The slab of carven stone was placed on one of the unoccupied pillars. The
slab bore the image of the most relevant body parts of an ancient fertility
goddess -- identified as Ishtar by most archaeologists, but Ed knew that she
was someone much, much older...
Streamers of ghostly flame were rising from the pillars almost
continuously now, drifting about in the air before being drawn into the
cracked cave wall. The rumbling from within was low, but also becoming constant.
Ed stood back and looked. "See?" he said aloud. "I told you I would hold up
my end of the bargain." He raised his fists in from of himself and arcs of
crackling ebony spilled out as he slowly spread his fingers. "And you are
delivering everything you promised as well."
He cocked an eyebrow. "Hmm? Oh... her." Ed raised a finger and the black
fire poured up and shaping itself into a sphere. Within, a image of a
blushing Sailor Moon appeared.
"Sailor Moon, of the famous Sailor Scouts," he said, smiling. "I don't
think we have much too worry about from them. In fact, involving the Scouts
may turn out to be an asset."
The dark sphere drifted into the air, expanding until it was big enough
to show a near life-size image of Sailor Moon, as she had stood naked on the
rooftop.
"Time then to..." Ed paused a moment. He sensed that, far away, his
mother was speaking to the simulacrum he had left behind to cover his
absence. If necessary he could take direct control of it and... No, it was
doing fine on its own. A magical simulation of a taciturn teenage boy didn't
really require an especially complex spell.
"Looks like there won't be any interruptions -- and we still have a lot to
get done."
A quick gesture, and the lower half of his black body suit began to
unravel and fade away...

Serena got about two sentences into the account of her recent adventure
before breaking into embarrassed tears. It was up to Luna and Raye to finish
the story.
"But you are okay now, right Serena?" Mina asked.
   Serena nodded, rubbing her eyes.
"Yes," added Luna. "I had her transform to Sailor Moon several times and
her -- well, everything was normal."
Lita smashed her fist into her palm. "So that creep's tricks wear off
after just a little while. Oh, he's got a clobbering coming!"
"But we don't where he'll strike next," said Amy. "Or really anything
about him or what his powers are. He's not from the Negaverse but that's all
we know."
Raye flipped through pages of a computer print-out Amy had brought.
"There sure are an awful lot of...um, erotic artifact collections just here
in Tokyo."
"It's a big city," said Amy. "And rather a lot of art and relics from
ancient civilizations are what we would call erotic. They just don't get
that much publicity."
"I wonder what scientists in the future will make of those comics Raye has
hidden in her closet," said Serena, not quite under her voice.
Raye spun and towered over Serena. "And how do YOU know what I have in my
closet!! You've been sneaking into my room again haven't you!"
Serena crawled back meekly. "I... I was just... looking for that cute new
sweater of yours... so, ah... I could borrow it -- yeah! I didn't see any dirty
comics ah, I mean, not any comics at all..."
"Please! Will you two stop it," said Amy, sweat drop on forehead. "The
only thing we can do is keep on our patrols --"
"Oh no! Not more patrolsss..." moaned Serena.
"And," Amy continuing with emphasis. "Keep in touch with each with our
communicators."
"Right!" said Luna. "It's too dangerous to face this enemy alone!"
Amy opened her computer. "I can try and narrow the search a little, so we
can keep an eye on the places that have the oldest and most obscure
artifacts, since that seems to be what the thief is after."
"I wonder what he wants with all this stuff," said Mina, thinking out
loud. "Seems like he could get enough porno just going down to the comic
book store."
"Like Raye does," Serena said quietly this time -- but not quietly enough.
   "SERENA!!!"
   "Ouchie-ouchie-ouchie!!!"

The security guard was a little puzzled. It wasn't unusual for
some kid to wander back into this part of the museum and spend
a bit too much time staring at the case of Mayan jade ornaments. But it had
never been some pretty young *girl* before.
The guard really wished those things weren't on display. He didn't like to
think he had a dirty imagination, but they always seem a little... just
kind of suggestive.
Not sure what he was going to say, the guard walked over to where the long
haired girl with the red ribbon was standing. He cleared his throat.
   "Oh, hello," said Mina, smiling.
   "Uh, yes, hello miss..."
She looked back at the collection of green carved cylinders in the case.
"Aren't these pretty? I wonder what they were used for. The little display
card doesn't say."
"I'm... ah," the guard tugged at his collar. "I won't know, miss... I'm
just a guard..." He backed away towards his post by the door.
Mina couldn't help smiling to herself. Actually what she was wondering
about is if anybody ever actually had used those stone things. They seemed a
little hard and cold for putting in the places they were obviously meant to
go...
"I better wander around some more," she said to herself. "Don't want to
seem too suspicious." She nodded to the guard as she passed. "And there are
other things in the museum the thief might be after."
Mina was halfway down the hall to the Egyptian section when she heard
a crash and a gasp of surprise.
"And then again, maybe he *is* after them," she said closing her eyes in
frustration.
She ran back down the hall, wondering why alarms weren't going off.
   Then the light went out.
   "Ask a silly question..."
Sliding to a halt and peering into room, Mina could just see by the
emergency lights that a roundish dark shape was scrambling back up through
a ragged hole that had been punched in the ceiling tiles. The display
case where the jade had been was shattered and the guard was standing in a
state of shock.
He had half drawn a flashlight from his belt. Mina plucked it from his
unresisting fingers. "I'll get this *right* back to you, okay? Thanks."
She clicked it on and shined it up into the hole. Tucking the flashlight
into her belt she jumped, grabbed the edge of the hole, and pulled herself
up into the crawl space above.
Mina banged her head on the low ceiling. "Ouch! This is looks more like a
job for Artemis, but no cats in the museum they said."
She headed off on hands and knees towards the sound of the creature ahead
of her.
Thankfully the thing had only stayed in the crawlspace long enough to
reach a service hallway, where in had broke open an air vent and dropped
inside. Mina was hot on its trail.
"But I better take care of something first..."

   "VENUS POWER!"

The back rooms of the museum were also without power. Swinging the beam
of the flashlight, Sailor Venus found the frightened face of a janitor as he
tried to press himself thin enough to hide in a doorway. Venus just had to
make a questioning expression, and the janitor pointed in the direction
the creature had ran.
It took her to a deadend hallway with a sink, a rack of brooms, and dusty
mop and bucket. A small window high on the wall let in some sunlight and the
dark hunched up creature was trying to pound it open with a stubby fist.
"Bad choice of escape routes, creepazoid!" said Mina. "I am Sailor Venus,
here to put *your* lights out."
The bulbous body spun around and a blazing red shaft shot from its
cyclops eye.
Venus was already in motion, easily leaping straight up into a diving
roll that cleared her of the beam. "Didn't expect that, huh? Well, I've been
in this business of a while!"
As she spoke, Venus noticed the creature's body was starting to quiver.
In fear? She wasn't *that* impressive, and --
In a sudden lunge, the creature thrust its entire body like a battering
ram at the window, breaking through the thick glass and twisting the frame
aside. It just barely squeezed through -- and in fact looked to have cut and
gouged itself badly on the jagged fragments. A thick slimy material dripped
from the sharp edges.
"Ick," said Sailor Venus. "Well, I'll never fit through there. Uh..."
She glanced back down the hall, shining the flashlight. Nobody in sight.
She sighed. "I *am* trying to get their property back..."

   "VENUS CRESCENT BEAM -- SMASH!!"

Sailor Venus leapt out through the now plenty big exit from the hall. She
was in the back of the museum where the hill side sloped down into a wooded
park area. The black creature was rolling down the incline like a rubbery
boulder.
Mina took off after at, slowing only enough to activate her
communicator to contact the other Scouts. "I'm afraid its boss will meet it
any minute," she said. "But I'll try to slow it down as much as I can!"
"Right!" said Raye over the line. "I'm not that far away! Be there
soon." The others also said they'd hurry.
The creature came to a jolting stop at the bottom. It shook itself and
stood on its stumpy legs. One hand clutched a bag of some black material.
It was crouching to leap away, when a flash of white lightning meowed past,
racking with claws, and knocked free the bag.
"Way to go Artemis!" Venus cheered to her partner as the cat landed and
hissed up at the black thing.
It lifted its arms menacing toward Artemis, but had to tumble back to
avoid a gleaming crescent beam that punched a good sized hole where it had
been. Venus jumped, rolled, grabbed the fallen bag, and came to an elegant
finish next to Artemis.
"A little close with the beam, weren't you?" the cat said.
"Don't you trust my aim after all this time?"
"Just advising a little caution -- I know I for one don't have eight more
lives to spare..."
"Then look OUT!!" Venus said, pushing Artemis out of the way of a red
eye beam. She was on her feet in an instant, but a second beam was coming
faster than she had expected. Instinctively she swung the bag in her hand
in front of her as a shield.
A red blaze washed around her -- but Venus felt nothing. The bag of
artifacts had stopped the beam. Or...
"Absorbed it..?" Mina said. The bag was glowing -- or rather the jade
objects inside were glowing through the material. Dancing electrical sparks
began to jump from the bag down her arm... and the glow was getting brighter
and brighter and...
"Sailor Venus!" Artemis yelled. "Drop it!"
   "I... I can't... it..."

   WOOSSHHH!!!

Mina staggered back from the blinding flash of light. She was wreathed
in a coat of miniature lightning... It faded though, and blinking, she saw
the creature scurry forward, grab the bag and take off.
"We have to get after him!" Venus said.
   "But are you all right!"
   "Yeah.. sure! Come on!"
Sailor Venus began to run, but quickly realized... *something* wasn't all
right. She felt a little flushed and there was an uneasy pressure in her
stomach and a warmth in her... Venus almost stumbled as a definite tingling
was growing between her legs and... spreading from her nipples across her
chest. Her heart was pounding -- and she did stumble, the world spinning
around her and the sensation kept getting stronger and...
"Good grief.." she said to herself. "I feel like I'm going to... to..."

   "EEEHH-AHHHUHH!! HUH... Huh..."

"Sailor Venus! Are you hurt!" said the cat.
"No... I... Oh my god..." she panted. "I... never mind!"
   "Venus!"
"I said never mind!" Mina got to her feet and took a step...
More than ever before she felt the pressure of her body suit as it
tugged between her legs, or how her form-fitting top snuggly held her breasts,
the fabric tight against her erect nipples.
Another step... She cringed helplessly as the waves of sensation began to
build again... The tickle of her own hair down the back of her neck, the
caress of the spring breeze.. There was nothing she could do to stop
*feeling*...

"OHH GODDDD!!" she moaned, falling to her knees as another orgasm rolled
over her.

Artemis hoped around, frantic. "Venus! What's wrong! Venus!"
"It's.. it's..." Venus collapsed to the ground -- a mistake since the
impact shuddered through her like an earthquake, and more quickly than
ever...

   "OOOHHH!! OHHH!!! EEHHAHHH!!!"

Very, very slowly, Venus tried to sit up. The slightest friction of cloth
against her skin was like the most stimulating kiss she'd ever had. But one
tiny motion at a time she was able to get up.
There was the sound of running heels...
   "Venus! Artemis! What's happened!"
"Sailor Mars!" cried Artemis. "Thank goodness you're here!"
"What's happened to Sailor Venus," she asked as she came near.
   "I... I don't know..." said the cat.
Raye walked over to Mina. "Venus are you --" she started to put a
concerned hand on her friend's shoulder...

"OH GOD, Mars! Don't touch MEEEEEE-AHHHHH!!!!"

Venus hit the ground again, writhing...
"Oh no," Sailor Mars, very worried. "What did that thing to you?"
Tenderly she placed her hand on Mina's cheek.

"EEEHHHH AHH!! OH GOD OH GOD!!! Mars... Please... I..."

Venus struggled to catch a breath. She was dripping with sweat and the
skin on her neck and chest of mottled with red patches. "OH, god, Mars...
I'm okay! JUST DON'T... Huh-huh-huh... Don't touch me... get after that
thing! Please..."
Sailor Mars looked confused and worried. "But..."
"Just go before it gets away... Artemis, help her!" She managed a steady
smile for a second.
Mars stood up. "Okay, girlfriend. Sailor Mars is on the job! Let's go!"
She spotted the black blob running into the woods and shot off towards
it. Artemis, after one more worried glance, followed.
Venus gave a single enormous sigh and tried to lie as still as she
possibly could.
"In other circumstances..." she said, still breathing heavily. "I wouldn't be
complaining. But there's a proper time and place for everything..."
