A Happy Ending

Tom had a fitful night with the pain in his ass and the back

of bed by his Aunt Patty, who was yelling, "hurry up and get
ready for school or we'll be late."

Tom pleadingly said, "please don't call my mom, Aunt Patty, I

After home room he limped down to the nurses office enduring

Carrie and Maria were into Gothic and always wore dark clothes

liked Tom, as did most of the people in school. 

Ms. Drew asked Tom why he was there and Tom repeated his
roller skating fall story.  Ms. Drew had already talked with
Tom's aunt and knew he was coming and why.  She thought to

Once outside Tom spotted Kathy's car and quickly got into the

When they arrived, Kathy led Tom to the pool at the back of

both nurses, who were going to look him over.  

Kathy told Tom to get undressed and hurry up about it so the
women could see what his problem was.  Tom immediately started
to unbutton his shirt when Page told him to wait a minute. 
She told Kathy that she would like to look at him inside and
alone.  Kathy merely said, "be my guest."

Lisa and Page led Tom into the house and up to one of the
bedrooms.  As they went thru the house Tom looked for Stirling
and Ms. Burns but saw neither.  Tom was very apprehensive
about these two women, having seen how he was treated by
Kathy's other friends.

Once in the bedroom Page told Tom to undress and sit on the
bed.  Tom undressed and both women looked at each other as he

Page asked what happened and Tom told her about how he fell
while skating.  Page and Lisa looked at each other and said to

dad left.

Page told Tom to calm down.  She also told him she wanted him
to go down to the pool and  just soak in the water.  The water
would be good for his bruises.  She added she and Lisa were
going to shower and dress and come back down to the Pool. 
Having no swim suit she told Tom to put his panties back on so
he would be covered.  She gave him a towel and sent him back
to the pool. 

When Page and Lisa came back to the pool, they had a sight to
behold.  Tom was floating in the water with a long ribbon

"That's it," said Page, "he's coming home with us."  Lisa went

"We are taking him home with us,"  replied Lisa.  She added,
"if you have a problem with that maybe we could call child
services or even the police."

Page had Tom get out of the water and go in the house and get
dressed.  When he came out, they ushered him into their car
and left.  After a short drive they arrived at another very
large home with a pool which was not too far from Kathy's.  

"This is my dad's house," said Page. "He's a doctor and he and
my mother have gone to Asia for the summer so we have the
house to ourselves." Tom was amazed at the size of the houses
some people owned.

Tom was shown to a good sized bedroom and was told he would be
sleeping there.  A housekeeper immediately announced there
were cookies and milk in the kitchen, and Tom wasted no time
going there.  Tom was told that as soon as he had rested a
while there would be a shopping trip in order.  They were even
going to buy a bathing suit for Tom.

Tom called his mother and explained that his Aunt Patty was
taken ill and was unable to care for him.  He added that she
had left him in the care of her good friends and he would be
able to stay with them until graduation.  His mom seemed
pleased and said she would be returning to the U.S. for his
graduation ceremony in a few weeks.

Tom lived large for the next few weeks and was named
Valedictorian for his class, and did receive several other
awards for academics and sports.  Tom knew that all the things
he learned in the past few months were not all in school. 
Unfortunately Tom's aunt Patty was unable to attend the
graduation ceremony but Page and Lisa were there.
