He sat alone in the vast, empty expanse of beach, like some helpless jewel cast up by the sea, watching the waves as they lapped at his toes. It was as though he wished that they might carry him away again. The sand clung to his skin, glittering black against the coconut-milk flesh that tanned dark gold beneath the sun. I walked to his side, joining him in his nakedness and his solitude, and, as my lover turned to me, the breeze picked up, leaving ghostly whispers of footprints across the sand. His eyes were impossibly beautiful, the color of the rich, blue-green Hawaiian waters, and I felt myself dive into them, cool and warm and sensuous all at once. He pressed his lips against mine, guiding me to the sand, and I let him in, suckling gently against the tender explorations of his tongue. I could taste the pina colada on his breath, sweet and luxurious, like his love and the gentle play of his hands against my sides. It tasted like paradise come to Earth, warm as the wet obsidian that pressed against my back and soft as the sliding of his smooth, hairless skin against my own. Swallowed by the seductive lapping of the waves and the slow, lazy contentment of the tropical air, I surrendered myself to his attentions and the long, sleek muscles beneath his skin. The temptation of the thick, warm excitement that pressed against me grew too great, though, and we wrestled in the sand, all laughter and quick, furtive stroking. He soon caught me beneath his body, tracing the crease of my rear with his thick, smooth masculinity, and claimed me as his own, amidst the sand and waves. -- Copyright 2004 Adrian Mailenna.
