Chapter One: Introduction
The rain comes down softly outside my window; the
overcast clouds mirror my mood. Uncle Rick my only
remaining living relative had just passed away. My
father passed away when I was really young, an
unfortunate victim of a carjacking gone badly. My
mother and Uncle Rick had pretty much raised me from
then. Mostly my mother but Uncle Rick was around often
enough to be a "father figure". After graduating from
high school my mother was hit by a drunk driver getting
out of her car.
I was devastated; uncle Rick was there to pick up the
pieces. He insisted that I apply and go to college. At
the time I had no desire although now I can’t possibly
thank him enough. I had done well for myself in the
stock market and I could almost retire on my own. Sadly
no women were able to catch my fancy enough for me to
marry. So I set here in my study 32 years old and no
one I could call family.
Uncle Rick for his part was a brilliant scientist in
the field of neuroscience and apparently very rich.
With that along with my own portfolio I would never
have to work again. That at the moment didn’t matter to
me. I sat there in that study for almost 36 hours
straight, luckily for me Uncle Rick’s voice started to
ring in my head about going on with my life don’t
wallow on what could not be changed. At some point it
made enough difference that I got up took a shower and
I must have slept for another 36 hours.
The next week was a whirr of activity dealing with
Uncle Rick’s estate and paper work. Last but not least
there was a personal lab Uncle Rick kept up in
Colorado, from what was told me it was very nice so I
decided it would be my last stop and I might stay there
a few days to get my mind in order before... well to be
honest I wasn’t sure what I would be doing next.
The lab was deep in a wooded part of the Rockies, and
at first I swore I got the wrong directions and would
soon be hopelessly lost. Just as I was about to turn
around and call the whole thing off a sizeable seemed
emerge (literally) out of the mountain and came into
view. It wasn’t "magic" just an incredible
architectural design.
When I got there one of the lawyers in charge of the
estates and on my uncle’s payroll showed me in and
around the place, it was amazing, every possible
amenity you could think of was in existence, on the
flip side there was nothing ostentatious about the
place just nice.
About thirty minutes after the "tour" started we got to
a large metal door, as we approached it I was expecting
the suit to let us inside but when started to pass I
spoke up "what is in there?" The suit stopped for a
second and then replied "that is Mr. Johnson’s (uncle
Rick) personal lab" I can not get us in there, you
however when you decide can gain entry by placing your
palm on the screen.. With that we continued on through
the house, I barely heard a word he said thinking back
to that metal door. After all the papers were signed
and legalese was out of the way I sat down in the
living room, I glanced back towards the part of the
house where the door was. At that time the flight the
last week of activity was overwhelming so I found the
master bedroom and was soon fast asleep.
The next several days I would rise early in the morning
and take in the surrounding natural scenery, the trails
were well maintained and it was very relaxing and
reinvigorating. On the 4th day it was raining as I got
up in the morning so I knew that a nature walk might be
out of the question.
Around 11:00 I finally decided to check the lab. To be
honest I did not expect my hand to gain me entrance but
as soon as I placed my palm on the panel the computer
sprang to life confirming my identity and drolled on
about something about changing protocols over to me.
After about 45 seconds the metal door slid effortlessly
open.
As I came inside a video monitor sprang to life, there
on the screen was my uncle Rick apparently to give me a
message from the grave.
"John.... I am assuming that if you are seeing this
that I have gone to meet my maker and you are in the
inner sanctum and can see the pride and joy of my
research...." He paused while the camera panned over to
a large computer like device that simultaneously was
being illuminated in the room.
"This is.... Well simply put... is a dream machine, it
allows the computer to map out a brain and insert
dreams that will be dreamed later when the user goes to
sleep.... I know that you may doubt this, but please
try it you will be amazed."
I almost stopped listening as I was trying to put my
mind around what he was telling me. My uncle continued
on describing how to work the device and ended warning
me that for now it should just be for my own use only.
This last statement brought me back to reality, and
since money was not an issue I had no real monetary
desire to go against my Uncle Rick’s wishes.
I sat down at the machine there was a helmet like
device straight out of a bad science fiction movie.
According to the instruction I was to put this on my
head. Naturally cautious, I was worried that maybe some
how this device would take over my mind and maybe this
was Uncle Rick’s way of extending his life. I chuckled
at this, knowing Uncle Rick that would have been the
last thought on his mind. I set there pondering the
options when curiosity won out over caution and I put
the device on my head.
The machine began to hum and lights flickered from all
over the machine. There was a slight warming sensation
on, well rather in my skull. The screen in front of me
acknowledged who I was and that I was the only
authorized user (I am still not sure how Uncle Rick
managed to in code me into the machine.) The screen
offered several options as to what kind of dreams I
would like to have.
I always liked flying dreams so after searching for a
little bit I found that option (at this point I
realized I was choosing all of this with my mind.) The
screen took me to a small tutorial, it had me envision
different things and I was shocked as each image showed
up on the screen just as I imagined it. After a few
moments of this the computer finally told me that dream
download was complete.
I slid the helmet off my head and sat there for a
moment. I had no idea if the dream download would work
but the imaging on the screen by itself was amazing.
Well since nothing would really happen until I went to
sleep I continued my day.
That night as I laid my head down I had almost forgot
that I was suppose to have my "flying dream" but as I
was dowsing off I remembered, and for the next 30
minutes I couldn’t go to sleep because of all the
excitement.
Soon, sleep did come, and almost immediately I found
myself on top of a tall mesa the dream was incredible.
I felt like I could control what was happening or I
could just let the dream happen. With just a thought I
flew up in the air, it was amazing I could just let the
dream take me where ever or I could fly anywhere I
could think of. The feeling was unbelievable, for the
next 8 hours I was a flying machine. At the end of 8
hours the dream just faded away, there was no sense of
loss just contentment.
When I awoke the next morning I felt more refreshed
then I ever thought possible. Apparently the machine
took you into the deepest REM sleep possible and not
only would the user experience incredible dreams but
would awaken more rested than they ever had.
After breakfast I was curious to see what other
adventures I could have...
Over the next week I tried several different things,
the machine could put images in your head, like of
things you had never experienced before or you could
imagine a scene and the machine would construct it for
you. One day as I was just looking around the menu I
ran across a section entitled simply sex. I paused for
a moment before I entered the menu.
For a moment I just looked at all of the options, there
were fantasies of all kind, some utterly repulsive and
some where you could relive a past encounter it was
almost to much. Admittedly my small brain sprang to
life and soon I was sporting a raging hard-on, I knew
that, that night I would be doing one of these dreams,
my dick twitched in agreement as I selected my
choice...

It's okay to *READ* stories about unprotected sex with
others outside a monogamous relationship. But it isn't
okay to *HAVE* unprotected sex with people other than
a trusted partner. 4-million people around the world
contract HIV every year. You only have one body per
lifetime, so take good care of it!
