I didn't know what to say. I told her that I loved her
too and then I led her to the door where Ted and Billy
were waiting.
Thank God that the trip to the motel was a short one.
No one said a word the whole way. We were all good
friends and never had those moments of awkward silence

Once we got back to the motel, we broke out the cooler
full of beer that we had brought with us. We weren't
