best. It won't be the same if we don't have that."
In just the past couple of minutes, the feeling in the room had completely changed and made a 180-degree turn. Where there had once been smiles and a spirit of light-hearted joking, it was now replaced by a sense of loss and a collection of tears that were slowly making their way down the cheeks of my young wards. Not only that, but it seemed as if all of the oxygen had been sucked out of the room, which now made it difficult for any of us to breathe. I was suddenly left to figure out how to stem the tide of this sudden depressive mood that had so quickly overcome them and what I could do to improve their outlook again.
"I'm sure there will be some differences, but I'll look around to see if I can find the recipes your mother used to prepare those items for you," I stated, as I gradually pulled all three to me and embraced them in a group hug. "I'll do my best to try to make those things for you, just the way your mother did, but I'm sure they won't be quite the same. Just remember that we can never replace your mom and dad, so you'll have to keep the good memories you have of them in your minds and hearts, but I know your parents would still want you to be happy, even if they aren't here any longer."
This seemed to help a little, but we still spent the rest of the day together, since none of the boys seemed willing to go very far away from me. I couldn't move without first taking a moment to make sure I didn't step on or jostle anyone when I moved, or even worse yet, to leave someone behind when we started doing something new. They clung to me nearly as securely as skin-tight clothing, but I understood why they were doing it and tried my best to provide the love and support they currently needed.
After our showers, I even suggested that they could all sleep with me that night, since I felt it might eliminate the chance of them having bad dreams. If it still happened, at least they'd be close by and I could get to them quickly, so the nasty visions wouldn't last very long. In the end, Ethan and Marcus slept next to me and Tyler cuddled up against Ethan, but he also reached an arm across Ethan's body so he could touch me too.
We somehow managed to make it through the night with only some mild restlessness and an occasional moan or incoherent mumble, but none of the boys ever woke up. That made me wonder how they might have handled things if I hadn't allowed them to sleep with me. Maybe it was better if we never found that out.
Although each one still appeared slightly down when I first woke them, they all got up and got ready for school without any complaints. Even after I'd seen them off on their buses, I couldn't help but wonder how they would handle the rest of the day. I continued to think about each of them all day long, but I never received a call from either school, so hopefully they had all been distracted from their previous concerns. I was still somewhat anxious to get home after work so I could be with them again, but I took my time on the drive and didn't rush, since I felt it would be best not to risk an accident.
When I arrived at the house that evening, I went next door and brought the younger pair back with me. They both seemed fine so I didn't say anything, because I was worried it would only rekindle the problem, and started fixing dinner instead. Both boys seemed fine and had apparently put their other concerns behind them, which left me amazed by their resilience. I was still in the kitchen when Tyler came bursting in later.
"It was a great practice and the coach had me and Dylan learn both the guard spots on offense!" he shouted even before he said hello, so he had obviously forgotten about the previous night as well. "Coach Jackson says we'll get our uniforms soon, because we have a couple of games before Thanksgiving. I'm really excited!"
After saying this, Tyler began jumping around and dancing in joy. His brothers laughed at the way he was acting, but it didn't faze Tyler though. He was in too good of a mood to let anyone spoil this for him.
The rest of the week went smoothly too, since none of them had anything to worry about other than his schoolwork. Before we knew it, it was Friday night and the boys were spending the weekend with the Cochrans'. I was glad that Don had decided to take the boys to the football team's playoff game, because he also invited me. I was thrilled that I'd get to spend a little more time with the boys, but our team wound up losing the game. The loss ended their season too and all of the boys were a little bummed out about it. It didn't take them long to get over that feeling though, because they decided they were more than ready to move on to basketball season instead. Sometimes short attention spans are a good thing.
Chapter 64 Another Sport's Season
The boys spent Saturday and most of Sunday at the Cochrans' house and didn't arrive home until just before dinnertime. They apologized for being late, but said they were caught up in the NFL game they were watching with Uncle Don on TV and didn't want to leave until it was over. I told them that was fine and I'd been busy as well, so we didn't discuss it further.
After we ate, I made sure the boys had their homework done and had everything they would need to take with them in the morning. Tyler would have practice and I reminded him that I would be picking him up after practice.
"And I should have my uniform by the time you get there," Tyler informed me and I could see the excitement on his face. "I'll try it on for you when we get home, so you can tell me how it looks. We have our first game on Friday and I want to make sure I look good in it."
"I'm sure you'll look fine, but I promise to give you my honest opinion," I responded and he seemed satisfied with my answer.
After I'd showered with Ethan and Marcus and put them to bed, Tyler came in to shower with me next. He seemed to be an unbridled mass of nerves again, although I wasn't quite sure why, except that he was thinking ahead to his first game. Since I could see he was so wound up, I made a decision.
"If you want, I'll let you sleep with me tonight," I offered and he smiled in return.
"And you'll do something with me too?" he asked, looking at me with a hopeful expression.
"Maybe something quick," I conceded. "Remember, we'll be getting up early."
"I know, so we'll sixty-nine," Tyler countered and I nodded my head in agreement.
We did that quickly and both of us got our rocks off before going to sleep. Then, we enjoyed a very relaxing slumber.
Tyler and I both got up when the alarm went off in the morning and then I sent him over to wake up his brothers, while I went downstairs to fix breakfast. I told him to make sure they were all dressed and had everything they'd need for school, because I didn't want to be racing around looking for things when their bus came. He said he'd do that and I headed to the kitchen.
The boys came downstairs ready for the day to begin, so I fed them quickly, as I gulped down something with them. I asked Tyler if he had everything he'd need for practice, just to be sure, and he said he did. After I kissed them goodbye and told them to have a good day, I sent them out to get on their buses and I took off for work.
The day was pretty uneventful and I was soon heading home. I went home first to pick up the younger boys from the Riordans' house and we spent some time at home first, before I had them get in the Outback and we set out to pick up Dylan and Tyler. We had to wait about fifteen minutes before they came out, but they jogged directly for us and hopped inside.
"We got our uniforms today," Dylan announced, as soon as he was inside.
"Yes, Tyler told me you were going to get them," I confirmed.
"I got number 21 and Tyler is 22," Dylan added. "I wish I could go home with you so I could show you how I look in it."
"I plan on coming to your game on Friday, so I'll see you in it then," I offered, since I knew I had to get the boys home and fed.
"Yeah, ok," Dylan conceded shortly before we arrived at his house and he got out. "Thanks for the ride and I'll see you again on Wednesday."
"Ok and have a good night," I told him, since I'd be picking them up on Wednesday too.
"You know me and Justin start basketball this week too," Marcus chimed in, once Dylan was gone. "We'll be practicing on Tuesday and Thursday."
"I remember, but Aunt Cherie will be picking you boys up this week, since those are her days," I informed him, so he'd know what was happening. "My only question is, how is this going to work, since you'll be using the same gym the older boys use too."
"When we have a game or practice, the other boys practice at the elementary school," Marcus answered. "It's not a big deal though, because that gym is just as nice as the middle school gym."
"Yes, I remember it was a nice facility too," I agreed.
"But we'll only practice there for now, because we don't got no games until after Thanksgiving," Marcus added.
"You don't HAVE ANY games," I repeated, correcting his poor grammar. Up until now, I hadn't been correcting the boys when they misspoke, but I thought it was time I started to make up for that oversight. "And yes, I remembered that too and it will allow you to have four practices before your first game," I added to let him know that I had been listening and remembered what he'd told me earlier as well.
"Yeah, I think this week is so they can see who's good and who's not so good and then they'll pick our teams," Marcus informed us. "Then the next two practices will be with our team, before we play our first game."
"That should work out well then," I agreed, earning me a smile.
When we got home, I began fixing dinner while the boys started their homework. Before long, Tyler came into the kitchen wearing his basketball uniform.
"How do I look?" he wanted to know, so I inspected his get up. The shorts were baggier than what I'd worn, but that seemed to be the style now, and the shirt was a little big on him too, but he still looked good.
"You look like you're ready to go in the game," I answered. It brought a smile to his face, but I could also tell something was bothering him.
"Do you think it needs to be altered?" he followed, giving me a questioning look.
"That's a question you should ask your coach," I countered. "That's school property and I wouldn't want to do anything to it without permission first. Besides, it may be a little big on you now, but I'm sure it won't hinder your game."
"Ok, if you say so," he replied, before he went upstairs to take it off again.
The rest of the night and the next few days went basically as usual, with the boys going to school, and then those involved in basketball having their practices and coming home to take care of any homework afterward. After his first practice on Tuesday, Marcus had a lot to tell me during dinner.
"Me and Justin had talked it over and decided we were going to shower after practice," he announced. "We were the only ones doing it and a bunch of the other boys were staring at us at first. Then one of the older coaches yelled out so everyone else could hear."
"Hey, we've got a couple of cool little dudes here," the older boy said. "They aren't worried about others seeing them without anything on and are brave enough to shower after working out. That's very smart of you. A lot of guys are dumb and go right outside after getting all sweaty and then they cool down too quickly and wind up getting sick. Then they wonder why it happened. Me and the other coaches are proud of you. We all take showers after practices and games too, so good job!"
"I think most of the other guys will start taking showers now too, since he said that," Marcus added. "Some of them came over and talked to us while we were drying off and said they didn't think about bringing a towel, but they would next time." I could see he was thrilled about that possibility. In fact, after he got home on Thursday, he announced that more than half of the guys showered this time, especially the ones that had come to his and Justin's birthday parties.
Before I knew it, it was Friday and I hurried home to pick up Ethan and Marcus, so we could all go to Dylan and Tyler's game. We spotted Cherie and Justin almost immediately, so we went over to sit with them.
We watched the team warm up and commented on how they looked and then we compared them with their opponents. The two teams looked to be pretty evenly matched, although the other team had one boy that seemed a head taller than anyone on our team. At that age it might not be such a big advantage though, because it was possible his coordination hadn't caught up to his growth spurt yet, so he might not be that big of a threat.
When the game started, Dylan and Tyler were sitting on the bench. It wasn't that surprising, seeing eight of the twelve boys on the team had played the previous year too, so they were already familiar with the offensive and defensive schemes. Tyler came in the game first and Dylan got in a short time later, but they both saw action in the first half. I thought they both played fairly well, although neither scored, but they made a couple of assists and collected some rebounds, but they each had a steal too. Overall, I was impressed with how the team played, even though they were down 2 points at the half.
Don had showed up just before the first half ended, since he wasn't able to leave work early. He came over and sat with the rest of us and we filled him in on what he'd missed. By the time we finished doing that, the teams were back out warming up for the second half.
Coach Jackson started the same players in the second half, but the defense seemed to be playing better. Obviously the coach had noticed something about the other team's offense and had made some slight changes, which seemed to be working well. Dylan and Tyler both saw action in the second half too, beside getting in the scorebook. Dylan intercepted a pass and then drove and scored on a layup, but he also scored a couple of free-throws after that, while Tyler made a couple of jumpshots. In the end, our team won by four points and I'd been really impressed by the play of the boys that I'd met at Dylan's birthday party.
"Great game!" Marcus and Justin shouted when their brothers walked over to speak with us.
"Thanks. We did all right," Tyler stated in response.
"The entire team played well and we were just glad we got to play in both halves," Dylan added.
"Do we have time to take a shower?" Tyler wanted to know next.
"Sure. Go ahead," I advised them. "You're all spending the weekend with us, so it's not a problem."
Cherie had Justin follow her out to the car so he could grab the things he and Dylan would need for later and we put everything in the Outback. Shortly after we'd finished doing that, Dylan and Tyler came out, changed and ready to get going.
We left the school and headed directly over to pick up Andrew next, before going to the diner. Ann greeted us as we walked in and seated us in a booth.
"How are y'all tonight?" she asked the boys as she was pouring the water.
"We're great!" Dylan answered quickly. "Me and Tyler made the school basketball team and we had our first game after school."
"And did y'all win?" Ann followed with a smile.
"Yep, by 4 points," Tyler chipped in. "We didn't start, but we got to play in the game."
"Good for both of y'all," Ann responded. "I have no doubt that y'all will be good players."
"And me and Justin start next week," Marcus added, not wishing to be left out. Ann smiled at them and nodded her head in approval.
After we placed our orders, the boys turned their attention to me. "The J.V. and Varsity teams have a game tonight at the high school, so could we go watch them play?"
"Is that what the rest of you boys want to do?" I asked, looking around the table.
"I've never been to a basketball game before," Andrew told us, as he looked at me slightly confused.
"It will be fun and you'll get to learn about basketball so you'll be even better than we are, when you're as old as us," Justin told him, trying to help.
"Yeah, we're too little to play now, but we'll prolly want to do it when we're older," Ethan added, looking over at his buddy. "I watched Tyler and Dylan play today and it was fun."
"Ok, I want to go too then," Andrew agreed.
"And you may be too small to play on a team, but I'll look and see if I can find a couple of basketballs that are more your size and you can use them to practice at home too," I offered, bringing a grin to each of their faces.
"Yeah, we'd like that," Ethan told me, after getting a nod of agreement from Andrew.
The conversation ended at that point because our meals arrived and the boys were too busy stuffing their faces with food. Once we finished our meals, we said goodbye to Ann and headed over to the high school. When we got to the gym, Dylan and Tyler wanted us to sit at the very top of the bleachers, because they said they would be able to study the offense better from there.
"All of the school teams use the same offense against a man-to-man defense and that is all our league allows us to use," Tyler explained. "We want to see how the J.V. and Varsity teams run the offense too, because we hope it will help us to understand it better." I had no problem with that, so we all trudged up to the very top row.
During the game, I tried to point out some things to Tyler and Dylan about both the offensive and defensive play. I could tell Marcus and Justin were also listening in on our discussion, but neither one ever said anything. They were just trying to absorb as much as possible about what I was saying.
The J.V. team won their game, but the Varsity lost. It was a close game though and they could have won, but their shooting was a little off. It could have just been first game jitters in front of the home crowd, because they didn't look that bad. It was just that their shooting was a hair off. With a few breaks the outcome could have been very different.
When we got back to the house, we immediately began the shower cycle. Although it didn't completely surprise me, Andrew and Marcus showed up to shower together first, and then I washed Ethan and Justin. I guess the boys had talked this over earlier and it's what they agreed to do. They told me they wanted to sleep with those same partners too and I had no problem with that either, so that's the way I tucked them in.
When I got back to my room, Tyler and Dylan were waiting for me. They had devilish grins on their faces, so it made me wonder what they were going to hit me with tonight.
"Do you give out rewards for playing well and winning games?" Tyler asked, with Dylan grinning and waiting for my answer.
"Does that mean I have to suck off your whole team?" I shot back to see how they were going to react. They both burst out laughing.
"No, we mean us," Tyler clarified, once he stopped giggling.
"The other guys would probably enjoy it too, so do you want me to tell them to come over here after practice tomorrow," Dylan chipped in while still giggling.
"Geez, do you think I can handle ten more teen dicks that hardly ever go soft?" I joked in return. "The two of you are wearing me out as it is, so adding that many more would probably kill me." The boys started laughing again.
"Ok, we'll keep you to ourselves," Tyler offered, "as long as you do a good job. Otherwise, we'll have to bring the other guys over too so you can get more practice."
"Oh come on! You've never complained before," I pointed out, challenging his claim.
"We just didn't want to hurt your feelings before and admit you weren't very good," Dylan added, trying to stifle more laughter.
"In that case, no rewards tonight," I announced while feigning a pout. "If I'm that bad, then I just won't do it any more." That got both boys looking at me and wondering if I meant what I'd just said.
"You know we were only foolin' with ya, dontcha?" Dylan countered, suddenly worried that they'd gone too far.
"Were you really or did you just find the courage to tell me the truth for a change," I retaliated, still making them think they'd hurt my feelings.
"Really, Uncle Blake. You do a great job and that's why we like doing stuff with you. We were just joking, so please don't stop doing this with us," Tyler pleaded, since he was actually worried that I wouldn't do anything with them again.
"Hey, I knew you were only pulling my chain, but I was willing to let you go without doing anything tonight, just to teach you a lesson," I added, making them squirm even more.
"Let's just forget any of that happened and we can go into the shower so you can wash us," Dylan suggested, hoping that would end the problem. "We still like doing stuff with you, so we hope you will do it after we get cleaned up." He and Tyler then began fluttering their eyelashes and giving me those looks that usually made me go along with whatever they wanted.
I didn't say anything after that. I just tilted my head toward the master bath to let them know I agreed it was time to shower. As I was washing each of them, they kept asking if I knew that they had only been joking. Even though I assured them I had, they still didn't act as if they totally believed me. Even when we were done, they followed me out to the bedroom still not sure if they should get in my bed or whether they should head across the hall to Tyler's room. Finally, I decided to take them off the hook.
"So what do you want to do now?" I asked. They both sighed in relief at my comment and slowly their faces lit up.
"Whatever you want to do is fine with us," Dylan answered. He didn't care what we did, as long as I wasn't going to shut them out completely.
Since I knew how much they enjoyed it, I rimmed each one before sucking him off. They both kept telling me how good it felt and how much they were enjoying it, so I'd know they hadn't meant what they'd said earlier. I just gave them my best effort and did everything I could to make this as pleasurable for them as possible. When I was done servicing them, they teamed up to take care of me next and then we all cuddled together and fell asleep.
Saturday morning, after I'd fed everyone, I left Dylan and Tyler to watch the other boys while I ran an errand. Ethan and Andrew were watching cartoons when I left, while the other four were outside practicing their basketball skills. They had to stop temporarily as I pulled the car out of the garage, but I saw them start up again as soon as I'd backed into the street.
After stopping at a few different places, I finally found a store with some decent basketballs that were a little over half the size of a normal basketball. After making sure I could dribble them like a regular basketball, I bought two of them and took them with me. When I got home, I gave them to Ethan and Andrew and told them they could use those to practice with for the time being, if they wanted to learn how to play basketball too. After they thanked me, I went out and found a magic marker so I could write their name on their ball.
As soon as we'd finished lunch, we spent the rest of Saturday switching between football and basketball games on television. The boys still enjoyed watching football, but they wanted to see some of the basketball games too. While we were watching one of those, the boys kept pointing out to me when they saw one of the players doing something that I'd taught them. I thought it was good that they were picking up on those things and it was good reinforcement to make sure they continued doing it too.
When shower time rolled around, Andrew said he wanted to do it with Justin tonight. Since they wanted to sleep together too, Ethan told them they could use his bed and he'd sleep with Marcus. They were showering together too, so it only seemed to make sense for them to do it that way.
Once they were all in bed, I ended up doing a repeat of the previous night with Dylan and Tyler. They were happy with this as well, as long as I was still doing this with them. I think they were still a little concerned that I might turn them down.
Sunday morning, Ethan and Andrew wanted me to show them a few things they could practice for basketball, so I worked with them on dribbling. I wasn't as picky with them as I was with the older boys, but just worked with them on using their fingertips and not letting the ball bounce to high. I let them look at what they were doing for the time being and didn't demand they keep their heads up, since they were just learning. I also told them about how to use the backboard to score baskets and then let them just practice shooting with the smaller balls. They really seemed to like doing this, so I left them on their own for a while and went inside.
Later, I went out to work with the older boys too, but I got a kick out of watching Dylan and Tyler helping their brothers and giving them pointers. The younger pair acted a little annoyed at first and thought their brothers were starting to act too self-important, but that ended when I kept telling them the same thing afterward. Eventually, they both realized their brothers knew what they were talking about and only trying to help, so they started listening to them too.
The boys eventually opted to take a break and we went inside to watch the Falcons' game. The conversation during the game was primarily about basketball though, even though they kept one eye on the action on the TV screen.
When the game ended, I had Dylan, Justin and Andrew get their things together and I took them home. Andrew thanked me for his basketball when I dropped him off and told me he'd had a good time. Sally just shook her head again, after she'd noticed I'd bought something else for Andrew, but I explained that it wasn't very expensive and I'd got Ethan one too. I also told her this way those two could get involved with basketball, along with the older boys.
Justin and Dylan thanked me too and I told them I'd see them during the week, since I'd be picking the younger pair up from their practice on Tuesday and taking them over to Dylan and Tyler's game. They seemed happy about that and I reminded Don and Cherie about it too. Cherie then reminded me this was Thanksgiving week, so she'd be seeing us on Wednesday when she dropped all the boys off at my place after their practices ended. She also reminded me that she and Sally would be returning later to get things started for the Thanksgiving meal. That had really slipped up on us quickly.
Monday night I had the boys help me clean up the house and start getting the place ready after dinner. They dusted and vacuumed, both downstairs and up in their bedrooms, while I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms really well. We were all pretty tired by bedtime and only had a few things left to do the following evening.
Tuesday after work, I went home to get Ethan first and then drove over to pick up Cherie too, before heading over to the school to get Marcus and Justin. Then I took all of them to see Tyler and Dylan play, because it was an away game.
"We had our first practice with our teams tonight," Marcus told me as I was driving to the other school. "Me and Justin are on different teams, so we gotta play against each other."
"Yeah, that sucks. I wanted us to be on the same team," Justin chipped in.
"Well you won't get better unless you play against better players, so this will be good for you," I replied. "You're both getting pretty good, so this will help you get even better when you have to play against one another." They sat quietly thinking this over, as I pulled in and parked the Outback.
By the time we got inside, the teams were just getting ready to start the second quarter. Dylan and Tyler noticed us entering the gym and moving toward the bleachers, so they smiled at us in recognition. Then, the boys, Cherie and I took our seats and watched the game. Dylan wasn't in game when we first got there, although Tyler was, but Dylan went in a minute later and joined Tyler in the backcourt.
They played much better this time and did a good job taking charge of the game. They kept alternating bringing the ball upcourt and did a good job getting the offense started and using their teammates to score points. They also scored, but their primary job was setting things up and playing good defense. They were constantly harassing the other team's guards and caused them to turn the ball over a few times as well. Then I'd hear Coach Jackson shouting out compliments and cheering them on whenever this happened. They ended up beating the other team by a dozen points and they stopped to chat with us briefly, before going to take their showers.
"You guys looked really good out there," Justin told them, totally impressed with what he saw.
"Thanks," Tyler and Dylan both answered.
"I know you probably have to ride back with the team, so we'll meet you at the school," I told them. "Great game!" They both smiled in response as they headed off to catch up with the others.
We had to wait a while for the bus to get back, so Cherie and I discussed some more of the details concerning Thanksgiving, while the boys chatted with each other in the back. When Tyler and Dylan finally showed up, they joined us and I took Cherie and her boys home. It was a shame that Don hadn't been able to get away to watch Dylan play this time, since he and Tyler had both done well.
Before I left the Cochrans' house, I called the Chinese place and ordered take out for us, since I didn't think I had time to fix something before the boys turned into cannibals and started gnawing on my body. On the way over to pick it up, Marcus had something he wanted to tell me.
"I didn't want to say this in front of Aunt Cherie, but there were only a couple of boys that didn't take showers when we got done today. It was great having everyone naked and going in and out of the showers. Me and Justin took lockers close to the shower so we could see all of them." I had to chuckle at that comment.
Once we'd picked up our order, we took it home and dug in. While we were eating the boys wanted to ask me questions about having Thanksgiving together with everyone else. They were anxious to have everyone stay over tomorrow night too, but they wondered if they'd have to do things differently later, since Aunt Cherie and Aunt Sally were going to be there getting the meal started.
"Nah, I don't think they'll come upstairs, so I think we'll be safe," I answered. "Just don't go wandering too close to the top of the stairs without anything on though." They laughed nervously at my warning.
"So you'll still be able to shower with us?" Marcus wanted to know.
"Yeah, I'll just tell Aunt Sally and Aunt Cherie that I'm going upstairs to supervise and make sure things don't get out of control," I answered. "I don't see any problem doing that."
"But they'll be able to tell you showered too, because your hair will be all wet," Tyler pointed out.
"I'll just tell them I decided to clean up too, so I don't think they'll think anything about it."
"Ok, we just wanted to make sure," Tyler stated. They all looked relieved as I shooed them to their bedrooms and tucked them in.
Chapter 65 Indigestion
On Wednesday, Cherie picked up Dylan and Tyler from practice and then drove over to our house so she could drop those two and Justin off. She'd also brought dinner along with her for all of us to share and explained that she had left Don's meal for him before heading over here. She merely asked the boys to set the table and then we all sat down to eat.
Sally showed up with Andrew shortly after we'd got up from the table, so I hung back to chat with the ladies in the kitchen first, before I went off to entertain the boys for a while. I explained to Sally and Cherie about what had happened when the boys and I had been talking about Thanksgiving, and then I showed them some of the things I'd found in with Kelly's cookbooks. Both women then agreed to help me prepare the things the boys had mentioned, so I just hoped we could pull it off successfully.
Once that had been taken care of, I went to spend some time with the boys. I watched a movie with them first, but as it grew later I took everyone upstairs for their showers, as I normally would have done. After washing the first pair, I told them to put on their pajamas and advised them they could go downstairs to watch TV for a little while longer. They were fine with this, so I moved on to the next group and repeated the process. When it came time to shower with Dylan and Tyler, they had some questions for me.
"Are we going to be able to do anything tonight?" Dylan wanted to know. He looked concerned that I was going to tell him 'no'.
"As long as I shut Tyler's door first, just in case one of the ladies comes upstairs with a question. It will keep them from noticing that you aren't in there. I'll lock my door too, so we should be fine, as long as you two keep the noise down," I cautioned.
"We don't get that loud," Tyler stated, looking offended.
"Sometimes you do," I countered, drawing a puzzled expression from both of them. "There have been times when I was worried that you were going to wake the younger boys with your antics, because you really were getting carried away." After I told them this, they looked at each other next, before turning back toward me.
"Ok, we'll keep it down then," Tyler agreed.
"Before we do anything though, I'm going to throw something on and go downstairs to make sure the ladies have what they need. I'll come back when I'm sure they're all set, but you can get started without me, if you want."
"No, we'll wait," Dylan confirmed, but I wasn't sure if he was doing this because they wanted me to help get them off or he just didn't want to hurt my feelings.
When I went down to the kitchen, the women were elbow deep in their work of stuffing the turkey. They looked up when I entered and smiled.
"Did you get all of the boys cleaned up and put to bed?" Cherie asked with a smile.
"Yes, I think they're all set," I confirmed.
"I don't know how you do it, taking care of so many of them like that," Sally stated next. "I know the older ones don't need as much help, but I'm sure they still like having you do things like that with them too."
Her statement concerned me slightly, since she seemed to be indicating that she knew I showered with all of the boys, so I wondered if Andrew had slipped at some point and said something to her. Neither of them seemed upset about it though, so I just smiled and sloughed it off.
"I just do my duty to God and family," I joked and they both laughed at my comment.
They then told me to go ahead and go to bed and assured me that they would lock up when they left. I'd already given Cherie a spare key to use, since she would be returning rather early to make sure things were going all right, so I just thanked them for doing all of this for us. They said it was their pleasure and they were just happy that we would all be spending Thanksgiving together, so I did as they suggested.
I hadn't left the boys alone for very long, but Dylan and Tyler were watching the TV in my room when I got back. They left it on to help mask any noise they might make, but quickly tossed their towels aside as soon as I'd shut and locked the bedroom door. They were obviously eager to get started and appeared slightly aroused from just thinking about what we were going to do.
I decided to do their favorite activity tonight and rimmed and sucked each of them off. However, after doing it to Dylan first, Tyler and I got into position to sixty-nine after I'd rimmed him. I took the top position and then Dylan slipped in behind me, so he could rim me at the same time. I have to admit that led to one mind-blowing orgasm.
Cherie was already up and working when I went downstairs the following morning, so I suggested she take a break while I fixed breakfast for all of us. I made a pot of coffee first and poured us each a cup as we sat down to chat.
"I used the recipe you gave me when I prepared the stuffing," she informed me. "I hope I did it correctly."
"I'm sure you did just fine," I assured her. "I'll begin preparing the butternut squash casserole as soon as we finish our coffee and I finish making everyone breakfast."
"And Sally made the sweet potato pie last night and just has to bake it today," Cherie added. "I just hope we pull this off and earn their approval, because I'd hate to ruin this special day for them."
"I'm sure everything will be just fine," I assured her, although I was worried about the same thing.
While I was working on getting things ready for breakfast, Tyler and Dylan showed up and I got them to agree to set the table first, before going upstairs to wake the other boys. After they'd done that, I had them start making toast and pouring the drinks for everyone, while I fixed everything else.
"Wow, I can see why you like having Dylan stay over," Cherie observed after watching Dylan and Tyler help me out. "He's a bigger help than I would have ever imagined and I hope maybe I can get him to do some of those things at home from now on too." I only chuckled at her comment and hoped Dylan was prepared for what was to come later.
Sally returned while we were eating, so we invited her to join us. After we'd finished up and the boys had cleared off the table, I went out and started the dishwasher, because we'd need all of those things again later. After I sent the boys off to the family room, the women and I got busy again, as I began to make the butternut squash casserole. When I finished doing that, Cherie offered to put it in the oven and watch it for me, while I went in to see what the boys wanted me to do with them.
Cherie and Sally worked hard all morning, while I kept the boys busy outside working on basketball. Ann showed up while we were doing that and we stopped to chat with her briefly, before she went inside to assist Cherie and her sister.
The boys and I finished up working on basketball sometime before one and then I took everyone upstairs to shower again and get changed for an early dinner. Once we had done that, I let them watch a movie until Don came over to join us. He had brought the small banquet table with him and it was sticking out of the back of his car, so I helped him carry it into the living room. We set it up in a spot where we could all see each other while we were eating, since the boys would all sit there, while the adults were at the dining room table.
After we finished doing that, Don and I chatted for a while, but I thought he seemed a little cold and aloof today. I wrote it off to my overactive imagination or possibly that he was just upset that Cherie had spent so much time over here the previous night and this morning. I didn't consider it to be a big deal though.
We were called in for dinner around 3:00 and I was surprised the boys had been able to hold out until then, even though they'd had a large breakfast. We took our places at the appropriate tables and we said grace. Sally, Cherie and I then helped the boys fill their plates and helped the younger ones carry their meals into the living room, so they wouldn't spill anything along the way. We also brought the drinks in for each of them as well, and once they were set, the rest of us took our seats at the dining room table.
I sat at the head of the table with Don next to me on one side and Cherie sitting beside him. On my other side was Sally and Ann, with the other end of the table open so we could observe the boys. The various dishes and platters then began circulating around the table, as each of us took what we wanted and passed the dish on, before digging into the delicious fare.
"This stuffing tastes just like what Mommy used to make," Ethan stated with his mouth half full of food.
"It should, because I used her recipe," Cherie confirmed, as Ethan smiled at her in delight.
"And so does the butternut squash casserole," Marcus chimed in with an equally broad smile. "Justin, you've got to try this. It's great and you'll love it!"
"Your Uncle Blake made that," Cherie informed him. "I'm sure he used one of your mother's recipes too."
"Thanks," Marcus gushed, as he shoved another forkful of the casserole into his mouth.
"Does that mean someone made a sweet potato pie for me?" Tyler wondered, since he didn't want to be left out.
"Yes, Sally did that," I confirmed, and Tyler's face lit up as well. "We won't have that until later though, once our meal has had a chance to settle." Tyler seemed fine with that, as long as he knew he'd eventually get some of the pie, and smiled broadly.
The women had done a wonderful job and everything was really great. The turkey was moist and very tasty, and they also fixed both mashed potatoes and yams, to go along with the traditional cranberry sauce and an assortment of vegetables. Ann had also brought over both Waldorf and Watergate salads, but I thought the latter seemed more like dessert. It was made using pistachio pudding, pineapple, miniature marshmallows and walnuts, but it was also topped with whipped cream. In addition to all of those things, Cherie had also prepared a lasagna, which she informed us was part of her family's tradition. We then proceeded to stuff ourselves, while also knowing their was an assortment of pies for dessert, which we wouldn't have until later.
We had just about finished our meal when Don turned to me and spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. "When I went out to run some errands yesterday, I ran into an old friend of mine," he announced, while looking me directly in the eye. "I didn't know it at the time, but I discovered he had been Matt Weaver's friend before we met. He mentioned that fact after I told him I was coming over here today for dinner."
"He knew my dad!" Tyler squealed with a great deal of glee at this announcement. "What was his name?"
"It was Jim Valk," Don answered, while looking at me instead of Tyler.
"Oh yeah. I remember him," Tyler confirmed. "He came over here a few times."
"And he remembered you too, because he told me about having been here before for some parties and cookouts," Don informed us. "When he found out your Uncle Blake was raising you boys now, he asked if Blake was still with his old boyfriend."
After saying this, I noticed Don was glaring at me and I could see he wasn't looking particularly happy. I also knew I had to respond to what he'd said, without escalating the situation.
"No, I haven't seen him in years," I stated simply, hoping that would defuse the issue.
"So you are one of them!" Don stated in an accusatory tone.
"If you mean that I'm gay, then yes, I am," I answered, while attempting to maintain my cool and keep my temper from flaring up.
"If I had known that before, then I never would have allowed my family to have anything to do with you!" he announced before turning toward his wife. "I want all of you to get your things together, because we're going home!"
"No, we're not!" Cherie countered with as much determination in her voice as her husband had just used. "There's nothing wrong with that and Blake is still the same wonderful person he was before."
"No! Everything has changed. The situation is completely different now, so we're getting the hell out of here!" Don shot back, while glaring at his wife.
"You can go if you want, but the boys and I are staying here," she confirmed in her most defiant manner. "We are having a good time and aren't bothered by the news you just revealed."
"I'm not going to allow my sons to remain here for a second longer!" Don screamed, as his face began to turn red and the veins in his neck bulged under the skin.
"I'm not going with you either!" Dylan chimed in, which quickly drew an ice-cold stare from his father. "You're so hung up on anything that even looks slightly gay that you have never been able to show me or Justin any love." Don was momentarily stunned by his son's words, but he recovered rapidly.
"That's not true!" he challenged, although not convincingly.
"It is too!" Dylan insisted. "When was the last time you gave us a hug, kissed us goodnight or even told us that you loved us? Never! That's when!"
"Those things aren't manly. They're ok for boys, but not for men," Don responded, but in a much calmer and lower voice.
"They are too, because a lot of our friend's fathers do those things, but you never have!" Dylan shouted back. "At least over here we know we're loved."
"Oh, I'm sure you do," Don scoffed while glaring at me. "Has he ever tried to do anything to you?"
"Yeah, when he tucks us into bed at night, he kisses us on the forehead and tells us he loves us," Dylan screamed. I had been momentarily worried about what he was about to say, but after hearing his words I began to relax. "He's been doing what you should have been doing our whole lives."
"He only does it because he's a faggot, so that's something I'd never do," Don replied. "I don't want anything to do with him or any of his kind. We never would have hung out with him if I had known about him earlier."
"So does that mean you don't want anything to do with me either, because I'm gay too?" Dylan snapped back and his father's eyes almost popped out of his head.
"You aren't queer!" his father screamed. "You're not only good at sports, but you've dated girls before too."
"I only did that because I knew it was what you expected me to do and I didn't want to see how you'd react or what you'd say if I didn't go out with a girl," Dylan confessed, in a slightly calmer tone.
"Has he forced you to stuff with him and turned you gay?" Don demanded, as he turned toward me again.
"I've known I was gay since I was eleven, but I just didn't know what it was called. I just knew I liked boys, and that was long before I knew Uncle Blake," Dylan confirmed, much to his father's dismay.
"Don't call him that any more! He's not your uncle!" Don screamed, visibly upset. "I want you to answer my question, though. Has he done anything to you?"
"I've done stuff here, but with Tyler," Dylan responded, and I could tell he was doing his best to answer his father without lying. "I've also done some stuff with other boys from school too. All Uncle Blake has done for me is to make me a better baseball and basketball player."
"Faggots don't like sports and aren't good at them," Don insisted, still not sure if he believed his son.
"Well this faggot likes them and I think I'm pretty good at them too," Dylan countered, defying his father's perception.
"I don't believe it. I want to get out of here now!" Don reiterated, while looking between his wife and sons.
"I told you before that you can leave if you want to, but we're staying here," Cherie replied, again taking a defiant stance.
"You're all coming with me, even if I have to drag you out of here," Don stated, not giving an inch.
"And if you try anything like that I'll call the cops and have you arrested for abuse and then I'll divorce you," Cherie countered, standing her ground. "And I'll file for sole custody of our sons too, while claiming your homophobic attitude would prove to be detrimental to the boys."
"You wouldn't dare!" Don shot back, his eyes fixed and ablaze as he stared at his wife.
"Just try me," Cherie dared him in return. After a brief standoff, Don finally responded.
"Fine, I'm going home without you then and you and Dylan can stay here with the queer. Justin, get you're things!" Don barked next.
"No. I'm staying here too," Justin responded, as Don's authority was challenged once more.
"You aren't old enough to make that decision, so do as I say!" Don ordered, unsuccessfully.
"He doesn't have to go with you. He's staying with Dylan and me," Cherie confirmed, to let Don know he was leaving alone.
"Fine! Do what you want, but I'm not ever coming back here, not to see you or for any other reason!" Don screamed, thinking that might change their minds, but it didn't work.
"Don't worry about us. We'll be fine. The boys and I will just stay here until you come to your senses again," Cherie offered, which obviously surprised Don. "I'm sure Blake can make room for one more houseguest, since the boys were already staying here with him. And if you're dumb enough to try doing anything else to get us back before we're ready, I'll call the cops and have you stopped. Then, I'll ask a judge slap a restraining order on you to keep you far away from the three of us."
That definitely took the wind out of Don's sails and he appeared totally deflated. Making one final 'hmmpf', he moved toward the door and slammed it behind him. We heard the tires on his car squeal, as he took off down the street a few seconds later.
"Blake, I'm so very sorry about that," Cherie apologized. "It had been such a wonderful day until Don had to go and ruin it. He obviously knew this information earlier, when he first got here, so I'm not sure why he waited until we were just about finished eating before he brought it up."
"Probably because he was afraid he wouldn't get to eat if he mentioned it earlier," Dylan chirped back. Even though it had been an upsetting situation, that comment brought a slight grin to all of our faces.
"Well I certainly don't have a problem with anything," Sally added after a slight lull in the conversation. "Blake has been wonderful with Andrew and has helped him tremendously. We both love him and that's not going to change."
"And it don't make no never mind to me neither," Ann added, while smiling at me sympathetically. "I don't give a darn who y'all love, I just know you're a terrific role model for the boys and I think you're a truly great guy." I was deeply moved by Ann's comment and thanked all three women for their support.
"As you probably could tell, it won't change anything between us either," Cherie concurred. "The only thing that may change will be my marital status."
"Aunt Cherie can use my room tonight, if she's going to stay here too," Tyler offered as soon as the women had finished speaking.
"And where will you sleep?" Cherie countered in return.
"Me and Dylan can sleep with Uncle Blake. He's got a king-size bed," Tyler answered, which immediately caused me some concern. I wasn't sure how any of them were going to react to this suggestion, especially after just learning I was gay.
"Yeah, we don't mind doing that," Dylan chimed in, offering his support for the idea.
"Ok. I appreciate that and it will help me a lot," Cherie agreed, while smiling at both boys.
"I know Tyler has a queen-size bed, so what if I stay over and keep Cherie company, that is if she doesn't mind," Sally quickly offered. "I'm pretty sure she won't want to be alone tonight and will probably need a friend to talk to. I've been through a divorce before, so maybe I can help."
"Yes, I'd like that," Cherie confirmed. "I guess I might need to start exploring my options."
"In that case, I'll run over to Sally's house and pick up a few things that I know y'all are going to need then," Ann offered in support, so Cherie and Sally each thanked her for being willing to do this for them. Cherie added that it would be a great help, since she didn't want to go home and face Don again, just to get whatever she might need.
Since I knew this conversation might get pretty involved, I sent the women into the family room so they could chat, while the boys and I started cleaning up the kitchen and dining room. There was a lot to do and keeping busy would occupy the rest of us for now, so the boys wouldn't dwell on how this was going to turn out.
"I'm sorry Don ran into that guy yesterday, because it helped to ruined our Thanksgiving," Dylan snarled once we were alone. I immediately noticed that he'd also called his father by his first name, which made me do a double-take and Dylan noticed my reaction. "I know what you're thinking, but he's not my dad any longer. He pretty much told me that he doesn't want anything to do with me now, seeing he knows I'm gay too, so I don't want to have anything to do with him either."
"You don't have to make that decision yet and I would advise you against slamming the door in his face too soon," I offered, since I didn't what him to do something he might regret later. "Things still might change."
"Yeah, maybe if you believe in fairy tales and magic," Dylan shot back, startling me.
"Don't count anything out too quickly," I challenged, but Dylan merely shook his head to let me know he didn't agree. It's also when I noticed Justin moving in my direction too.
"I don't care what my dad says, you're still my Uncle Blake," Justin assured me, as he threw his arms around my waist. "I don't ever want to stop coming over here."
"And I don't ever want you to stop coming over here either," I confirmed, so there wouldn't be any doubt.
The boys did their best to reassure and make me feel better, as we continued cleaning the kitchen and dining room. After we'd done as much as we could and I'd started the dishwasher, we headed to the family room to see how the women were doing. It was apparent Ann had returned from running her errand already, because they were all hugging each other when we walked in. Since I wasn't sure if they needed some more time together, I thought I'd offer to leave them alone.
"We didn't mean to interfere, so the boys and I will come back later," I offered when I thought we were intruding.
"No, that's not necessary," Cherie responded. "In fact, I think I could use a hug from my two boys."
"And I'd like one from Andrew too," Sally quickly added.
As those three went to do that, my three followed behind them and each boy hugged both women, before moving over to hug Ann too. Then, we all sat down with them to talk things over. Dylan sat beside his mother, while Justin and Andrew plopped down on their mothers' laps. The rest of us got comfortable on the floor.
After discussing a number of topics with them, Cherie and Sally decided it was time for us to go out and have our dessert. While they took the pies out so they could cut and serve a slice to anyone that wanted one, I started a pot of coffee and the boys poured themselves something to drink. We then went into the dining room and crowded around the table to enjoy our treats together.
"Aunt Sally, this sweet potato pie is great! It tastes exactly like the ones my mom used to make," Tyler announced after he'd polished off the entire slice. "Can I have another piece, please?"
"Of course," she quickly agreed as she took his plate.
"I really like the pumpkin pie," Justin offered, as he was busy getting another bite ready to shove into his mouth.
"Mom knows I like the pecan pie the best," Dylan chipped in, while smiling at his mother. "Thanks for making it for me, Mom."
"You're welcome, sweetie," she quickly agreed.
"They're all very good," I added, since I'd taken a very slim sliver of each type, including the apple and cherry pies. "If I ate like this every day, I'd weight 400 pounds [180 kg] in no time."
My comment elicited a few snickers, but some of the boys also chimed in their agreement. Once we finished eating our dessert, Cherie and Sally said they would empty the dishwasher, load it again and then finish cleaning the kitchen. I told them while they were doing that, I'd take the boys upstairs and get them ready for bed, since it was getting late. I knew I'd probably be facing a bunch of questions when we got up there, because I was convinced the boys would want some clarification about the things they'd overheard today.
"Can we still take our showers together?" Justin wanted to know the minute we reached the top of the stairs.
"Yes, I don't see any reason why we can't do that," I answered. "Just wear your underwear from the bedroom to my bathroom and I'll keep the door shut until you're finished and decent again. When you're done, you can just wrap a towel around your waist to go back and put your PJs on."
"So can we watch each other in the shower?" Andrew asked next.
"Sure you can. Just be in there before they get in the shower," I confirmed. "If the four of you want to stay in there the entire time, I think that will be perfectly all right."
"Can we still sleep together too?" Marcus asked next.
"Yes, that won't be a problem either," I confirmed, much to his relief. "Just no messing around. Ok?" They all nodded in response.
"What about us?" Dylan asked, once the little ones ran off to get undressed and I was adjusting the water temp.
"I think we can shower together too, but we won't be able to do anything else, other than to sleep together," I answered as I eyed each one. "The women will just be across the hall and I don't want to give them any reason to change their minds about how they feel about me." Both he and Tyler nodded their heads in response, but I knew they weren't thrilled about it.
I then asked Tyler and Dylan to go clean up Tyler's bedroom quickly, as well as to change the sheets and make the bed. I also asked them to make sure their 'sex toys' were out of sight and well hidden, so they wouldn't accidentally be discovered. I didn't want anything else to raise another red flag, especially after what else had transpired today. While they were doing that, I took care of their brothers.
As I was washing the four younger boys, there was still some touching going on, but they were more subdued than usual. I could understand how having the women around might have that effect on them, but I think the boys were also thinking back about Don's tirade earlier. It had certainly dampened the mood earlier, which had been quite jovial before that happened.
After those four had gone back to the other bedrooms and put on their pajamas, I went in and showered with Dylan and Tyler next. When we finished, I had them put on something too, since they didn't wear pajamas, and then we went downstairs to spend some more time with the women.
We ended up watching a movie together in the family room, seated in much the same manner as we'd been as earlier. Ann was sitting in the chair, while Sally and Cherie were on the sofa with their sons. I sat on the floor with my back leaning against the couch between Cherie and Sally, while Tyler used one of my legs as a pillow and Marcus the other. Ethan sat between my splayed legs and was leaning back against me.
"It's too bad Don would never allow himself to do things like that with the boys," Cherie observed during one commercial, as she looked down at us.
"Yes, I'm sure that's why all the boys feel so close to Blake," Sally added. "They all know he's there for them, even if they're just doing something as simple as watching TV."
"Yeah, we all like cuddling with Uncle Blake," Justin confirmed, as the other boys murmured their agreement. I couldn't see either Cherie or Sally's face, but I was pretty sure they were both smiling.
When the movie ended, we all decided to turn in for the evening. It was already past the younger boys' bedtime, but it had also been a very long and draining day for each of us. Before we did that, however, we all said goodnight to Ann and thanked her for joining us.
"No, I want to thank y'all for inviting me," she countered. "I was having a great time and it would have been a fantastic day, if it wasn't for one grumpy person."
We all agreed with her in our own way and then the rest of us headed upstairs. I tucked each of the younger pairs into bed as I always did, but this time with their mother's standing in the doorway and waiting their turn. After I had covered each pair, I kissed both boys on the forehead and then wished them sweet dreams, before their mother went in to say goodnight to them too, along with their bed partner.
After those four were tucked in, the rest of us said goodnight to each other and headed toward our rooms. Before we parted company, I took a moment to fetch two new toothbrushes out of our collection of replacements and handed one to each of our guests. I'd heard Sally mention earlier that Ann had forgotten that one item when she inspected what Ann had brought over. I then told them they should find whatever else they would need in the bathroom, if we had it. I also advised them to feel free to look through the linen cabinet or medicine chest for whatever else they might need and urged them to let me know if there was anything they couldn't locate. They agreed they would do that and thanked me for everything, before we closed the bedroom doors behind us.
Once we were in the bedroom alone and I'd shut and locked the door, Dylan and Tyler began to ask me questions. "So are you sure we can't do anything tonight?" Dylan wondered, as he looked at me hopefully.
"I'm afraid not," I confirmed. "I don't want your mother or Sally to overhear anything, because then they might begin to agree with your father about things."
"Can Dylan and I do something then?" Tyler followed, looking hopeful.
"Not in here or in the master bath," I replied. "The same thing would imply, because I'm sure they'd wonder why you were doing things like that with me in the room with you. I guess you could always go downstairs and use my office if you wanted."
"Nah, but this really sucks," Dylan gripped, while looking less than happy. "Do we still get to cuddle with you?"
"I think we can get away with that, since it won't cause us to make any noise," I concurred, much to his relief.
"Can we do it with one on each side or do we both have to be on the same side this time?" Tyler wanted to know next.
"I think one on each side will be fine," I confirmed, which earned me a smile. "I wouldn't be able to sleep as well, if I didn't have a teddy bear in each arm."
Both boys hugged me after I said this and then we got into bed. They immediately wrapped their bodies around mine, just like they always did. They also placed their heads on my chest, as I wound an arm around each one's shoulders. I was still thinking about what had taken place earlier, when I heard a voice in my ear.
"I won't let Don stop us from coming over here, no matter what," Dylan told me. "I enjoy this too much and it's the one place, and one of the few times, when I really feel loved."
"I know and I'd miss this too, but I suggest you allow your mom and dad to hassle this out," I recommended. "Try to stay out of the arguments as much as possible, because I'm afraid you'll only complicate the issue and mess things up."
"But it concerns me too," he pointed out, as if I didn't already know.
"Yes, it does, but I think you should stay out of the discussion unless they ask for your opinion or if your mother is unable to work things out to your satisfaction," I urged. "She also wants what's best for you, so give her a chance first. I'm sure she won't let you down."
"But I didn't think Don was going to listen to her earlier, not until me and Justin spoke up too," he pointed out, trying to change my mind.
"That may or may not be true, but you or I don't know that for certain," I observed. "I thought your mother was doing just fine on her own and I have the feeling she'd have stood her ground and done what she thought was best. She actually reminded me of a mama grizzly protecting her cubs from an attacker." Dylan giggled after hearing me say this.
"Yeah, I guess she did," he agreed, and although I couldn't see it, I knew he was smiling. "Ok, I'll try to do what you say, but I know it won't work if Don starts trying to order us around like that again."
"Just don't call him Don to his face just yet and let your mother handle him first. You should only stand up for yourself if she's not around," I countered, hoping that would tone things down a bit.
"I'll try," he conceded, although weakly.
That ended our discussion for the night and we fell asleep shortly thereafter.
Chapter 66 Weathering the Storm
Even though Dylan, Tyler and I were still troubled by the events of the previous day, I believe we were able to deal with it because we had each other. The boys and I cuddled together as we normally would and soon drifted off to sleep.
Sometime during the night I felt the covers being yanked off my body and it woke me up immediately. Even in the dim light, I could tell that Dylan had heaved the bedding off both of us and was getting out of bed. I wasn't sure why he had done this, but I spoke to him in a calm and reassuring voice. "What's the matter? Is something wrong?"
He stopped in his tracks when he heard me speak. He was just getting out of bed at the time, but when he heard my voice he sat down on the mattress again, although he didn't turn toward me or offer to say anything. Concerned, I reached out to place my hand on his arm and could immediately feel he was trembling. "Dylan, what's wrong. What is bothering you?"
Slowly, he turned toward me and I was able to make out his features in the limited amount of moonlight filtering into the room. He looked absolutely wretched.
"I guess I musta had a dream," he answered, as his expression began to soften slightly. "It musta been a dream, because it all happened at my house."
"Ok, but why are you shaking?" I pressed, trying to get at the root of the problem.
"I dreamed that my dad came to my bedroom and was trying to kill me because he didn't want a gay son. I think I musta been trying to get out of bed so I could get away from him before he could do that when I heard your voice. It surprised me at first, because I knew you weren't in my bedroom, but then I suddenly remembered where I was."
"Well you're ok now and nothing is going to hurt you while you're here with us," I stated as soothingly as I knew how.
I was just about to coax him into getting back into bed when I began hearing other voices. They weren't loud and no one was shouting, so I probably wouldn't have even noticed them if I had been sleeping, but since I was awake, they were quite obvious. Since I wasn't sure who was speaking or what was up, I decided to go check it out. After telling Dylan to wait there, I opened the door to my bedroom and realized the voices were coming from Marcus' room, so I walked over and opened his door. That's when I saw Marcus and Justin standing on opposites sides of the bed, hurriedly taking their pajamas off.
"What's going on?" I asked without raising my voice, as I turned on the light.
"Justin had a bad dream and wet the bed," Marcus quickly told me, as he and Justin finished removing their pajama bottoms. As I glanced across the bed at Justin, he appeared to be totally embarrassed by what had happened.
Feeling a wave of empathy for him, I walked over and placed my arm around his shoulder. "It's ok. Nothing has happened that can't be taken care of, so don't worry about it." He looked up and flashed me a weak smile, along with an expression of enormous relief. "So let's get you boys and the bed cleaned up. Marcus, take the sheets off your bed and I'll go get a couple of damp washcloths to wipe you boys off."
I was just coming back to the room with those items when I heard Justin shout this time. "Mom, get out of here! We don't have nothing on!"
Cherie was standing in Marcus' doorway, looking into the room, and Sally was looking out of Tyler's doorway when I got there. When I looked past Cherie so I could see into Marcus' room, the two younger boys were doing their best to hide their nakedness from Cherie. When she realized I was standing next to her, she offered an explanation.
"I just heard people taking and came over to see if there was a problem. I'm not sure why Justin is getting so upset though, since he isn't bothered when he's taking showers with all of you and I've seen him naked before, when he was younger."
"But we're all guys when we shower together and I'm not a little kid any more," he screamed back. "Just go away!"
I assured Cherie that I could handle the situation and merely explained that he'd had a bad dream which had caused his bladder to relieve itself. She nodded knowingly, told Justin she was sorry and then went back to the room she'd been sleeping in. Moments later, she and Sally disappeared inside and the door closed behind them.
After quickly wiping down both boys and washing off the urine, I attempted to clean off the bed as well. After I'd done that, I told Justin and Marcus to put on a fresh pair of pajamas, while I took the soiled bedding and pajamas down to the laundry room. I'd decided to throw everything into the washing machine right away, because I didn't want to leave those things sitting around overnight. I felt it was best to clean them immediately, although I would wait and move them over the dryer in the morning.
When I returned to their room, I suggested they come over and sleep with me tonight. It would be crowded, but I knew we'd all fit in, but first I wanted to know what had caused this to happen.
"I had a dream about my dad," Justin offered, while staring at the floor. "He was carrying me out of the house and told me that he was taking me far away from here. He said he didn't want me hanging around my mom or Dylan any more, so we were going to someplace far away. I didn't want to go with him and was trying to fight him off so he'd let me go, and I guess that's when it happened."
I knew he was referring to his 'accident', but neither of us mentioned it directly. Since Tyler was still asleep, although I couldn't imagine how he'd managed to do it through all the ruckus, I told Dylan I'd get in bed next to Tyler, but then I wanted Justin between him and me. Once Dylan was also in bed, then Marcus could get in on the other side of him. After Dylan heard that Justin had a bad dream too, he agreed and we all got into my bed together.
I placed my arm around Justin and he clung to me for the rest of the night. There were no further incidents, and surprisingly we were all fairly well rested and refreshed when we got up the next morning, but that was possibly due to the fact that we slept later than normal too. Both Justin and Dylan seemed somewhat chipper after we got up, so I told all of the boys to get dressed and then we'd head downstairs for breakfast.
I was a little surprised when I saw Tyler's bedroom door was still closed and I didn't hear any movement or talking on the other side. That's when I realized the women probably hadn't gotten up yet either. After thinking about it briefly, I concluded that Cherie and Sally must have stayed up late after they'd been awakened. It was possible they stayed up to talk about what had happened with Justin, but they might have also been discussing what had transpired at dinner the previous day. Since I wanted to give them a little more time to get some rest, I decided not to disturb them and urged the boys to be quiet as we passed their room.
When we got downstairs, we discovered the youngest pair was already up and watching their shows in the family room, so Justin and Marcus went off to join them, while the rest of us made our way to the kitchen. When we got there, Dylan and Tyler offered to set the table and get everything ready for when the women came down to join us, so I made a pot of coffee first, before I started to get things ready for breakfast.
Once the coffee was brewing, I headed over to the laundry room to take out the items I'd tossed into the washing machine in the middle of the night and moved them over to the dryer. Then, I went back to the kitchen, washed my hands and began whipping up a bowl of pancake batter for those that might want some. I also mixed another bowl with the ingredients for scrambled eggs, because this way I'd only have to pour it into a frying pan when the others let me know what they wanted. I also got things ready to make home fries too, so I'd only have to heat up the appropriate amount when needed, and then I got the sausage links and bacon ready to fry up as well.
Once everything was ready, I asked the various boys what they wanted and went out to fix it for them. I called them out to the dining room when it was ready and then whipped up a little something extra for myself. We were still eating when the women came down the stairs about fifteen minutes later, still in their nightgowns and housecoats.
"Wow! It smells good," Sally observed as she walked into the dining room.
"Thank you and you have a choice this morning," I announced, as I advised them of their options.
"You don't have to wait on us. We can fix what we want," Cherie announced while looking at me oddly.
"No, you're our guests and you did all the work yesterday," I pointed out. "Just tell me what you'd like and I'll heat it up. It's all ready to pour into the frying pans."
They looked at each other and exchanged glances first, before telling me what they wanted. While I was fixing their meal, Tyler poured each of them a cup of coffee and Dylan gave them a small glass of orange juice to go with it. As I was bringing the food in to them, I heard Cherie ask the boys a question.
"Do you eat like this every time you stay over here?"
"Mostly," Dylan answered, "unless we have a game right away. Then we don't eat as much."
"Sometimes we have stuff like this, but other times Uncle Blake makes us French toast, waffles or omelets instead," Justin chipped in.
"No wonder you like staying over here," Cherie muttered. "It sure beats the cereal and toast you have most days at home."
"We do that sometimes too," Marcus confirmed. I felt his comment was merely to deflect attention away from what I usually fed them, because he was worried about how the two women were reacting to this information.
"Well Uncle Blake sure knows how to spoil you boys," Sally chimed in as she watched her son devour his food. "He's a pretty good cook too, isn't he," she added, as she took another mouthful of her meal.
"Yep, he is," Andrew agreed, smiling at his mother before he filled his own mouth again.
I fixed extra for those that wanted more, and the boys got up at various times to take their dishes out to the kitchen to rinse off and place in the dishwasher. I then told the boys they could do whatever they wanted for the time being, while Cherie, Sally and I stayed in the dining room to chat and enjoy another cup of coffee. All of the boys decided to go to the family room next and watch cartoons, which mildly surprised me. Dylan and Tyler didn't usually do this with the younger boys, so either they just wanted to be with their brothers or they felt the younger group might need their moral support after what had happened the night before. Either way, they all went off together.
Once the boys were gone, we sat in silence for a few minutes before I looked at Cherie and spoke. "So how are you holding up today?"
"Better than last night," she confessed. "I'm really glad Sally stayed over with me, because we did a lot of talking. She helped me out a lot, so I think I have a better idea about what I'm going to do next."
"I just let you get it out of your system," Sally offered in return. "I actually offered very little to the conversation."
"Your support, empathy and insight were invaluable," Cherie stated next. "Now for the question I've been dying to ask," she continued, as she lowered her voice. "What the heck happened last night?"
"There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just spit it out," I replied as I looked into her face. "Both of your sons had nightmares last night and they both concerned Don." I stopped there and didn't continue, because I wasn't sure if I should give her the details. I also wasn't sure if her sons would want her to know.
"What were their nightmares about?" she demanded, as a panicked look came over her face.
"If I tell you, then I want you to promise you won't let the boys know I gave you this information," I began, as I looked to see her reaction. "I don't think either one wants you to know what happened, although I think you should." She nodded her agreement, so I continued on.
"Dylan dreamed your husband went into his bedroom at home and tried to kill him, because he didn't want a gay son," I stated, and Cherie's mouth dropped open, as her hand shot up to place over it. "Justin dreamed that Don was carrying him off and telling him that they were going to move far away, where he'd never see you or Dylan again."
"Oh my God!" Cherie exclaimed. "No wonder he wet the bed, but I do feel as though I need to apologize to him and Marcus for barging in there while they were both naked. I noticed Justin has changed a little since I used to give him baths, but not that much. He's definitely taller, has lost most of his baby fat and his penis might have grown a bit, but he's basically the same boy I used to do everything for, until he stopped me because he said he was getting too big."
"Yes, I think he might be slightly better endowed now then when he first started coming over here," I agreed. "And I think it might be a very good idea if you apologize for catching them without anything on, because I think that bothered both boys. They're not shy around other guys, but I don't think they like the idea of a female seeing them naked yet."
"Ok, I'll do that then and I'll try to be more careful about barging into their bedroom in the future," she countered and I could read the pained expression on her face. "I guess I'm just not ready to admit that he's growing up. To me, Justin's still my baby." I merely nodded my head in understanding.
"Blake, do you mind if we leave the boys here for a while this afternoon? Sally's offered to go over to the house with me so I can see if Don is ready to come to his senses yet. I'm just not ready to face him alone, but I feel I need to do this for the boys' sake now. Since I don't want them going over there with me, I'd feel better knowing they were here."
"Certainly! They can stay here for as long as you'd like and you can too," I offered, just in case things didn't work out with Don.
"Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me," she replied and I could read the gratitude on her face. "If Don is still as obstinate as he was yesterday, then I'll probably just pack up some things for the three of us and come back here. I'm serious about divorcing him if he continues to remain this pigheaded and unreasonable, so we may be here until Monday or possibly even a little longer. Monday is probably the earliest that I can contact a lawyer to get things started."
"You are welcome to stay here for as long as you need," I confirmed, and I meant every word of it. "The rest of us are fine with the way things were last night, so it's not a big deal."
"So you don't mind sleeping with Dylan and Tyler?" she asked, eyeing me suspiciously. I didn't feel her question had anything to do about sex, but just about having the unwanted company.
"No, it's fine," I acknowledged, to reassure her. "Even after what happened and I brought Justin and Marcus in with us too, there were no problems. We all just cuddled together on my huge bed and I believe they all slept fairly well after that."
"I'm glad we were here and they had you to rely on when Don decided to do this," she admitted, looking relieved. "I'm not sure what would have happened or how they might have reacted if this had happened at home. Dylan might have even run away and come over here to see you and Tyler, but I think Justin would have just hid in his room. Did you know Dylan was gay?"
"Yes, Dylan has talked to me about it before," I confirmed, while hoping this information wouldn't bother her. "Tyler had told him I was gay before I knew Dylan was, so I think he felt comfortable talking to me about it. Even though I've told him he still has time to explore his sexuality more before deciding if he's truly gay, he assures he is. Tyler, on the other hand, isn't sure yet. He thinks he might be bi."
"I wondered about that too, since Dylan announced that he had done stuff with Tyler," Cherie responded. "I'm glad he could go to you about it though, because his father would have assuredly gone through the roof if Dylan had mentioned it to him earlier."
"Yes, I kind of noticed that," I agreed as mildly as possible.
"How about the other boys?" Sally followed, while looking at me as she waited for an answer.
"They're too young to tell anything yet, but like all boys, they are curious about their bodies and each other's," I answered, trying to be honest. "Ethan and Andrew generally take baths together and Marcus and Justin have pretty much done the same thing. On occasion, Ethan and Andrew have switched off and taken baths with the older boys instead, but I think it was just because they were curious about checking each other out."
"Justin takes a bath with the other boys?" Cherie asked, looking incredulous.
"Yes, but it hasn't always been the case," I confirmed. "He was very hesitant about doing it at first, but that slowly began to change. It started to happen when he realized his brother and Tyler took showers with the other boys at school after sports and that he might have to do it too if he wanted to play sports at school. He also knew Ethan and Marcus took baths with each other, so I think his curiosity just got the better of him and he decided he wanted to see what it was like."
"It really surprises me, but I'm glad he no longer acts like his father when it comes to that," Cherie announced, while giving me a weak smile. "I was worried he was going to turn out to be just like Don, because I had heard Justin screaming at Dylan about accidentally walking in on him when he was naked before."
"I think he's over that now. At least that's what Dylan has told me," I confirmed.
"That would explain why I haven't heard any screaming matches taking place recently," Cherie mused.
"I'm sure Andrew's been totally fascinated about doing things like that too, since he's never been around other boys or men before," Sally chimed in, but she was smiling broadly as she said it. "He has been so different and so much happier since he's been coming over here, and I'm sure it's because he's learning a lot in the process too."
"I'm sure they all are, but it's all fairly harmless," I offered, in case they had any concerns. "Just boys being boys and letting their curiosity show."
We talked for a little longer before Cherie asked Sally if she was ready to go with her. They both told me they'd be back, because Sally was only making sure Cherie was ok and wasn't going to stay there, while Cherie was planning to come back either way. She would return to stay with us for a while if things didn't work out or she'd come back to pick up the boys if Don had calmed down and was acting reasonable again. Cherie assured me that she wouldn't take Dylan back home unless she felt he would be absolutely safe and Don was willing to accept him as he was, not as he wished him to be.
After the women had driven away, I took the boys outside to work on their basketball skills some more. I think they had all temporarily forgotten about where Cherie and Sally had gone and what they were doing, but I was very aware they'd been away far longer than I'd expected. The only reasons I could think of to explain this was that things were going well, they'd had a major blowup and the cops had been called in, or that Cherie was busy packing up everything she and the boys owned. I was beginning to think maybe I should go over there to check on things when Cherie's car pulled up in front of the house. The women got out and casually walked over to us.
"What happened?" Dylan asked, as he turned toward his mother.
"I'm afraid your father was just as obstinate and illogical as he was yesterday," she replied.
"Then what took you so long?" he demanded, confused.
"I argued with him for a while and then Sally helped me pack up a bunch of things the three of us would need to stay here," his mother answered. "I'd like you boys to help me take everything inside. There are some suitcases in the backseat and a bunch of boxes in the trunk."
I quickly called a halt to what we'd been doing and we all helped Cherie carry things inside. Once we had done that, I started to clean out some space in my closet. When I finished, I told Tyler to move some of the things he would be needing over to my room, including discretely moving his 'sex toys' there as well. He could hang the things from his closet in my closet for now, to make room for Cherie to store some of her things. Then I had him stuff everything in his dresser into two of the four drawers and then carry those drawers over to my room. I told him that he could store the drawers against the wall for now, and this way Cherie could use the other two for her things.
While Dylan was helping Tyler do that, I went over to Marcus' room and helped him condense the things in his closet and dresser, so Justin would have room for his stuff. While Justin was taking care of what his mother had brought over for him, I emptied a couple of my dresser drawers for Dylan to use. I also made sure he had some closet space as well, because I took some of the things I didn't use as much and moved them over to Ethan's closet for the time being. The closet in my room was very crowded after the boys moved their things in and the situation was not totally ideal for any of us, but it allowed Cherie and her sons to unpack their belongings. It also gave the three of them an opportunity to get organized, so they didn't have to live out of suitcases or boxes while they were with us.
After we'd completed all of that, we then went down to the family room and took a breather. Between the basketball and what they'd just done, the boys were tired, but so were Cherie, Sally and I, since Sally had been helping Cherie the entire time too.
"Thank you so much for doing all of that for us," Cherie told me after a few seconds of sitting in silence. "You've all gone out of your way to make us feel comfortable and done far more than I ever expected."
"That's what families do and we're all family here," I told her, to let her know she and the boys were more than welcome here.
"You amaze me more every day," Cherie replied and I merely smiled at her in return. "Since you're doing so much for us, I plan to return the favor and will take some responsibilities from you. As long as we're here, I'll do the cooking, cleaning and take care of the laundry. That should give you a little more time to take care of the boys for me, because I'm pretty sure they're going to need your help more than mine for a while."
"We can share those other responsibilities, plus the boys usually pitch in and help with that stuff too, and I'll still do what I can for your sons," I offered, since I didn't want her to feel obligated to do those things.
"No, I insist you let me do this for you," Cherie countered. "It is the least I can do in return for your understanding, generosity and help."
"For the time being I will let you do it, if that's what you want," I hesitantly agreed, "but we can adjust the arrangement at any time. I'll leave it entirely up to you."
Since that had been settled, we decided to watch a movie together next. Before we did that, however, Sally said she was going to excuse herself for a while, because she wanted to go home and pick up a few things too. She'd told Cherie she'd spend tonight helping her sort things out, but she would need a few more items from home before she could do it. I told her that would be fine and Andrew could stay with us while she was gone.
"I never had any doubts about that," Sally quipped as she gave me a wink. Then, she gave Andrew a kiss before heading out the front door to her car.
Sally returned before the movie ended and had a small travel bag with her. After setting it down next to the staircase, she came in to join us and watched the rest of the movie with her son sitting on her lap. When it ended, Cherie and Sally followed me out to the kitchen, as I went to see what there was to fix for dinner. As soon as I went over the options with them, the two women chased me out of the kitchen and informed me that they would prepare the meal. After studying the determined looks on their faces, I retreated to the other room and joined the boys again.
An hour later, we enjoyed a wonderful meal together, and after the boys took the dishes out, rinsed them off and put them in the dishwasher, Sally made a comment.
"Cherie and I will take care of everything else and you boys can go spend time with Uncle Blake until he takes you upstairs to get ready for bed. The two of us will join you a little later, but for right now it's males only time to do whatever you want to do."
Although that was a very nice offer, it also made me wonder if there might be a hidden motive for it. Maybe I was being overly suspicious after recent events, but I couldn't push that idea out of my mind. What exactly was she hinting at when she said it was 'males only time' and what exactly did she think we were going to do?
I eventually pushed those thoughts from my mind, as the boys and I found a college basketball tournament on TV and settled in to watch it. It turned out to be a pretty good game and Dylan and Tyler were focused on what the better players were doing that they would be capable of emulating. The younger group was merely enjoying the action and I took the time to explain anything they had questions about or didn't understand. I was also having a good time watching all of them, as I was enjoying the game too.
At the half, I took the younger group upstairs for their showers. They knew the routine now, so while they were stripping down to their undies, I went to undress and adjusted the water temp. They decided to mix up the shower pairs again, but that was fine with me, as long as they all agreed with it.
After washing all four and having them slip on their pajamas, we went back downstairs and watched the rest of the game. It was actually a very exciting second half and Georgia Tech ended up pulling out the victory in the final seconds of the game. I think the boys and I were all exhausted just from watching the action and cheering for the Yellow Jackets.
Once the game ended, I took the boys upstairs. The door to Tyler's room was closed and I could hear voices coming from inside, so it looked as if the women were calling it a night too. Sally had agreed to stay once again, since she wasn't convinced Cherie was ready to be left alone. I thought it was nice of her to do that, so I knocked on the door and let them know the boys were in bed, in case they wanted to say goodnight to them too. Dylan and Tyler gave both women a hug and kiss goodnight too, before we went into our bedroom.
As we were taking our showers, I agreed that I'd masturbate each one after I washed him, but only if he promised to keep the noise down. I told them the women probably wouldn't think anything about the shower being long, since there were three of us, and it would keep the boys from getting blue balls for a little while longer.
We cuddled in bed afterward, with one boy on each side, and I wondered how long we'd be able to continue doing this with Cherie in the house. Then again, maybe it wouldn't bother her knowing that I was just showing her son a little love and filling a need that his father had been oblivious to. Yes, she might understand after all.
By the time the boys and I got up Saturday morning, Sally and Cherie already had something ready for breakfast, so we just sat down at the table and let them serve us. Justin and Marcus had woken up first and they told the women they liked French toast, so that's what the women made. I had to admit it was good and a nice change from having to fix everything myself.
After we finished eating, Sally decided to go home. She wanted to take Andrew with her, but he wanted to stay with us, so she gave in and left him behind. Before she left, I assured her that I would bring him home before dinner on Sunday.
After we'd said goodbye to Sally, Cherie and I decided to head to the grocery store and do some shopping. We left Dylan and Tyler behind to watch the other boys until we got back, while we went to pick up the items we'd need, since there would be more of us at the house for the time being.
After we picked up everything we thought would be required for the week, we went home and the boys helped us carry it inside, while Cherie and I put it all away. Almost as soon as we finished doing that, Cherie started making lunch for everyone, but she also asked the boys to bring down their dirty clothes so she could do some laundry. Her sons looked at me funny, so I had Marcus and Tyler explain to Justin and Dylan that they'd just have to start putting their dirty clothes in the hampers too, at least as long as they stayed with us. Then I sent them upstairs to bring the hampers down and Dylan said he'd bring mine down too.
After we ate, the boys quickly took care of the dirty dishes and Cherie started working on the laundry. I told her that we could help out and she didn't have to do all of it, but she insisted, as her way to pay me back for letting them stay with us. I repeated that it wasn't necessary, but she wouldn't listen, so I took the boys to the family room to watch some of the college football games.
We actually did that for the rest of the day and the only break we took was to eat dinner, when Cherie told us it was on the table. It seemed strange to me that I didn't have to do all the work and I could probably get used to this, but I knew it wasn't going to last forever. Even if she and Don weren't able to reconcile, Cherie would probably end up getting her own place for Dylan, Justin and her.
Once we finished eating, the boys and I went back to the family room to watch more football games. When I started to take the younger boys upstairs to shower, Cherie made sure that we took up whatever clothes of ours she had already washed. After we'd put those things away, I washed the four younger ones and got them ready for bed, before allowing them to go back downstairs. I thought I was done at that point, but I found Tyler and Dylan waiting for me when I walked back into my bedroom.
"Can we shower with you now?" Dylan wanted to know, mildly surprising me. "Since my mom's downstairs, maybe we can do something quick in the shower." I thought about his request for a minute before I responded.
"Ok, but it can't take too long," I agreed.
After I washed each of the boys, I knelt down in front of him, took his penis in my mouth and sucked him off. They both seemed grateful that I had done this for them, but they also appeared to have needed it as well. Then, while one of them was washing me, the other one was busy doing the same thing to me, although they switched midway, so they each got a chance to do both.
After we'd dried off and put something on, we went downstairs again too. I felt badly that Cherie was still working so hard and doing so much, but she ignored my suggestions to stop and join us for a while. The boys and I even offered to stop watching football and put on a movie instead, but she wasn't moved by our offer and continued doing her thing. That's when I started to think she was intentionally keeping busy so she wouldn't have think about how things stood with her husband.
Eventually I took the little ones upstairs and put them to bed, and when I came downstairs again I told the older pair I was going to spend some time with Cherie. They didn't have a problem with this, so I headed out to the kitchen to speak with her.
Chapter 67 The Transition
When I went out to the kitchen, Cherie was still busy cleaning up, so I asked if she'd take a few minutes so we could chat. After she agreed, I poured us both a cup of coffee and we went into the dining room to talk.
"Look, I appreciate everything you're doing, but you don't need to spend all your time working," I stated, once we were both seated at the table. "Tomorrow, I want you to spend more time with the rest of us, because we're all very worried about you, especially your sons." She looked up at me and a slight grin started to cross her lips.
"It's nice to know that you all care, but this has given me some time to myself so I could think about things," she countered, as she explained her recent actions. "It's not easy going through this and I've been thinking about some of the information Sally shared with me. I hate to think my marriage might be over, since I've invested so much time and energy into it, but I've got to do what's best for my sons."
"I think they both know that and it's why they're so worried," I confessed. "Dylan and Justin have each expressed to me that they're worried you're going to give up everything just for them. They said they've made it this far living with their father too, so they're willing to put up with it a little while longer, as long as he's willing to compromise a little too."
"That's the problem. Don doesn't think he has to change at all and wants us to do whatever he says," Cherie informed me. "I'm not about to do that and I'm worried about how he'll treat Dylan, now that he knows about him."
"Yes, that could be a problem," I concurred. "After seeing the way Don had reacted to me, I'm worried about how he's going to treat Dylan from now on too. So you don't think there's any chance that he will go easier on Dylan, since this time the gay person is his son?"
"I highly doubt it and suspect he might be even worse to Dylan, especially after I'd confronted Don about it again when I went home yesterday," she confirmed. When she looked up at me, she had the saddest expression on her face and I could see her eyes were beginning to water. I expected she was about to burst into tears.
"So do you know what you're going to do next?" I followed, since I wanted to get some idea what she had in mind.
"Sally gave me the names of a couple of divorce lawyers that she heard are really good," she answered. "I'm going to call both of them on Monday and see if I can get a free consultation. Then I'll be able to decide which, if either, I'm going to use."
"So you're going through with this?" I asked, just to be certain.
"Don's leaving me no choice," she replied. "I was hoping he would be more rational when I went over to the house to speak with him yesterday, but absolutely nothing has changed. He was the same stubborn S.O.B. that we saw here on Thanksgiving Day and I don't see that changing any time soon."
"I'm sorry to hear that, but you and the boys are welcome to stay here with us for as long as you need," I stated to let her know it was one thing she didn't have to worry about.
"Thank you and we'll share all of the expenses with you," Cherie assured me. "I have all my bank cards and things, so we're not destitute, and I'll take drastic action if Don tries to interfere with those."
"Don't do anything foolish, because we'll work something out in the meantime, if anything like that happens," I countered, to let her know she still had some options.
"You're a good man, Blake Weaver," Cherie followed. "That's why it's even more difficult to understand Don's present stance. He knows what a great guy you are too, because we've talked about you before, but he is letting his preconceived notions cloud his judgment."
"Yes, up until yesterday I'd thought Don and I had always gotten along quite well," I confirmed while making eye contact with her. "I knew how he felt about gays prior to this, because Dylan had told me about his father when he first confessed to me that he was gay too, but I hoped Don would judge Dylan and me on our own merits. I was even somewhat encouraged when he invited me to go along with him when he took the boys to the football games and that the two of you allowed me to help your sons with their birthday parties. I guess in the end the gay thing was just too much for him to overcome."
"He had made his views very clear about this previously, so I'd tried to figure out if there was possibly something in his past that made him so hostile about gays," Cherie stated. It almost appeared as if she was trying to think back in time so she could discover the moment when it might have happened. "Whatever it was, it must have taken place before we met. It must have also been fairly traumatic for him, because he has been like this for as long as I can remember." I merely nodded to let her know I understood what she was saying.
Cherie and I actually talked for so long that it was getting quite late when we finally finished up. As soon as we realized what time it was, we agreed we should probably turn in and walked to the family room to let Dylan and Tyler know it too. They wanted to see the end of the game they'd been watching, so Cherie went upstairs by herself, while I sat down to join the boys. There was something I needed to do as well and I felt I could accomplish it while they were watching the rest of the game.
"You're mother said things didn't go well with your father when she went home earlier," I explained to Dylan during the break. "She's planning on talking to a divorce lawyer this week, but I don't want you to start thinking this is just about you. She is deeply concerned about how your father would treat all of you from now on, since you all stood up to him. She also knows that you and Justin don't want to stop coming over here either, but she's convinced your father won't allow that to happen from now on either. So there were a lot of different things that went into her decision and helped to make up her mind. In a way, it is partially because of me too, not just you three."
"So she's not doing this just because I told him I was gay?" Dylan followed, looking concerned.
"Only partially, but the situation is far larger than that," I assured him. "She worries that none of you will be happy, or possibly even safe, if she takes you back there to live, so she feels what she's doing is the best choice for right now. I think she's hoping things might change later, so you can all get back together, but it all depends on how your father reacts."
"Then I don't see us ever being with him again," Dylan admitted. "I hate that this is happening, but I'm kinda glad it's not all about me. I would feel really awful if I thought I was the one that was keeping my mom and Justin from being happy."
"It's your father who is doing that, not you, so you can put those thoughts completely out of your mind," I urged and he seemed to relax a bit after I'd said that. We then watched the rest of the game together, before the three of us went upstairs to turn in.
When we woke up Sunday morning, I told Dylan and Tyler what I planned to do today, before we went down to breakfast. We weren't really surprised to find Cherie already in the kitchen when we got there and she was prepared to make us waffles. She had also thawed out a package of frozen strawberries to put on top of the waffles, which immediately appealed to the three of us. As she was getting our breakfast ready, she asked the boys to set the table and grab their drinks, while I went over and poured myself a cup of coffee.
"How long have you been up?" I wondered, while looking at her concerned. I wasn't sure if she had slept at all.
"Maybe a half hour," she answered. "I actually slept pretty well last night, but then I had a troubling dream that woke me up."
"About the current situation?" I followed and she merely nodded her head in response. "Well Dylan, Tyler and I have already talked it over and we've agreed to go to the cinema to see a movie, as soon as we can get everyone ready. You're coming with us too. We all insist on it."
"I appreciate the thought, but I'm not sure I'm up for it," she countered, unwilling to agree.
"We have agreed that we won't go either, unless you join us, so you would actually be spoiling it for all of us," I countered. I felt that putting a little pressure on her might make her give in, since she wouldn't want to ruin it for her sons.
"Do you know what you're going to see?" she asked, figuring maybe she could make up her mind after finding out that detail.
"We'll all go to my office after the other boys get up so we can use the computer to see what's playing," I explained, mildly encouraged that she hadn't immediately said no. "The boys are willing to compromise and find something you would like to see as well, because they don't want you to use the movie we select as an excuse not to go." She looked up at me and smiled.
"And I'm sure you had something to do with their making this decision," she stated, shaking her head.
"Actually, it was Dylan's suggestion," I replied, staring her in the eye. "He obviously knows you well enough to conclude that you might use it as an excuse to stay behind."
"Ok, after I feed the rest of the troops," she conceded, chuckling slightly to herself. "I'm glad Dylan is starting to act more like you than his father though."
I didn't know how to respond to her comment, so I didn't. I knew it was meant as a compliment to both of us, but I was just going to accept this minor victory, no matter how it was achieved.
The younger boys came down a few minutes later, so I explained things to them as they were filling their bellies. They seemed to like the idea too, so after they finished eating, I took everyone to my office and we all gathered around the computer. We spent the next few minutes tossing around various ideas, in an attempt to see who would be interested in going to which movie. After several minutes, we finally settled on the movie 'Max', which was about Marine service dog that suffered from PTSD after the soldier it was assigned to was killed in action. It sounded as if the movie would appeal to the boys, Cherie and myself, so that's what we agreed to see.
After everyone got dressed, we loaded into the Outback and headed over to the cinema complex. Since it was one of the early viewings the theater wasn't too crowded, so we found an empty row where we could all sit together. Justin and Dylan sat on either side of Cherie and then Tyler sat next to Dylan. Marcus had followed Justin to the far end of the row and took a seat beside him. I think he did that to offer his friend some moral support, while at the same time realizing that Justin needed to spend time with his mother too. Ethan then sat down next to Tyler and I took a seat next to him, before Andrew sat down on my other side.
It didn't stay that way for very long though, because Andrew and Ethan started taking turns sitting on my lap. Andrew did it first, so he would be close to Ethan too, but they agreed to change places about halfway through the movie. They had actually both wanted to sit on my lap at the same time, but the theater seat just wasn't large enough and the arm rests got in the way too, so this was the best alternative the pair could come up with. They also made sure I'd let them know when the movie was about half over so they could switch around, so I kept an eye on my watch. I already knew the movie was just under 2 hours long, so it wasn't that tough to do.
The movie was actually pretty good and I think we all fell in love with the dog and the loyalty it showed to its fallen partner, Kyle. Eventually, however, Max came to live with Kyle's family and switched his loyalty over to Kyle's brother, Justin, who was taking care of him now. The boy playing Justin was really cute and enjoyable to watch too, so that was another plus for Dylan, Tyler and me. Since the plot revolved around Justin and the dog, it was more than sufficient to hold our attention.
When the movie ended, I decided to take everyone over to O'Charley's for lunch. I felt this would give Cherie another break, so she didn't feel as if she had to immediately fix us all something to eat when we got back, but it would also give us a chance to chat about the movie and some other topics at the same time. Cherie sat on one side of the table, with Dylan and Justin on either side of her. Tyler sat at the end of the table next to Dylan and Marcus did the same thing at the other end, so he could sit beside Justin. I sat across from Cherie, with Ethan and Andrew on either side of me.
After we'd looked over the menus, decided what we wanted and placed our orders, we began talking about the film. "I really liked Max," Andrew stated, beaming. "He was a really good dog."
"Yeah, he was really brave too," Marcus added, nodding in agreement. "It would be so cool to have a dog like that."
"Yeah, it would," Justin agreed while turning toward his mother. "I wish I could have a dog like him some time."
"A dog can be really nice to have around to keep you company, but the right dog could also be used as a guard dog," Cherie agreed. "The problem is, a dog can be a lot of work too, since someone has to be responsible to feed and water it. Not only that, but the dog will need to be taken outside for exercise and to go to the toilet too. Since we live in the city, you would also have to be willing to pick up after the dog when it takes a poop, so it doesn't create problems."
"Ewww! That would be gross!" Justin exclaimed, wrinkling his nose and scrunching up his face.
"It's a responsibility that someone would need to take care of," Cherie pointed out while looking directly at Justin. "You would find it even grosser if you stepped in it or fell into the poop that you left laying around the yard later, such as when you were out playing."
I think her comment may have temporarily ended her son's desire to have a dog, but possibly not entirely. I think Cherie was also thinking ahead about this too, like when she mentioned that 'the right one could be a good guard dog too'. If she were living alone with the two boys, it might be a good idea for them to have a dog to help protect them.
"I kinda liked Justin better than Max," Dylan added, as his mother turned quickly in his direction and grinned.
"Yeah, he was cute," Tyler added in support. This time Cherie looked across the table and grinned at me.
"What can I say, other than they seem to have pretty good tastes," I joked, to keep the mood light. Cherie just shook her head and smiled in response.
When we got back to the house, the boys announced that they wanted to watch the Falcons' game next. They also informed me that they expected me to watch it with them. I hated to do that, because it would leave Cherie alone and I had a feeling that she would appreciate some company, so I hemmed and hawed for a few seconds before responding. I was trying to find a way to let the boys know I had something else to do instead, but Cherie beat me to the punch.
"Go ahead and watch the game with them," Cherie urged, while grinning at all of us. "I know the boys like to have your attention when they're doing things like this and I'll be fine. I just want to make a list of things that I'll need to do this week, as well as compose another list of demands that I intend to make when I meet with the lawyer. If you have some paper and a pen I can use, I'll be fine out here by myself."
Since she seemed to be sincere and honestly acted as if she preferred some time alone to do this, I went to my office to get the required items for her. I came back carrying a legal pad and a couple of pens and gave them to her. She thanked me and once again assured me she'd be fine, after she noticed I was still hesitating about going to join the boys.
"They need you too, especially my two, since they most likely feel abandoned by their father," Cherie offered once more, now that we were alone. "I'm truly glad they know they can depend on you, otherwise this could be a really rough time for them."
"Ok, as long as you don't feel you're being taken advantage of in a male dominated environment," I replied, to let her know I still felt badly about leaving her out.
"What do you think I had at home?" she countered, and I quickly realized what she meant. "Just go and don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
When I walked into the family room, Ethan came trotting over to me. "Uncle Blake, can me and Andrew go up to your room and watch Disney or Nickelodeon instead?"
"Sure, if that's what you want to do," I agreed, since I could tell this pair wasn't interested in the game today. "Just no horsing around up there. Ok?"
"Ok," Ethan chirped back, before he and Andrew went racing toward the stairs.
"Sit here, Uncle Blake," Justin urged, as he patted a place beside him on the couch.
It would put me between him and his brother, with Tyler sitting next to Dylan and Marcus on the other side of Justin. It was a little crowded and a bit uncomfortable, until Justin stood up and then sat on my lap instead. When he did that, I wrapped an arm around his waist and the other around his brother's shoulders, since I felt Dylan and Justin could probably use a little extra affection right now. Then, we focused on the screen.
I noticed that Cherie popped her head in a little later to see how we were doing. When I glanced in her direction after noticing the movement in the doorway, she merely smiled to let me know she approved of what I was doing with her sons. Then, I saw her turn around and head back into the living room, with the legal pad in one hand and the pens in the other.
At halftime I went out to see what she was up to and found her in the kitchen getting things ready to fix dinner. "Would you like some help with that?" I asked, since I didn't want her to think she had to do everything.
"No, I'm fine," she replied. "I'm used to doing this and it's not that much harder to fix a little more, since there are a few more of us here than what I dealt with at home. Just let me know what time you'd like to eat."
"Well the boys have already let me know that they want to go out and work on their basketball after the game ends," I informed her as I was trying to calculate a time. "I'll take Andrew home after we do that, because I know Sally wants him to eat with her."
"Ok, that gives me a good idea then," Cherie stated. "I'll just get everything ready, but I won't put it in the oven until you finish up outside and get ready to take Andrew back. That should work out just about right."
Since that had been worked out, I went upstairs to check on Ethan and Andrew next. They were laughing and watching cartoons, so I merely told them what we were going to do once the game ended. They thought it was a good idea too, so they told me they'd come down and join us at that time. I then went back to the family room to watch the rest of the game with the other boys.
Regrettably, everyone's mood was a little down when the game ended, because the Falcons lost. I put an end to that though when I told them to go get their basketballs and head outside. While they were doing that, they completely forgot all about the football game. I also went upstairs to make sure Ethan and Andrew were joining us too, since I knew they didn't want to be left out.
We began by running some drills operating as partners, starting with dribbling and passing drills. Each pair was able to do these things at their own skill level, so it was working out fine. Then, I let them dribble up to the hoop for layups, although they were more like short jump shots for the four youngest, once they got close to the basket to shoot. At one point I turned around and noticed Cherie was sitting on the front stoop watching us, with a broad smile on her face that went from ear-to-ear.
"I'll put dinner in the oven in about twenty minutes and it will be ready about an hour after that," she informed me. I knew she was doing this so I could gauge what I was doing and still be able to get Andrew home in time.
When I saw Cherie go into the house later to do that, I knew we could keep going for about another twenty minutes. We ran a few more drills and then I let the boys just shoot for a while. They were all pretty good about taking turns doing this, so their basketballs didn't bang into each other on the way to the hoop, since they each had their own ball. After they'd done that for a while, I sent Andrew inside to get his things.
"I wish I could stay over here too, like Justin and Dylan are," he told me when I brought this up.
"They are only staying because they can't go home right now," I responded, hoping he'd understand. "Your mommy wants to see you and spend time with you too, so you're lucky you can go home to do that. Just be grateful that you've been here so long already. You were only supposed to stay here Wednesday and Thursday nights, but you got to stay Friday and Saturday too."
Andrew nodded slightly in return, before he spoke. "Yeah, that was pretty good, with mommy staying here too." Then, he raced inside to get his things.
While Andrew was doing that, I told the other boys they could stay and continue working on basketball, since Cherie would be there too. They were ok with that, except for Ethan, because he wanted to go with us. I finally relented and took him with me, but I told the boys to let Cherie know where Ethan was, if she came outside to check on them.
When we pulled into the driveway to drop Andrew off, Sally came out to greet us. "Did you have a good time?" she asked her son and he grinned broadly in response.
"Yeah, I had a lot of fun," he assured her.
"Good! You can tell me all about it after we eat," she told him before turning toward me. "How's Cherie doing?"
"She's holding up really well, but mostly by keeping busy," I answered. "I took them all to see a movie this morning and then we went to O'Charley's for lunch, so that gave her a little break. I just hope she's ok when the boys are in school and I'm at work tomorrow."
"I'm sure she will be, because I know she has a lot she's planning to do," Sally responded. "She'll be shopping around for a lawyer, but she also told me that she was planning to go back to the house so she could pick up some more things while Don was at work. She'll be busy, so she should be fine."
"I hope so and I want to thank you for leaving Andrew with us," I followed. "It was good that all of the boys were there to keep each other distracted, because it left me a little time to spend with Cherie too."
"I'm sure she appreciates everything you've done for them," Sally stated, before we said goodbye and Ethan and I returned home.
After dinner, I asked the boys if they had any homework they needed to do for the next day. "Dang, I almost forgot about that," Justin responded, as a panicked look came over his face. "Mom, did you bring our school stuff here too?"
"Yes, I believe your backpacks are still out in the car, because you left them there when we came over here on Wednesday," she answered. She then dug out her car key and handed it to Dylan, so he could unlocked the door when they went outside to get what they needed.
When that pair returned, I told all the boys that had homework to get busy and I warned Justin and Dylan that I would check theirs over when they finished, just like I did with the other boys. They both smiled at me in response, because they had noticed I was treating them just like the others. Before they took off to get started though, I took all of the boys out to the kitchen so we could check the school menu on the fridge. I wanted to see if they were going to buy or take their lunches the following day. I was happy when they all agreed to buy, since that was much easier. When I got back, I noticed Cherie was smiling broadly at me too.
"I can't believe how different my boys are when they're over here with you," she said almost immediately. "I've watched them with you all day long and have noticed how they crave your attention, but I've also observed how happy it makes them when you give it to them. It didn't seem to matter whether they were cuddling with you on the couch, going outside to work on basketball or just eating their meals at the same table with you, and I'm sure it's the same way when you're helping them get ready for bed too."
That last comment panicked me slightly, but Cherie was still smiling, so I didn't feel her intention saying it had been negative. She, however, must have noticed the worried look that briefly crossed my face, because she spoke again.
"Don't worry. I have no problems with you doing those things for them," she assured me. "I must admit that I was a little surprised when I discovered Justin was letting you bathe him, because he stopped me from doing that a few years ago. Then, I realized it was because you were a guy and he was probably trying to make up for the fact that his father would never do anything like that for him. I also wouldn't be surprised if Dylan was asking you to do those things for him too."
Damn! She just threw me another curve ball, but I felt I should be honest with her. She had been good about everything so far and didn't seem to have a problem with any of it, so I decided to tell her the entire truth, at least where the issue of bathing was concerned.
"At first I gave them baths, but then the boys decided they'd rather take showers instead," I began. "I was slightly hesitant about doing that with them at first, since it meant I would have to get naked to do it, so we didn't do it for quite a while. The boys didn't give up though and kept pestering me to do it every time they were here and eventually I relented. I hope it doesn't bother you."
"Not at all!" she answered, without even the slightest hesitation. "I think it might have even been good for Justin to see that males could be naked together, especially boys and men, without it becoming a major issue. I'm sure his father would have freaked out about doing that, but I've seen how much calmer Justin is since he's been doing that over here and how there's a lot less screaming between him and Dylan upstairs."
"I'm glad you approve," I replied, breathing a sigh of relief. "It takes a huge weight off of my shoulders. I was a little worried about how you were going to react once you found out." Cherie merely smiled again and patted my arm. That gave me the courage to tell her more.
"As far as Dylan goes, he and Tyler had been taking showers together since he first started coming over here. It was probably due to the fact that they did it at school too, but this was never a concern. I'm not sure when it started, but eventually they began asking if I'd shower with them too, after they realized I was bathing all the other boys. I had to admit I was more than a little surprised by their request at first, but after they kept hounding me to do it, I finally gave in to them too. I felt it was no different than showering with them at a gym or the YMCA, although I was aware of how Don might react if he found out what we were doing. Your sons informed me about how he was and promised they'd never tell him that they did those things here."
"That was very wise of them, because we've seen how he reacted to just finding out you were gay," Cherie confirmed. "I am a little surprised that Dylan didn't ask you to wash him too, or has he?" I must have blushed when she said that.
"Yes, he eventually asked me to do that for him too," I replied, as I felt the heat radiating from my face. I couldn't believe how embarrassed it made me feel.
"Well I hope you gave in to him, because I'm sure he asked you for the same reasons Justin did," Cherie offered in return. "I think Don damaged them both slightly with his outdated views, so I'm hoping you have done what you could to reverse the process."
"Surprisingly, that's almost exactly what Dylan argued while trying to convince me to do it for him," I admitted. "He said he wanted to see what it was like to have an adult male do it for him so he'd know what it felt like to be loved. He suddenly put it that way after I had suggested that he and Tyler could wash each other."
"I'm glad you did what you thought was best for Dylan, even though you were concerned that it might cause you problems if Don found out," Cherie responded, before moving closer and giving me a hug. "I'm not sure if you'll ever realize how much you've done for Dylan and Justin by reversing the perceptions their father had tried to force on them, but the transformation has been tremendous. I knew Don's views weren't healthy for them, but I only realized how damaging they'd been after they started staying over here. Once I saw how you were with Ethan, Marcus and Tyler, and after my sons saw it and became part of it too, they went through a complete metamorphosis. The three of us owe it all to you."
"Maybe some of it, but my three played a big part in that too," I confessed, trying to downplay my importance. "If they weren't as open with me since the very first day I moved in here, then none of this would have happened. I was lucky that Matt and Kelly had been very open and honest with the boys too, because the hardest part was already accomplished by the time I took over here."
"Yes, I suppose that's true too," Cherie conceded, "but you've played a big role in this too. I'm sure things wouldn't have turned out this well if Matt and Kelly had named someone else guardian of their sons. Whether you are willing to admit it or not, you've played a big part in all the boys' lives and have had a truly amazing and positive influence with each of them."
Luckily, a couple of the boys returned at that point and handed me their homework to look over. I could see Cherie out of the corner of my eye as I was doing this and she continued glancing between the boys and me, smiling the entire time.
Once the boys were done with everything, we all went into the family room to see what was on TV. We found something we all agreed to watch together, and then Cherie and I sat down on the couch. Before long, Ethan crawled onto Cherie's lap and Justin sat on mine again. Dylan found enough room to sit beside me on the other side, while Tyler sat on the floor between Dylan and my legs and Marcus did the same thing between Cherie and my legs. It was a very cozy way to watch television.
When it was time to take the boys upstairs for their shower routine, Cherie gave us a knowing smile. Ethan, Marcus and Justin went with me first, since I felt we could all squeeze in the stall together, since none of them wanted to shower alone.
"Mom knows that we shower with you, doesn't she?" Justin asked once we were inside the shower stall.
"Yes, she does," I confirmed, as I noted the worried expression on his face. "She's ok with it though and she's even glad that you no longer have problems doing things like this now." As soon as I said this, Justin released the breath he'd been holding in.
"Good, because I was worried about that," he confessed. "I had a feeling she knew that we didn't take baths any longer, because she told me to enjoy the shower when we were heading up here."
"Yes, she and I talked about it while you boys were doing your homework and she doesn't have a problem with it," I explained.
"But I hope she doesn't tell Dad," Justin added, as his eyes grew wide just thinking about it.
"She's definitely smart enough not to do anything like that," I confirmed, much to his relief. "She's just glad that you and Dylan seem so happy and relaxed being here and doing things like this."
"Yeah, we both like staying with you and I'm glad she's ok that we take showers with you," he announced as he wrapped his arms around my waist and gave me a naked hug.
When we finished up, I sent the boys over to their bedrooms so they could put on their pajamas. When I came out, I found Dylan and Tyler sitting on my bed waiting for me. I left them there for a few seconds, while I went over to tuck the younger boys in for the night. The older pair were still sitting on the bed, completely dressed, when I entered again a couple of minutes later. I shut the door and looked at them oddly, wondering why they hadn't undressed yet. Did they wait to get undressed because I'd left the door open or was there another reason? I didn't have to wait long before I got my answer.
"Does my mom know we shower with you?" Dylan asked, nearly panicked.
"What makes you ask that?" I followed, just to see what had caused his reaction.
"When we didn't get up with the other boys, she told us to hurry up and get upstairs if we wanted you to wash us," he answered, looking just as concerned as before.
"Yes, she led me into a discussion about that while you boys were working on your homework," I confessed. "Don't worry, she doesn't have a problem with it. She thinks it has helped you and Justin a lot, since your father would never do anything like that with you."
"Really? I can't fucking believe it," Dylan responded, before slapping his hand over his mouth when he'd realized what he'd just said. "Sorry, but I'm just surprised that she not only knows that we do this with you, but she's ok with it too."
"I know, we had a long talk about it and she says she can see how happy you boys are, so she thanked me for doing these things with you," I confirmed.
"Damn! That's really hard to believe, but I'm glad she feels this way," Dylan followed. "Does she know about the other stuff too?"
"I'm not sure if she suspects anything or not, but she has never asked and I haven't shared that information with her," I replied. "She's just told me that she has noticed how different you boys are when you're over here and she is pleased by the changes she's seen in both you and Justin."
"Wow! I'm amazed she's said that, but please don't tell her about the sex stuff. Ok?" he pressed, while staring at my face.
"Yes, I would agree it's probably best not to confirm that fact for her," I concurred.
"So does it mean we can start doing stuff again while she's here?" he immediately wanted to know.
"Not if you want to keep it a secret from her," I replied. "I'm afraid she still might recognize the moans of pleasure without anything to drown them out. I think I can probably get away with masturbating you or sucking you off in the shower, since the running water should drown out most of the noise, as long as you boys promise to keep it down."
"We will!" they both quickly agreed.
"Yeah, we just don't want to go a long time without doing nothin'," Dylan added as we started to get undressed. Once again I decided not to point out his use of the double negative and what he'd actually just said.
Therefore, after I washed each one, I quickly sucked him off too, but that was all we did. Of course they had to return the favor, which I allowed them to do as well, and then we got out, dried off and brushed our teeth before getting into bed together. They cuddled up against me and I wrapped my arms around them at the same time, as we prepared to sleep.
"In a way I hope my mom and dad don't make up and we can just stay here like this," Dylan whispered in my ear a short time later. I just made a mental note to talk to him about this as soon as I could find the opportunity to be alone with him.
