This is only for *readers*.
If you have written a story, go look up the "{ASSD} Story Codes FAQ"
in alt.sex.stories.d
What are all of those funny letters after the titles of stories?
And what do they mean?
They are story codes, and they give you a brief glimse at what sort of
story it is. Note that many authors *only* use the sex and age
descriptions. If the story code includes more than that, it is *likely*
that anything to which you might object that is listed below is mentioned
in the story code. It is not *certain*.
These break down into several categories.
SEX & AGE:
"M,m,b" are all males. "b" is always a young boy.
"F,f,g" are all females. "g" is a young girl.
"M,F" *should* be adults;
"m,f" *should* be teens.
They aren't always, because posters are careless (or clueless).
Also, in the bondage/dominance community, "M" is a male dominant, "m"
is a male submissive, etc.
MF is adult heterosexual sex
ff is teen lesbian sex
MMM/f means adult men gang-banging a teenaged girl
etc.
The presence or absence of "/" doesn't mean much.
teen Teenagers
teen1 young teenagers 13-15
teen2 teenagers 16-19
Preteen Ages 12 and below
ped Ages 12 and below
FORCE and CONSENT:
"rape" is rape
"nc" is non-consensual. That is rape in law, but the style may be
different.
"reluc" Woman says no first, then consents.
"con" or "cons" Is consent.
"rom" is romantic, always consensual.
"mc" means "mind-control" a big subgenre.
"bondage" means bondage (should be bd)
"bd" means bondage (and discipline)
"dom," "ds," "d/s" refers to dominance and submission.
"mdom, fdom, femdom" indicate the sex of the dominant one.
"sm" Sado-masochism
"spank" Spanking, mild sm.
All of these might be capitalized. No difference.
STYLE:
"1st" First time, defloration or male first time
"best" Bestiality, sex with animals
"cbt" Cock and ball torture
"CD" Cross dressing (should be tv)
"exhib" Exhibitionism
"furry" Animals with human characteristics. Werewolf or Mickey Mouse
"inc" Incest
"interr" Interracial
"lac" Milk, not from a cow
"preg" Either impregnation or sex with a pregnant woman.
"snuff" Killing
"tort" Torture
"tg" Trans gender men being changed into women or vice versa
"tv" Transvestite men dressing as women,
"virg" Virgin (should be 1st)
"voy" Voyeur, peeking
"ws" Water sports. Pissing.
"wife" Wife *watching* consensual cuckoldry
"yng" Participants are young.
"zoo" Zoophilia, sex with animals
Sometimes interracial stories are labeled "WM BF," etc. White and Black of
course. I have seen Asian abbreviated "A."
I have left off most of what is either self-explanatory or non-threatening.
There are several fetishes on the newsgroup, such as hair, feet, and
rubber.
Nothing requires writers to use these codes, and many make up their
own. But these are a start. There is a list of of recommendations for
authors being published concurrently on alt.sex.stories.d
ALSO:
{Smith} identifies the author of the story.
[3/7] *OR* [3!7] means that it is the third chapter of seven.
Some posters use [1/1] irrationally when it is really part of a multipart
story. [1/?] means that the author hasn't written any more yet, but might
some day.
