They play competitively in high school and grade school. They are always at somebody's house playing, or they are at his house playing 5 on 5 on the full length basketball court in the backyard. However, lately their behavior has gotten worse and unless he or his wife takes matters into their own hands, it will not improve. His wife is a flight attendant and travels extensively. They try to work hard to support their young charges. He works long hours as a lawyer, so he expects Jaren and Scott to take on the parental role to the twins, including disciplining them if necessary. He has not personally spanked any of the boys in the past year, and it is beginning to show. However, Jaren being the oldest has spanked Scott and the twins for various transgressions, from using the car without permission to leaving their rooms a mess. Scott has also spanked the youngsters. They all assured him that it was clean. So when he woke the two older boys up in the morning, it was to remind them to clean the house and to punish the twins for lying and having a messy room. Since Dan and Brett were the ones with food plates in their room, he asked Jaren and Scott to deal with this, as well, in addition to the punishment that they were going to get for having a messy room. He told the boys that the twins had violated two rules: 1. having a messy room and 2 for eating in a room other than the kitchen. He also reminded the two older boys that their rooms were not clean and that Jaren was to discipline Scott and that he would take care of Jaren when he got home. "Since Jaren is going to discipline me, may I discipline him," Scott inquired. "What is the rule," Bud asked his 15 year old nephew. "That only you or aunt can punish Jaren since he is the oldest," Scott responded. "That is correct," Uncle Bud responded. He continued to talk to the boys. "Jaren, will you please discipline Brett. Give him the option of instrument, position and dress. However, if you strip him or he decides to stay dressed, he gets double. If he makes a good choice and takes his clothes off then he gets the usual. These were rules that the boys came up with, not him. So I believe, you need to give him at least 25 of your best for this infraction of leaving their rooms a mess and then they get more for having dishes in their room. He also reminded the older boys that he would check their handiwork when he returned from work. Scott, please do the same with Dan, again with the same options and qualifications as with Brett." "I have been busy with basketball and weight lifting that I have not had the time to clean this room," Scott replied apologetically. "That is no excuse. I am busy, too and I have time to clean better than this, I think it is just laziness on your part, Scotty. What is the punishment for leaving a room a mess like this?" "If we leave it just a little messy, we get 25." "That is right. If we leave it a little messy, but I do not call this a little messy. How many should you get for this?" Jaren wanted to know the answer. "I know we made up the consequences but we never talked about a mess like this", Scott replied. "You are right. What do you think," Scott wonders. "Well, let us see. Before Uncle Bud did the white glove treatment last night, he asked the boys if their rooms were cleaned. They answered yes. Then he wakes us up this morning to let us know that these boys violated a standing rule of the house, that of no dishes in any part of the house except dining room and kitchen and having a dirty room besides that. So, I think Scott that they should also get some extra added for lying to our uncle. What do you think?" "OH Yeah, I forgot about that. So they should be punished for leaving their room a mess, having dishes in the room and for lying to Uncle Bud. They should get 25 for lying, leaving their room a mess is also 25 and leaving dirty dishes in their room should also be another 25." Scott replies Jaren continues, "For lying they get their choice of instrument and dress and position; for leaving their room a mess and having dishes in the room is also a choice of instrument, position and dress. That amount that I just mentioned assumes that you will choose to be totally naked for your punishment." "This then will be their punishment. I will take Brett into his room. He will have a choice of stripping himself, me stripping him, or remaining fully clothed. He then will have the option of the belt, the paddle, the cane, the whip, the slipper or the cat o nine tails. He will have the option of standing bending down and touching his ankles, OTK, or draped over the arm of the chair. After he has decided all of that we will come out here and proceed. They could have decided to let the twins receive more for having a big mess in their rooms but they decided to call it a little messy room. The two older boys also realized that if they had decided that the two younger boys were just lying to their uncle than they would have only received 25 but they decided to call it disrespectful behavior because of their sucky attitude. By calling it disrespectful behavior this increased the boys' punishment and increased the intensity as they were going to receive 50 with the belt instead of having a choice.
