Goodbye Is Forever
by Larissa (larissa.uk132@gmail.com)
***
A young maiden on a Welsh hillside meets her lover who
has returned from the trenches in France. (MF, 1st,
hist, rom, preg)
***
A tear crept down her cheek.
She didn't know why, sitting there, on the Welsh
hillside, the breeze cooling the intense August heat.
She looked around her, admiring the view over the
valley, hugging her legs to her body. She sighed, again
feeling a wave of overwhelming sadness come over her.
Her thoughts turned to David, who was fighting in
France, her fiance. She couldn't wait for him to come
home so they could be married, and after being married,
they could finally do... well... what it was they
didn't dare do when he last came home on leave from the
front. She'd let him go further than her mother
would've approved of and her father would've gotten out
the shotgun, but she loved him, and... Oh hellfires, he
was so attractive, especially in the uniform he'd worn
home on leave - all the village girls had been so
jealous of her!!
She squeezed her legs together, not really
understanding the pulsing deep inside her, and hugged
her legs to her more tightly. She felt like she did
when she was in David's arms, needing something, but
she didn't know what. Mother said she'd find out when
she was a married woman, till then, not for the likes
of children like her to know. Faith sighed, resting her
chin on her forearm, draped over her knees, then lay
back in the long grass, looking up at the clear blue
sky. Then she felt someone lie down next to her, and
she turned to see who it was, wondering why she'd not
seen or heard them coming.
"David!" she exclaimed in surprise. "How did you get
here?" She leaned into him, her head automatically
reaching up for a kiss. He chuckled, pushing his cap
back on his head, and bent to give her a hello kiss,
looking so handsome in his army uniform.
"Well, hello, my sweet and adorable Faith," he said,
chucking her under the chin, then gathering her into
his arms as he lay beside her. "Got some unexpected
leave, so bolted straight for home and you!" Faith
snuggled in happily, smelling his warm, uniquely David
smell that she loved so much, then looked up at him as
he stroked her arm, and as she did, he seized the
opportunity to bend his head down and claim her lips,
turning her over so she was lying on her back, in his
arms, as he kissed her, deeply, strongly, with intense
passion and longing. He broke the kiss, and looked at
her, murmuring her name under his breath, touching her
hair, as if trying to burn her looks into his memory
for all time.
"David...?" Faith murmured, a little frightened by the
intensity of his gaze, his emotions. She could feel
something hard between them and didn't know what it
was. All she knew was that she trusted him, and longed
to be his wife, and anything else, any other
considerations, had quite flown out of her mind. He
bent his head and kissed her again, his lips gently
opening hers, his tongue meeting hers, the pulsing in
her groin growing stronger and stronger. She jumped as
she felt a hand slide up her bare leg, not realising
her dress had been pushed up to expose her legs, and
she tried to stop him, to push her dress back down, to
cover herself modestly, although she didn't want to.
"David..." she moaned, breathing hard, against his
mouth, and he lifted his head briefly, whispered,
"Trust me..." and she gave herself to him, placed her
trust in him, and let go. Her legs parted, and with a
small cry of triumph as he sensed her surrender, he
touched her, intimately, the pulsing taking on a
demanding life of its own, creating a need that
demanded to be met within her. He fumbled at his groin,
shifting to lie on top of her, his weight pleasantly
heavy on her, the two of them kissing, arms around each
other in the warm grass, the sun beating down on them,
the insects buzzing around.
He stopped, then, something hard pressing against her
most intimate parts, and looked into her eyes. The
pressure increased against her, sliding within her, and
she knew that this should be kept for her wedding
night, but she could deny him nothing, now. He stopped
as he felt a resistance inside her, and whispered..
"Hold on".. and she nodded, knew she was about to lose
her maidenhead, gripping the grass besides them, and
bracing herself. He surged forward, into her, and she
cried out softly as the barrier was breached, and his
body slid home against her - she was filled, with him,
for the first time in her life.
He kissed her, then, tenderly, sweetly, whispering
sweet nothings in her ear, giving her a chance to get
used to him within her. She was tense, at first,
feeling the pain, the resistance, then began to relax,
letting go of the pain as it ebbed away, the pulsing
returning. As David felt her body relax beneath him, he
began to move, thrusting gently, shallowly within her
at first, then, as their passion increased, thrusting
harder, deeper, taking her with him. Moaning, he
reached out for her hands, twining his fingers in hers,
he kept thrusting, holding back on his orgasm, knowing
he had to, for her sake.
Faith was no longer thinking, just responding to his
urges, to hers.. the pulsing was an overriding drumbeat
within her now, her need demanding to be met, needing
to crest. She cried out, her legs locking around his
lower body, holding to him, moving with him. Nails
digging into the flesh of his hands, she was so close,
so achingly close, when he suddenly bent his head,
kissing her hard, passionately, deeply, as he'd never
kissed her before, sucking and biting her lower lip.
Then he let go, arched his back, and slammed into her
hard, one last, final time, and she could feel
something else spurting inside her, he was releasing
inside her, and that pushed her over the edge, and it
was her turn to arch her back, crying out David's name,
as indescribable pleasure surged through her body,
turning her from a girl, to David's woman... at long
last.
Her eyes fluttered as she felt David move from his
position on top of her, and a tender kiss pressed to
her lips. "I love you, my sweet, darling Faith," he
whispered. "Always remember that." She murmured
something back, then felt him leave her, and she sat
bolt upright.
"No!" she cried out. "Don't leave me!" She looked
around. She was alone on that grassy hillside, alone
but for the sheep, the sun, the wind. The sadness swept
over her again, and another tear slid down her cheek.
***
"All aboard for Brighton!" The stationmaster called,
and Faith picked up her suitcase, stepping into the
waiting carriage of the train. She felt the swelling of
her body beneath her coat, where her baby was growing,
their baby. She found a seat within a compartment on
the cold train, looking out of the window at the
February frost coating the countryside around her.
"When're you due?" A kindly voice asked her, and she
turned to see a matronly woman smiling at her from the
seat opposite.
"May," Faith replied, with a soft smile. She pulled her
gloves off to stare momentarily at the gold band
adoring her ring finger, on her left hand, the band she
didn't deserve, the band she'd never had placed there
in a church, but the band she needed to wear, for her
protection and the babe's. The matron followed her
gaze.
"Your husband?" She asked, sympathy in her voice.
Faith nodded. "Passchendaele," was all she needed to
reply. David had been killed in the first attacks of
that battle, a battle that cost so many their lives, so
needlessly. He'd been killed as she'd sat on that
hillside, thinking of him, and had come to say goodbye
in the only way he could, and gift her the only thing
he could. Goodbye, for them, truly was forever... and
never...

It's okay to *READ* stories about unprotected sex with
others outside a monogamous relationship. But it isn't
okay to *HAVE* unprotected sex with people other than
a trusted partner. 4-million people around the world
contract HIV every year. You only have one body per
lifetime, so take good care of it!
