Donald White is an RPG fanatic.  He has played every RPG he could get
his hands on, online, computer RPG, and regular RPGs.  One day, he
purchases a computer game that promises to be “the most realistic RPG
you’ve ever seen.”  Don has his doubts, but the game more than delivers
on its promise.  “Dragonseeker” sends Don, his two friends, and their
sisters to Zemlia Nov.  Their mission: to find the Yellow Dragon,
Vernior, so they can get home.

_Authors’ Notes:_

I started this story some months ago.  It came, originally,
from an idea dreamed up by some of the members of the old Wolfpack.
The version of this story I started to write also had a lot of
developmental help from Top_Quark.

When I departed the Internet, I had to think long and hard
about what to do with my stories.  I decided that there were some I
just had to have finished.  This is one of them.  I know that Ice
Phoenix has planned to do the story differently than I was going to,
but that’s okay by me.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I know I
will.

I wrote the Prologue and the first three chapters.
Everything after that is Ice Phoenix’s work.  He deserves the credit
for this story: it’s not really “mine” now.  I’m sure he’ll do an
excellent job with this story.  Please give him all the encouragement
and support you would have given me writing this story.

Net nearly had to twist my arm to get me to write this
story.  I’m not fond of being directly compared to someone like him,
and there is no more direct comparison than having to finish up
something he started.

Net Wolf encouraged me to rewrite the portions he’d already
done, but I decided to leave these intact.  You, the readers, deserve
the best version of the work available, and that would be *his* version.

I hope that I can be a worthy successor to Net Wolf, though
no one can replace him.  I also hope you enjoy the story.
